So imagine Alex and Justin cast the memory spell and either it works but they forgot to cast the spell on Roman leading to them being very confused the next time Alex visits when little Roman asks where his cousin is. After all, as far as Alex knows, she's never even been pregnant before. Or the spell doesn't fully work with Billy and Roman both growing up with vague half-forgotten memories that don't make any sense both of them having this feeling like they are missing something but having no idea what until the moment Alex and Bille show up and the two of them lay eyes on each other for the first time.
