im kinda tired of non nfl/nba rpf accounts making this point

its already been said 100 times and its like... yall dont engage with it either so lets unpack that

the "interest" people have in nbarpf is mostly performative because it exists, it's out there, but gets low engagement despite the number of people who claim to want to see it lol

it also feels very generalizing like yeah the community is way smaller and yeah it is because a lot of fujos cannot see black people as romantic beings but its not like it doesn't exist at all

also... (mostly black) bbrpf and fbrpf fans talk about this fairly regularly but the take only goes triple platinum when nonblack people start talking about it and recycling the same point we've made repeatedly over the years... curious!

idk like im just annoyed by these takes coming from accounts that literally don't engage with the rpf that already exists

just feels like nb people using antiblackness in fandom as a gotcha moment
