SukHo tells a reporter that the rumors about two idols ( SongYi  and Jinu, lead sunger of Jackson) dating in his agency are’t true. But the rumors are spreading.

But the rumors are true. Reporter has pictures of the two idols making out. 

SukHo has given the reporter a lot of money and stories so he wants to follow him when he starts his new agency. They quickly come to an agreement.

SongYi misses a rehearsal claiming to be ill but she looks healthy. SukHo tells her to fake it at least.

She doesn’t want to break up with Jinu even thought the scandal is costing the agency a lot of money.

SukHo doesn’t understand why she is pretending to be a normal person after working so hard to become an idol.

SukHo meets with KTOPs CEO who bitterly congratulates him on winning the court case to break off from KTOP and start his own agency with Jackson. Jackson is a popular idol group that SukHo discovered and developed.

CEO wants to release Jackson’s latest song under the KTOP label so they have to move the release date up a couple of weeks. Some other artists are releasing songs that week and Jackson might not top the charts.

Meanwhile HaNeul is in court on false charges of sexual assault against a longtime friend. He insists that it wasn’t him.

Since he is already labeled a criminal he might as well take full punishment. So he is sentenced to two months detention in the community center and 30 hours of sexual education and counseling.

When SukHo visits Jackson during practice Jinu seems troubled. SukHo tells him to stop seeing SongYi and prepare for the release of their song.

GeuRin brings clothes and a letter for HaNeul. The man who runs the home says HaNeul seems like a good kid but doesn’t talk much. HaNeul makes a paper airplane out of the letter and sends it sailing away unread.

Jackson’s new song tops the charts with the help of SukHo’s hacker friend who probably stacked the ratings.

But SukHo credited composition to Jinu and the composer is very angry.

SukHo isn’t sympathetic and says the composer should be happy since he was paid a lot more than usual for the song. But composer refuses the money and threatens to sue. SukHo says he will only be accused of plagiarism.

SukHo takes a director to an entertainment room and gets a call that the composer committed suicide. SukHo drives after drinking and gets into a wreck with another car and is detained in jail until the other driver settles. But the other driver is bribed by SukHo’s former assistant to not settle.

Yeo MinJoo works at a small agency responsible to promote Jackson’s new album although she would prefer to promote indie bands.

SukHo doesn’t want to worry his dad by calling and he doesn’t understand why his assistant hasn’t come to see him.

In reality assistant delayed his release from jail to betray SukHo. Assistant was bribed with a promotion if he gets Jackson renew their contract with KTOP. 

SukHo finds out about the betrayal through a TV newscast.

Assistant arrives to pick SukHo up when he is released from jail and SukHo kicks him in the shin.

Later SukHo learns that Jackson has already moved out of the dorm.

He flashes back to when they were making plans together for their new agency.

SukHo is broke and friendless having lost everything he worked for.

HaNeul’s family were against him doing any kind of music because his older brother died pursuing music.

But music is all that HaNeul is interested in.

SukHo goes to an old friend to borrow money but the friend only wants payback.

HaNeul drops out of school. He probably won’t get into a good college with a criminal record and he doesn’t care about college anyway. SukHo hears a jingle that HaNeul wrote for the school anthem and it gives him hope. DramaFever

ChaSik’s piano playing is improving by leaps and bounds but YooSeul isn’t confident that either of them can pass the preliminaries for the contest. At least she will give it her best so as not to have any regrets when she quits.

Meanwhile JinMok is in a slump to the extent that he is looking into alternatives to music education.

ChaSik has been writing his famous pianist “dad” on a regular basis.

Although they have little chance of winning, YooSeul decides to trust that small possibility.

As YooSeul tries to teach ChaSik they get so frustrated that he quits.

But then he gets some helium balloons and apologizes with a squeaky voice.

What he wants most i to make YooSeul smile like she did in his dreams.

So they get back to practicing together.  Pianist dad seems to enjoy ChaSik’s letters and decides to attend the contest as a judge.

Momster watches YooSeul and ChaSik practice and YooSeul is smiling.

Piano teacher is surprised that JinMok isn’t entering the contest.

YooSeul still gets angry whenever she runs into JinMok.

So she warns ChaSik to not embarrass her in the preliminaries.

He promises to do whatever it takes to pass so they decide to practice all night.

Momster asks ChaSik what is his secret. YooSeul never smiles when playing the piano but she smiles when she plays with him.

When ChaSik goes to pick up YooSeul he suggests that she tell her mom she is playing again. YooSeul says Momster’s expectations will put her under pressure.

There is a part in their piece that has to be played dynamically and ChaSik isn’t strong or fast enough yet.

ChaSik wants JinMok to make him angry so he can play faster.

Momster is drunk when ChaSik’s mom comes in to buy a piano. They talk for awhile and Momster warns mom to not put all her expectations on her son. The burden will get too heavy for him.

Mom tells ChaSik she doesn’t want to be a landlord. She will be happier hiding away and writing her stories.

No matter how hard he practices, ChaSik can’t get up to speed.

He leaves practice early and tries to persuade JinMok to help.

JinMok is hesitant to help his lifelong enemy but ChaSik reminds him about the time when he injured his hand protecting YooSeul from the peeping tom.

ChaSik disappears for a few days to practice but he still isn’t fast enough.

YooSeul misses him like he predicted and she warns him. If he doesn’t show up for practice this time the deal is off.

ChaSik does show up but he gets JinMok to play in his stead.

JinMok plays the piece perfectly and gets a compliment from YooSeul for the first time. She urges him to never give up the piano (thinking he is ChaSik)

Next day ChaSik learns that the famous pianist isn’t he dad after all. He came to the contest because he was curious as to why ChaSik thought that? ChaSik asks Mom why she lied about it?

YooSeul tells ChaSik to play like he did the night before and they will pass.

ChaSik reminds YooSeul of the promise that she would continue playing the piano if they passed the preliminaries.

Then ChaSik tells his not-dad that he is substituting another player in his place. He changed the name on the application to JinMok.

It was allowed since it was a preliminary contest. JinMok hasn’t memorized the piece but Momster volunteers to be his page turner.

Mom finally explains to ChaSik why she lied. 

