Wait, Why Didn't You Say So?

There are multiple reports in Facebook that my street is being blocked off by police cruisers. Apparently there was an armed robbery in the town next to mine and the "purps" have made there way into my street area. Hours ago I called the babysitter to get Ray and Neely and her inside. I didn't think it would take too long but it's still going on. The schools are on lock down, kids aren't being sent home. Husbandito called a cop we know in the area and he said to just stay inside. So ...

I'm sick again, stupid head cold. Ray turns four (4!) on Saturday and we are having a right big backyard party for him. My sister, niece, mom, and grandmother are all coming in from NJ late Thursday night. The railings on the new deck aren't finished yet. Husbandito had to reorder railings because he couldn't do the single piece ones and needs some other kind because ahhhhjhhh! Good news though my house is clean, I'll be able to do yoga twice this week (because fuck this head cold), and Cake! Also we are practicing counting backwards and writing numbers as we countdown the days to Ray's party/birthday.

Just went through 1/2 a local haunted house. Pretty much peed myself.

On Mondays I get to pretend to be a mom who always gets to drop her kid off and go to yoga. What the moms won't know is that I have to work on Saturdays to make this happen, but god damn it, I'll be that mom on Mondays.
