The plotline regarding the Aglionby tuition increase is changed. This is the letter Adam receives instead. The scene of Adam fixing the ley line while Ronan dreams something to fight Kavinsky is still included, but this dialogue was cut because the plotline isn't there.

It's framed as an Aglionby-related fundraising event for Mrs. Gansey's campaign and it seems to be local, not in DC. I won't say it's not different, because it is, but the meat of it is still there. Still Gansey networking for Adam, still the weird Latin music, still the fight, etc. The whole thing doesn't wrap up the same way as the book though.

Unfortunately, "dream me the world" didn't make the cut. I think I mentioned before that the substance party scene is condensed with Ronan racing K in the Pig, and, in the book, that line is at the end of the substance party. I know that's going to upset people, but I think the way it's been done works well. I also don't think there's another scene where it could have been added in a way that makes sense and doesn't feel forced.