Mom knew that ChaSik was suicidal the day that he saved YooSeul. All his hopes were tied up in sports and those hopes were dashed.

She thought that if he was related to a great person he could aspire to great things himself. She doesn’t want him to be like her.

Dissing herself like that makes ChaSik angrier than he has ever been.

JinMok asks what Momster will do for him if he plays well with YooSeul. She promises to give him a compliment.

After YooSeul’s encouragement, JinMok decides to continue playing the piano. Even if he ends up teaching he will be doing something he loves.

ChaSik is angry enough to play the piece like it was meant to be played showing his mother what he inherited from her alone. He plays it for his mom at the same time that YooSeul and JinMok are playing it.

All three of the players get standing ovations. They go on to win the grand prize and YooSeul is smiling in the picture. Momster tells JinMok that he is the best, and Mom writes an original new story called “Page Turner” Viki

ChaSik gets permission to play the psychedelic piano in the tunnel while YooSeul is refusing any help at all from her mother.

It’s YooSeul’s first day back to school and kids are gossiping. 

JinMok goes to find YooSeul and follows helping along the way. She thinks that it’s her mom and scolds him for following her calling him “Mom”

The other kids can’t understand why JinMok is being so nice to his rival. The teacher asks for someone to help YooSeul but nobody volunteers.

Believing that his father is a famous pianist, ChaSuk tries to transfer to the arts academy. However he doesn’t have the specs.

JinMok volunteers to be YooSeul’s helper but she doesn’t want him.

ChaSik overhears the conversation and volunteers to be her helper. She needs a helper and he wants an excuse to get into the school.

YooSeul chooses ChaSik because she still hates JinMok. But ChaSik embarrasses her in front of the class with his ignorance.

YooSeul is convinced that JinMok’s kindness is out of pity and it makes her feel even worse than she did before. She’s not willing to reconcile until she wins first place again. Then she will consider.

ChaSik gets his bike fixed so that YooSeul can ride on the back.

He assures her that she will eventually know his worth but she doesn’t want to.

ChaSik takes the entire weekend to bone up on classical music.

Next class he performs well and everyone is impressed.

On the way out, ChaSik shows YooSeul more of what he learned.

YooSeul doesn’t want help until she encounters a dog and and owner that tries to take advantage of her blindness. ChaSik defends her and threatens to call the police since everything has been captured on CCTV.

This time YooSeul accepts ChaSik’s invitation to ride on his bike. It’s the first time she has ever been on a bike and she enjoys it more that she thought.

Momster is polite to ChaSik’s face but berates him behind his back. YooSeul defends ChaSik and he overhears the conversation.

YooSeul knows that her mom was winning the trophies vicariously through her.

Her greatest regret is that she didn’t get to do normal things like riding a bike or going to the zoo while she could still see.

Momster looks at the trophies and pictures. YooSeul didn’t smile even once.

Next day ChaSik show up in a suit with his hair slicked back but Momster isn’t impressed. She says he looks like a loan shark now.

ChaSik nas been having repetitive dreams about playing a piano duet with YooSeul. The dreams are so vivid that he want’s to make them reality.

The rainbow song that YooSeul played is the one he has been dreaming.

At school, YooSeul has a habit of changing for gym in a separate room from the others and JinMok catches a guy videotaping her. Luckily she had only taken off her jacket but the guys get into a fight over it.

JinMok injured his hand in the fight and is unable to play at a family wedding. All his dad cares about is getting a replacement.

ChaSik sees a poster for a two piano contest and it’s just like his dream.

He wants to enter the contest with YooSeul but everyone thinks he is crazy. He tells them that his dad is a famous pianist. They agree to believe him if he passes the preliminaries for the contest.

ChaSik is convinced he can enter the contest because of his dreams.

In the dream he was playing the piano across from YooSeul. She had regained her eyesight and was smiling at him.

He asks if she will believe him if he can play the song she first played for him.

YooSeul thinks it’s trick but he starts to play with her hand over his.

He has come so far in a couple of months that she starts to believe him and agrees to enter the contest with him. Viki

MrNam is all bravado when he goes to get his son’s bike. That is, until he realizes that the new neighbor is MsTemper.

She calls him a pervert in front of his son and Ex1.

MsTemper confiscated the bike because one of the movers tripped on it and charged for compensation.

He asks for the bike back and she demands $650 that the movers charged her.

LittleBro can’t get money from Dad so he gets it from JungGi (MrNam)

When MrNam gives MsTemper a payment she tells him to settle with the mover.

Since he paid some of the money, MsTemper lets the son ride for 15 min.

MrNam gets a part time job as a mover and has to wear pain patches afterward.

BossJo finally realizes the MrNam is the catalyst for getting anything done.

A competitor, Best, tries to hire MrNam for his “Pat Pat” serum. 

BossJo wants MrNam back so he wines and dines him. MrNam reminds him of how he berated him before.

DirKim orders MsTemper to come up with a new product. He actually got his promotion because of the tint she discovered.

The “Pat Pat” serum that MrNam develop is just what Gold Chemical needs.

MrNam plays hard-to-get this time but MsTemper is logical.

The “Pat Pat” serum has been upgraded with organic herbal extracts.

MsTemper tells DirKim that the “Pat Pat” serum has potential.

But DirKim wants the credit for developing the serum.

DirKim also wants to meet in a “nice” place to sign the contract.

All the office workers are happy to have MrNam back. With him taking up the slack the office is functional again.

MsTemper offers to let Son ride his bike for 15 minutes but he declines since his dad is working night and day the get the bike back.

She also learns that the mover who tripped over the bike is scamming MrNam.

DirKim is bullying Lovely but they don’t believe they have a choice since Gold Chemicals is a much larger company.

MsTemper is scolds MrNam for giving up without a fight. If “Pat Pat” is like a child to him shouldn’t any self-respecting parent protect his child.

MsTemper is so disgusted with the behavior of DirKim and the unjust contract that she tears it up and throws it in their faces.

Losing the contract seems worse to MrNam than having their work stolen. So he and the boss go drinking and have to call a designated driver.

Next morning MsTemper’s car has been scraped. MrNam’s car is scraped too and the culprit tried to cover the scrape with a crayon.

