Species File: The Polynerva "The Polynerva are a species much like we've known as "succubus" in folklore and fantasy. Possibly they're one in the same, with details forgotten or over dramatized with the passage of time. Polynerva are simply social folk who can harness the emotions felt by those around them as power and energy. I've seen it myself in those around me. Thoughtful Melinda typically can be seen being a teasing flirt to gather her energy, though I hear tale she's quite adept at gathering energy off people who try to fight her, feeding off their frustration, fear, or sorrow to stack the odds against them. Other Polynerva I've come into contact with like Kind Kaolin or Speaker Arthur tend to interact with emotions with their work ethic or leadership roles show truly that emotions are infinitely nuanced.