MrNam has finally paid off the bike but MsTemper suspects him of scraping her car. He can’t figure out what she wants from him.

MsTemper quits her job at Gold Chemicals and BossJo is in a bad mood.

MrNam tries to encourage MsTemper about getting a better job.

At this point he doesn’t have a clue that his car was the one that scraped hers.

But the only person who shows up on the CCTV is MrNam. They try to contact the designated driver but he quit the job that night.

MrNam finally acknowledges the fact that he is a coward. Worse than that MsTemper has been hired at Lovely and is his new boss.  DramaFever

“Those who have been gifted by Heaven” Three different students are introduced as “page turners” assisting in a performance as the person standing closest, letting the star shine more than themselves. But the reality is opposite.

YooSeul is a teenage piano prodigy who wears makeup and listens to pop music until her mother comes out. Then she changes the station to classical and lies that she was practicing for the upcoming competition.

ChaSik is a jock pole vaulter who doesn’t know a piano from a keyboard.

Momster is a piano teacher who wants YooSeul to win at any cost. She has a vendetta against JinMok who is second place no matter how hard he tries.

Momster wants to destroy JinMok completely and take him out of the running.

Although YooSeul does volunteer to be the page turner for JinMok she turns the pages for him properly. Momster is angry and everyone else is surprised since the two have been outspoken enemies since they were children.

Momster was JinMok’s piano teacher but he disrespected her and got her fired. 

JinMok is also surprised that YooSeul didn’t try to sabotage his performance.

When JinMok disrespected Momster, YooSeul played the piece perfectly. JinMok got so angry that he slammed the piano lid on YooSeul’s fingers.

JinMok volunteers to be page turner for YooSeul but when it was time to turn the page he knocks the sheet music to the floor. YooSeul continues playing as though nothing happened because she memorized all the pieces.

ChaSik notices someone disrespecting his mother and yells at them.

Coach tells ChaSik it is because their son jumped higher than he did.

So he decides to beat the other student’s record and succeeds. 

Mom gives the other parents her business card. She is a freelance writer.

YooSeul tells JinMok she had considered cheating but didn’t think she needed to. Apparently he isn’t able to put the feeling into romantic music.

ChaSik is so drunk on his success that he puts the bar even higher but ends up racking himself and has to go to the hospital.

JinMok sits in church and calls down all kinds of curses on YooSeul for her arrogance in dissing his efforts to make up for his lack of talent. While he is praying he gets news that YooSeul was in an accident and lost her sight.

The accident damaged YooSeul’s optic nerve and there is little chance that her eyesight will return. Momster immediately wants to get a second opinion.

Momster is more concerned about her playing the piano than her health.

If her eyesight doesn’t return, Momster wants her to practice even harder.

ChaSik’s reproductive capacity isn’t damaged but his spine is.

The spinal injury has been progressive and requires surgery. He can live a normal life but he can not longer participate in sports.

JinMok’s conscience is bothering him to the extent that he can’t look at the picture of Jesus. He turns the picture down and goes to buy flowers for YooSeul.

He is shocked to see that she is really blind and she blames it all on him.

Her mother changed on the day that JinMok got her fired and she became obsessed with winning against him.

YooSeul is tired to death of playing the piano and hating JinMok.

So she falls backwards off the ledge only to be caught by ChaSik. He guessed she was going to do something like that so he led her to a ledge that only had a 5 foot drop onto the roof of the parking garage.

After hearing her accusations, ChaSik scolds her for blaming others when she is the one who deceived her mother into thinking she loved the piano. Then he scolds JinMok for bringing flowers to a person who can’t see.

ChaSik tells his mother about his adventure on the rooftop but what was he doing there in the first place? 

He says he was getting some fresh air but mom guesses the real reason. 

It’s raining and mom’s umbrella shoots off like a rocket when she tried to open it. ChaSik bursts into laughter and then into tears. The umbrella is broken like him.

He rails at God for taking away the only thing he could do well. Then he begs Mom to tell him what to do. But apparently it was his reckless practice that was cracking his spine. Young people tend to push their boundaries to the limit and sports injuries are common.

Momster volunteers to be YooSeul’s helper but YooSeul has decided to make it on her own. She can take her classes in braille.

ChaSik is depressed for a few days until mom calls him out.

His father is a famous pianist and ChaSik has a natural affinity for classical music. His hands with their long fingers are not the hands of an athlete.

ChaSik even cried because of the beautiful piano music in a movie he saw.

If ChaSik inherited even a little of his father’s talent he would be good at anything he set his mind to.

Mom didn’t tell his father about him because she was embarrassed. ChaSik is embarrassed too because of his whining about losing sports.

Pole vaulting was the least of ChaSik’s talents and he excelled at that.

YooSeul tells Momster that she will study hard and graduate but she won’t be playing the piano anymore. She knows she can’t live up to Momster’s expectations and doesn’t have the energy for it anymore. But ChaSik has decided to start playing the piano. ♥ Viki

This drama makes me think a lot so I decided to give it a shot. MrNam has a reputation for timidity but he is actually a self-proclaimed pacifist. He protects himself by avoiding confrontation and responsibility if possible. Although he is the team leader he tends to do most of the work himself. On the other hand, MsTemper has a strong sense of justice and thrives on confrontation.

The story begins with MrNam standing on a ledge after a really bad day wondering if this is the only way out.

A younger member of his team gets promoted for a product that MrNam developed. He doesn’t mind because he is a virtuous keeper of the peace.

HyunWoo wonders why MrNam doesn’t defend himself but he considers avoiding conflict a way of defending himself.

Greed muddies one’s judgment and a position with a lot of responsibility shortens one’s life span.

The boss knows that MrNam developed the serum that HyunWoo got credit for and he wants MrNam to sell it to Gold Chemicals.

MrNam hates the thought of taking responsibility for that but the boss offers him promotion and threatens him with losing his job if he doesn’t do well.

MrNam prepares the proposal and wants someone to go over it with him but nobody is willing to do it.

So he works late to be sure that there are no mistakes. When he gets home he enjoys a picture that his son drew of the bike he bought for his birthday.

MrNam falls asleep at the table and is awakened by a moving company that has mistaken his house for the one next door. They ransack the place before listening long enough to realize they have the wrong place.

He prepares the sample for his presentation but the movers have blocked the door. When they push it open he falls on his backpack. Besides that his car battery is dead. So he gets to work late but still in time for the presentation.

The men get directions from an woman who they think is an admin.

They ogle the woman as she leads them to the conference room.

They get a text from the boss of Gold Chemicals “I hope you come back alive.” Still thinking she is an admin they order coffee and she gets it for them.

Turns out that the woman is the team leader. they are meeting. The gift that MrNam prepared was broken she he fell so her first impression is bad.

When MsTemper starts to walk away the boss pushes MrNam into her back. His name tag gets caught in her blouse and rips it open.

MrNam buys MsTemper a new blouse but she refuses to accept it.

Instead she rips his shirt open. “An eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth.”

That’s what brought MrNam to the ledge but HyunWoo distracts him.

HyunWoo tells MrNam that MsTemper has a reputation for sleeping her way to the top. She calls men to her hotel room to sign contracts.

HyunWoo is willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good if MrNam won’t.

DeadbeatBro has MrNam’s car battery charged but refuses to pay the bill. 

Dad calls MrNam to tell him that his brother, car, and his son’s bike are missing.

Everyone blames MrNam for the contract falling and the boss suggests that the person responsible should resign.

MrNam’s car is towed and DeadbeatBro says it’s probably a good thing since he was driving with a suspended license.

MsTemper likes the serum that MrNam developed and decides to give him another chance. She calls him to her hotel room in meets him in a bathrobe. So he gets the wrong idea and starts to strip. She if offended and kicks him out.

MrNam asks HyunWoo if what he said about MsTemper liking men was really true? Then he realizes that she was only interested int the serum.

He finds her in her office and apologizes taking all the blame for what happened. Then he leaves samples and his phone number.

MsTemper doesn’t call and MrNam turns in his resignation.

He promises to buy his son another bike but then he finds a picture of the bike. It was illegally parked in the hallway and confiscated by the person across the hall. That person happens to be MsTemper who has just moved in. DramaFever

ChiAng and ShiWoo go looking for SoonDuk but she has moved. Both of the have learned that the pendant ShiWoo gave her is part of the Chintamani key.

ChiAng warns BadDad’s thugs to look but don’t touch SoonDuk.

ChaeYoon kicks the bad guys out of Murim School.

Nobody can possess the Chintamani. The strong only protect it to ward of evil.

SunA stays by DeanHwang’s bedside until he wakes up.

ChaeYoon extracts the 3rd part of Chintamani key from the Murim School seal.

DeanHwang and ChaeYoon want SunA to leave Murim School for her safety but she refuses to go.

SunA calls ShiWoo to tell him that both dads have returned to Murim School.

ChiAng finds SoonDuk first and asks for the key. He thinks ShiWoo is fighting a losing battle.

SoonDuk realizes that ChiAng wants to hurt ShiWoo and everyone else that stands in his way. If he forces her to be with him she will die.

ShiWoo arrives and gives ChiAng the key to protect SoonDuk.

The safety of ChiAng and SoonDuk means more to him than the key.

As long as SoonDuk is with him that is enough for ShiWoo.

Most of the students decide to stay at Murim School to help protect it. There is no other place in the world like it.

ShiWoo takes SoonDuk back to Murim School with him.

ShiWoo realizes he might regret what he just did for the rest of his life but he asks SoonDuk to tell him he did good. She says “Good job, Yoon ShiWoo”

ShiWoo finally reunites with his father and they embrace in tears.

BadDad is proud of  ChiAng for getting the key. ShiWoo gave it because he still considers ChiAng a friend. But does ChiAng still consider ShiWoo a friend?

ShiWoo persuades his dad to trust him with the remaining piece of the key.

If it hadn’t been for ChiAng, ShiWoo would have left the school. So he trusts their friendship enough to give ChiAng the last piece of the key.

SunA asks ShiWoo to tell ChiAng how much she misses him.

The two meet on the mountain alone before the set time and put the key back together. ChiAng knows BadDad will bring his thugs.

ChiAng asks BadDad to choose between him and the Chintamani key.

ShiWoo promised to catch ChiAng if his dad makes the wrong choice.

The only way to stop BadDad’s greed is to destroy the key in front of him.

ChiAng falls backward off the cliff with the key in his hand. BadDad tries to catch him and falls too. ShiWoo saves them both but his power shatters the key.

7 years later, SunA is the dean of Murim School and SoonDuk is a teacher. ShiWoo is an idol again but he does most of his composing at Murim School.

ShiWoo sends ChiAng emails every day but ChiAng doesn’t read them.

ChiAng is the director of his father’s company now and BadDad has retired to spend time with ChiAng’s mom. The company still sponsors Murim School.

ChiAng is too busy to read most of ShiWoo’s emails.

SunA and ChiAng have been dating but haven’t made it public yet. She wants to know what happened with the Chintamani?

The friends came to an agreement to get rid of the key but went to see the Chintamani for themselves first.

It’s not clear whether the Chintamani had all that power but what they saw in the stone was a reflection of themselves. They took that to mean that all the power they needed to rule their world is already inside them.

ShiWoo asked SoonDuk to marry him a while back but she put him off. It seems she wants to earn enough money to pay for the wedding herself.

They finally set a date and send out wedding invitations. SoonDuk wonders if ChiAng will come but ShiWoo is confident that he will.

When ChiAng finally comes they guys drink and reminisce together.

ShiWoo warns ChiAng to be good to his sister.

ShiWoo’s new popular song  is their story: two friends who climb a mountain, believe in each other and save each other. Shi Woo tells ChiAng to feel honored that he’s the main character in his song.

Both boys have come a long way since the day they met at Murim School.

Basically they have learned that life is full of adventures. And when they face challenges they will find the power to meet them inside themselves when they need it. They will have each other’s backs. DramaFever

ChaeYoon goes to Murim School to see his long lost daughter Young (SunA)

But ShiWoo asks him to wait until he talks with her.

ProfBub objects but ChaeYoon complies with ShiWoo’s request.

ShiWoo tells SunA that her biological dad is here to see her.

SunA is having an identity crisis so ChaeYoon is willing to wait.

Secretly ShiWoo warns ChaeYoon about BadDad and Runa is suspicious.

ChiAng warns the bad guys to keep away from SoonDuk.

DeanHwang confirms his suspicion that ShiWoo is ChaeYoon’s son.

The people who set the house on fire are also looking for ChaeYoon’s son.

One of the things SunA is concerned about is why her biological dad is with the bad guys.

ShiWoo refuses to use weapons in the competitions.

He also warns the bad teachers against using fear tactics in their training.

DeanHwang asks Chairman to set up a meeting for him with ChaeYoon.

BadDad gives ChiAng a piece of the key. The second piece is at Murim School and ShiWoo has the third piece.

ChiAng is given the task to get the other two pieces of the key.

BadDad says he wasn’t involved in the fire attack 18 years ago.

SoonDuk’s dad finally tells her the story of how he was blinded saving ShiWoo from the fire. He abandoned him because he thought he was dead.

It seem that ShiWoo and SoonDuk are seeing each other in their dreams.

SunA finally comes out of hiding and is welcomed by the other students.

With SunA back the students are ready to fight for Murim School.

SoonDuk leaves a letter explaining that SunA and ShiWoo are siblings.

ShiWoo and SunA put the pieces together and wonder why they didn’t realize their relationship sooner.

ShiWoo promises SoonDuk that he will never break up with her but wonders how he can be so sure of that.

An ambush is set up for DeanHwang and Chairman calls ChaeYoon to keep him from interfering, His call triggers a memory in ChaeYoon. Chairman was the person behind the attack on his family.

BadDad and Chairman put the ambush in motion assured that ChaeYoon will be waiting at Murim School.

But ChaeYoon has caught on to their plan and interferes in the ambush. Runa starts to stab ChaeYoon but DeanHwang takes the hit instead. ChaeYoon then stabs Runa.

DeanHwang tells ChaeYoon that both his children are waiting at Murim School.

SunA guesses that her piece of the key is hidden in the school seal.

ChaeYoon helps DeanHwang back to Murim School where another bad buy tries to stab him. ChaeYoon stops the attack with his power.

ChiAng tells ShiWoo that he put SoonDuk in danger by giving her his pendant. The pendant is that third part of the key.  DramaFever

I’ve been looking for some new dramas that are beautiful and simple enough for me to recap but I’m not finding any.

I still have a couple of episodes of Murim School to go and I like it but it’s over.

I just finished watching “I Need Romance 3″ again and it’s opposite to of “Madam Antoine” in that the guy is warm and the girl is broken. She taught him how to love as a child and he teaches her how to love when they grow up.

With “Madam Antoine” all the characters are broken. He’s a liar and she’s an actor but they finally manage to come to grips with their true feelings. “Madam Antoine” was my favorite drama of the season after “Reply 1988″

“Reply 1988″ is by far the best drama of the season and I’m not the only one who thinks so. It won all kinds of awards and elevated some kids into stardom.

“Descendants of the Sun” is beautiful and smart but war isn’t fun. I couldn’t force myself watch more that 5 minutes of it.

“Happy Ending Once Again” was beautiful and fun but tedious because of the subject matter; so I got weary before it was over.

“Come back Adjussi” is lol hilarious and pointless.

“Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-Gi” is a painful comedy of errors.

And that leaves “Goodbye Mr. Black” which I’m watching but don’t want to recap. “Five Children” is fun but I don’t recap 50 episode dramas. So I guess I’ll be back when I find a drama I’m excited about. Thanks for following me.

ChiAng asks if his mom trusts his father? Since BadDad is the only father he has there is no other choice.

DeanHwang is searching for the same things as his friend, ChaeYoon, when he learns that it is rumored that ChaeYoon is still alive.

A lot of the students have returned to Murim school with or without their parent’s consent. Shannon ran away and Jenny lied that she was going to Paris.

ChiAng finally realizes that he is not the only one who is miserable and sad.

BadDad’s company has taken over Murim School and ProfBub brings in professors who teach more violent methods based on fear.

SoonDuk promises to come back to ShiWoo no mater what.

ChiAng wants to give SoonDuk a comfortable life but will she fit into ShiWoo’s world when he goes back to being an idol?

SoonDuk doesn’t have to fit in to ShiWoo’s world because she is his world.

He tells her to keep the pendant because she is the one he wants to protect.

The legend of the Chintamani has grown way out of proportion but is it really all that? Seems like the story grows with the telling.

SoonDuk has developed a new better chicken recipe and shares with ShiWoo.

He says they can date outside of the school but she thinks it’s more like spies meeting. He promises to take her on normal dates in the future.

Because of ChiAng’s dad, DeanHwang had to leave the school but all ChiAng cares about is that he lost SoonDuk to ShiWoo.

ChiAng is starting to believe the story that the Chintamani will give him the power to get SoonDuk back along with everything else he wants.

The new teachers base their training on inspiring fear. It’s about the law of the jungle and only the strong will survive.

From now on they will use real swords and fight for their lives.

ShiWoo reminds SunA that DeanHwang said their problems are within them. So it stands to reason that the answer is inside them as well.

ProfBub says he will kick out the students that didn’t return. He wants to “normalize” the school as soon as possible.

ProfKim tells ShiWoo that the Chintamani key was broken into 3 pieces. One piece is probably in the hands of the bad guys. The other 2 were given to ChaeYoon’s son and daughter.

It’s only a matter of time before they find the key and without all three pieces if’s useless. That’s why they are trying so hard to find the missing son.

Runa is told to keep ChaeYoon away from DeanHwang at all costs.

But ChaeYoon wants to see DeanHwang to hear his side of the story.

ChiAng and ShiWoo spar and end up knocking each other to the floor. ChiAng insists that he is like his father and will do anything to get what he wants but ShiWoo doesn’t believe that.

BangDuk tries to get SoonDuk’s dad to tell her how he was blinded. She would be on his side even if he had killed someone.

ChiAng goes to see his father and stops to see SoonDuk along the way. She asks if he will be coming back and he worries that he will come back as their enemy.   DramaFever

Everything is going according to BadDad’s plan. Jung nearly beat his brother to death and ChoiHo pulled a knife on ChiAng. The competition is cancelled and parents are hurrying their kids off the premises. 

Since BadDad’s kidnapping scheme was exposed he is pointing the finger at DeanHwang. BadDad accuses DeanHwang of killing his friend and kidnapping his daughter to get the key to the Chintamani. 

DeanHwang feels guilty because he couldn’t protect his friend.

DeanHwang’s purpose for the open competition was to expose the bad guys. The sincere parents have already left with their kids.

The Murim Association lost power along with the Chintamani key and Chairman orders him to close Murim School. DeanHwang offers to leave instead.

The other teachers are troubled with the string of events.

SoonDuk tells SunA about BadDad’s accusations. SunA’s real name is Young.

SoonDuk doesn’t want to leave SunA but her dad needs her more. And ShiWoo will be staying to watch over SunA.

If SoonDuk leaves now she may not be able to return to the Murim School but ShiWoo promises to bring her back.

BadDad wonders what ChaeYoon is doing but the minions assure him ChaeYoon is clueless.

DeanHwang tells ShiWoo he has to leave for awhile but he will return.

BadDad orders ChiAng to stay at Murim School and spy for him.

SunA wants DeanHwang to tell her that the accusations are lies but he continues to keep silent.

The other professors don’t see how the school can run without DeanHwang.

DeanHwang asks ShiWoo to give SunA a picture of her family from his drawer.

ShiWoo recognizes SunA’s father in the photo and knows that he is alive.

ChaeYoon learns that it wasn’t DeanHwang that took his son. It was definitely SoonDuk’s father, DeanHwang is also looking for the same person.

The only one DeanHwang trusts with the truth of what happened is ShiWoo.

ShiWoo repeats the truth to SunA but it’s hard for her to process. ShiWoo urges her to trust the dean.

He also tells her that her biological dad is still definitely alive. He met him.

ChoiHo tells ShiWoo that the attacks on Murim School were orchestrated by ChiAng’s father. He wanted to close the school down.

ShiWoo understands why ChoiHo couldn’t follow through with the attack. When he drew the knife he saw ChiAng as a friend instead of a foe.

They will try to protect the school until DeanHwang returns.

ChiAng’s mom finally realizes that BadDad has an ulterior motive for keeping ChiAng at Murim School.

ChiAng can’t help but wonder what his dad is up to.

SoonDuk’s dad is more determined to keep her away from Murim School.

BangDuk guesses that dad’s blindness is connected to Murim School.

ProfBub is temporary dean of Murim School and plans to make some changes.

DaeHo will persuade the parents to let their kids return to the school while the other teachers continue basic classes.

SunA takes down a box and reminds herself of DeanHwang’s kindness to her.

In his search, DeanHwang hears a rumor that his friend, ChaeYoon, is still alive.

ChiAng should have suspected something when his dad offered to take his mother to the big house in China.

He is starting to believe that his dad is after the Chintamani key.  If that’s the case he will do anything to get it so they have to be careful.  DramaFever

ShiWoo is still trying to learn how to use the GiChaeSool and Sunbae tells him to think about something he wants to protect.

He tries to use the power with SoonDuk but it doesn’t work at all.

Sunbae knows that DeanHwang is watching ShiWoo for a reason.

Sunbae tries to leave Murim School without any fanfare but ShiWoo catches him. Sunbae is running away to protect his wife and child.

ShiWoo says that’s not running away. It’s choosing a different path.

Sunbae says he believes that ShiWoo can protect the ones he treasures. And why didn’t SoonDuk tell ShiWoo that Sunbae was married?

ShiWoo is worried that ChiAng will get hurt. That’s why he is practicing GiChaeSool. He hopes no one will get hurt.

It seems that everyone’s family is coming but SoonDuk and ChiAng are not certain that their families will come.

DeanHwang invites SunA on a date after the competition.

Everyone seems to think that the Chintamani is some kind of magic charm.

ChiAng thinks SoonDuk will come to him if he becomes an amazing man.

It’s finally D-Day and the protective seal is unlocked.

ChiAng wants to crush ShiWoo to pieces but ShiWoo wants to win without hurting him. But if ShiWoo wins will he lose his friend?

Jung’s brother is coming to the competition and ProfBub fans the flames of hatred between the siblings.

ChoiHo is armed with a knife and trained by the bad guys to ruin Murim School’s reputation. But when he arrives he finds that 10 students submitted applications for him. They still consider him a friend.

SoonDuk says she and ShiWoo will be rivals in the competition. ShiWoo gives her the pendant he was wearing for good luck and confesses his love.

The purpose of the open competition is supposedly to foster understanding between Murim School and the public. But DeanHwang has another motive..

The bartender ChaeYoon was looking for has been killed but a man who was there when the fire happened tells ChaeYoon about SoonDuk’s father.

The man is sorry about his part in the incident and is putting his own life on the line to help. SoonDuk’s dad rescued the son and was blinded by the thugs.

SoonDuk came back because her dream is at Murim School as well as the people she cares about. ChiAng is one of those people.

SoonDuk’s dad and ChiAng’s mother finally arrive.

ChoiHo is pitted against ChiAng and draws his knife and cuts him. But ChoiHo doesn’t have the heart to follow through and drops out of the match.

SoonDuk’s dad tries to leave but ShiWoo stops him. Dad questions ShiWoo further to confirm that ShiWoo was the child he saved from the fire.

ChiAng’s shoulder is hurt and the professors advise him to drop out of the competition. He can’t drop out because his father has come to see him.

SoonDuk recognizes her kidnappers as they come into the room.

The kidnappers are working for ChiAng’s dad and he seems to know something. Anyway SoonDuk wants to believe ChiAng since he got hurt trying to save her.

ChiAng comes up against ShiWoo and is defeated by the GiChaeSool. ShiWoo is able to release his power because of his desire to protect ChiAng. Jung loses it and nearly beats his brother to death which is what the bad guys wanted.

ChiAng bemoans the fact that ShiWoo has always defeated him without trying.

ChiAng asks his dad about the kidnapping and BadDad admits ordering it. 

He wanted to asks SunA something but the dean was protecting her. He doesn’t admit ordering them to dispose of her. BadDad tells the kids that the dean killed his best friend in order to get the key to the Chintamani. DramaFever 

DeanHwang and ShiWoo go to persuade SoonDuk’s dad to let her come back to school but he is very stubborn about it.

ShiWoo reminds SoonDuk that she promised to stay with him.

DeanHwang tells dad how SoonDuk got lost in the woods and met SunA like fate. SoonDuk was so bright and eager he couldn’t turn her away.

Dad is prejudiced against a school that teaches girls to fight and he doesn’t want his daughter mixed up with the Chintamani. How did he know about that?

It’s surprising to SoonDuk that DeanHwang is opening the seal for a competition. Is he still looking for his successor?

The power emanating from ShiWoo puts Dad on alert as ShiWoo tells him he won’t go back without SoonDuk.

Even more disturbing is ShiWoo’s story of a fire and being left in the woods since Dad is the one who left him there. A hitchhiker found ShiWoo buried in leaves and took him to an orphanage where he was adopted out.

Dad still has nightmares of that night. He was trying to find the Chintamani in hopes it could bring back his wife that just died. But he found children crying in a burning house surrounded by thugs and could only save one. When he thought the child was dead he covered him with leaves and the thugs caught up with him. They slashed his eyes and he was blinded.

Dad is planning to move SoonDuk far away to keep her from Murim School.

SoonDuk gets up early next morning and goes back to Murim School with ShiWoo. She was nervous about him going back alone.

Dad figures that she went back because of ShiWoo.

ChiAng is outside and DeanHwang asks if he is waiting for SoonDuk or ShiWoo? He is waiting for both of them.

DeanHwang brings a graduate of Murim School back to train the students for the upcoming competition.

Sunbae was the best in all the competitions and aced all the classes. All the girls had crushes on him including SoonDuk and SunA. The guys are jealous.

Sunbae goes from student to student and discloses their weaknesses.

SoonDuk has great timing, Shannon needs to focus, Jenny lacks following through, SunA needs to be more flexible, and ChiAng can’t control his strength.

The object of this competition is not to win. He tells them to learn what the real objective is as homework.

They also need to figure out how to overcome their weaknesses.

ChiAng still thinks the object is winning but ShiWoo thinks it’s the process.

Everyone was told their weakness except ShiWoo and they wonder if he has a weakness. Maybe his weakness is not having any.

DeanHwang tells ProfBub the reason for the open competition is to expose the bad guys.

ShiWoo is winning against SoonDuk without trying. Maybe his weakness is not wanting to hurt anyone.

DeanHwang tells Sunbae about ShiWoo. ShiWoo has only been in the school for a couple of months and has progressed exponentially both mentally and physically. Even his arrival at the school was strange.

ChiAng is the son of a major sponsor and DeanHwang is watching to see what he will become.

There has been some major improvements to Murim School thanks to ChiAng’s father. SunA seems to be going easy on ChiAng and Sunbae guesses that she is interested in him.

The techniques for offensive martial arts are very diverse and take a lot of energy. As long as you can read the game well you can easily win without losing energy. That’s called defensive martial arts.

ShiWoo asks if SoonDuk liked Sunbae and her answer is ambiguous.

ChiAng can’t understand why he can’t control his strength much like ShiWoo who has to learn to control the power that’s in him.

SunA thinks it’s a matter of the heart and not the head.

SunA complains that their dads don’t know how hard they are working. But they will understand someday?

Sunbae catches ShiWoo trying to channel his inner power. He wants to master the GiChaeSool. (Stopping things without touching them)

According to Sunbae, ShiWoo already knows his weakness but he has to own it.

70% of Sunbae’s winning had to do with luck and the other 30%?

When the students ask about winning he says they can use each other’s weaknesses to win. He feeds SoonDuk and egg roll and ShiWoo notices.

ChiAng is determined to win against ShiWoo even if he has to hurt him.

The GiChaeSool is a technique of using you energy to defeat opponents without having to touch them physically. But ShiWoo hasn’t gotten a handle on it.

Winning without hurting anyone is ShiWoo’s goal.

He doesn’t want to win at the expense of losing his friend either.

ChiAng stubbornly holds onto his belief that he has to win to protect the people that he cares about.

ShiWoo is relaxing on the floor but he still senses SoonDuk’s presence.

He asks her not to eat food that some other man gives her, especially egg rolls. Since it bother’s him she promises not to do it again.

Then he asks her not to get injured and she says “okay”

SunA is weak from defeating Jung and Sunbae offers the other students a chance to become #1 by defeating her when she is tired.

Nobody takes him up on it because if she loses she won’t be able to enter the competition.

The important thing in the competition is that they all win. They may know the answer but few will take it to heart.

ChiAng insists that he has to win to protect what he wants. If he holds to that belief he stands to lost himself in the process.

ShiWoo begs Sunbae to tell them how they can all win together. Everyone knows the way but very few will take it.

ShiWoo asks the dean to help him. His power isn’t a coincidence and he wants to protect people with it.

What he said was cool and Sunbae admits he was trying to sound cool. They have to work together to win together.

Murim School has more skilled students that when Sunbae was there. He might have accepted the position as successor if he had these kinds of friends.

SoonDuk’s dad and ChiAng’s mom receive invitations to the open competition. Mom says that ChiAng’s father is also planning to come.

 ShiWoo it still trying to learn GiChaeSool. Using it on SoonDuk fails but he almost succeeds when he tries it on ChiAng because he is focusing on protecting him.  DramaFever

MiMo hesitates at SooHyun’s proposal because she is afraid. 

She wants to try living together first because she has always jumped into things without giving it much thought and failed.

SooHyuk doesn’t take it as a total rejection and MinWoo comforts him.

SooHyuk returns PpoPpo and scolds MiMo for being so indecisive. What they are trying to do is hard.

Marriage is crazy, divorce shouldn’t happen, and remarriage is difficult.

Babysitter tries to get MiMo’s sympathy since she moved to Korea for SooHyuk.

MiMo can’t give up on SooHyuk either and babysitter collapses.

At the hospital MiMo sees HaeJoon and they talk.

She tells him that YeonSoo came to Brave Weddings. YeonSoo has been disappointed the the men she was matched with because she has high standards. MiMo attributes that to HaeJoon.

GeunHak and DaJung are making progress. She is recovering well from her surgery and they thank YeonSoo for her help.

DaJung just has to take good care of herself from now on.

DaJung thanks YeonSoo for her good advice. Because of her they are giving their best efforts to revive their marriage so there will be no regrets.

GeunHak offers to buy flowers for DaJung’s office but she wants a flower pot.

She wants the flowers to last a long time so she can take care of them.

DaJung tells MiMo she received a flower pot and MiMo tells her she got a proposal. But she is afraid because she values SooHyuk so much.

DaJung says MiMo has met her match if she is worrying about that. She took her previously relationship too lightly.

DongMi and JungWoo are still discussing whether to continue dating. He likes her a lot but is not ready for marriage.

AeRan says she should continue dating JungWoo and go on blind dates with men her own age. Technically it’s not cheating since she is only meeting men.

SooHyun wonders why marriage is so hard for him. HaeJoon say it’s hard for everyone. His marriage was too easy and it became tiring and hurtful.

HaeJoon married YeonSoo because he didn’t hate her but he didn’t love her either. Because of that he continues to be sorry to her.

AeRan hasn’t been growing with the industry and her styles are out of date.

SooHyuk finally persuades MiMo to keep the ring even if she is not wearing it.

GeunHak and DaJung get even closer and TaeYong is getting happier.

SooHyuk and MiMo are spending a lot of time together and he gets irritated with her sloppy habits. He even yells at her for spilling coffee in his car. He gets particularly angry when he finds a big bone under his couch. She gets angry at him and moves all her stuff back to her apartment.

It doesn’t take long for SooHyuk to apologize and she apologizes to him too.

JungWoo panics when he learns that DongMi is at another blind date party and he drags her out. Is she going to find a man her age and dump him?

He never agreed to break up and promises to do what he can in a year so they can get married. But she can’t complain if they have to live frugally.

GeunHak is tired of sending his wife to sleep in another room and tells her but she is not ready to sleep with him yet. She is shy about her altered body.

AeRan decides to go back to school since she can’t continue living on her Angel reputation. DongBae is happy about that and offers to help any way he can.

YeonSoo accepts a ring from one of the men she was matched with. He seems like a nice guy and she wants to give it a shot.

HaeJoon’s first gift to her was a tacky hairpin but it made her heart flutter. He wishes her happiness and she wishes him the same.

DaJung and GeunHak go on a double date with AeRan and DongBae for a marriage homework assignment. 

DaJung says couple camp is really working. Looking in to each others eyes is changing the way they feel about each other.

SooHyuk can’t sleep so he calls HaeJoon to meet for coffee. He is distracted and gets in an accident. HaeJoon calls MiMo and she rushes to the hospital without waiting for details.

MiMo mistakes a heavily bandages person to be SooHyun and makes all kinds of promises if he will just live.

SooHyuk and HaeJoon watch for a bit before pointing out her mistake.

MiMo is embarrassed but SooHyuk is encouraged by the incident.

MiMo quickly embraces SooHyuk and thanks him for being safe.

DaJung tells the Angels she is getting married to GeunHak again. It’s a remind wedding since they got an award for being top of their class.

DongMi has decided to not worry and enjoy the men in her life, confident that she will be happy.

With new confidence SooHyuk urges MiMo to stop making him wait.

But MiMo has a plan. She is going to make the next move.

DaJung and GeunHak waited 7 years for each other and now they are putting in the effort to find the meaning of marriage.

When the bouquet is tossed SooHyuk leaps to catch it and turns to MiMo. She kneels down and proposes to him and he eagerly accepts. Viki

MiMo and ex enter the restaurant together and when they see SooHyuk and ShiA smiling and waving they realize the they are there for the same event. ShiA says that MiMo and ex are not very close classmates.

Since they brought identical gifts they must have similar tastes so ShiA guesses they will get along in the future.

SooHyuk overhears ex on the phone saying that MiMo is his ex-wife.

HaeJoon sees one of YeonSoo’s dates bring her lunch. She gives it to the nurses since she doesn’t like sushi and HaeJoon takes note. A colleague notices that HaeJoon seems to have some affection for YeonSoo. It must be comfortable to know that she has his back.

Since SeonSoo didn’t have lunch HaeJoon brings her something she likes.

SooHyuk visits MiMo at work and Manager guesses that he is the one that swayed MiMo’s emotions.

SooHyuk has to leave for a couple of days for his job and MiMo is happy that he has one. He says he has to earn money so MinWoo won’t starve.

HyunGi takes some vacation days to accompany SooHyuk on his job.

DaJung and GeunHak have an assignment to come up with terms of endearment for each other. Manager says she and her boyfriend called each other “Hamburger” and “Pizza” because they had different tastes.

MiMo is still concerned that her ex is the fiance of SooHyun’s sister?

The theme of today’s photo shoot is “Promise” and SooHyuk takes pictures of kids playing and couples.

AeRan’s hubby is keeping his promise to be good to her and that makes her suspicious that he is cheating.

DaJung tells GeunHak about Manager’s pet names, “Hamburger” and “Pizza”, and they decide to use them. The next assignment is to go shopping together.

Ex calls MiMo to change the beneficiary on their insurance policy since he has continued paying the premium. 

DongMi gives JungWoo a letter confessing her real age and says she only lied because she wanted to be with him so much.

He catches her watching and says she must be inexperienced in relationships. That letter isn’t a breakup letter. It’s an “I like you very much” letter. He asks her to not eat his heart and run away.

SooHyun meets ex and guesses why he an MiMo broke up. Ex seems to enjoy torturing MiMo.

SooHyun gets back late and hesitates to wake MiMo. She comes out and sits in the hall in her cow pj’s and starts throwing things at his door until he comes out.

Ex tells ShiA that MiMo is his ex-wife. It’s troublesome but not fatal since she and SooHyuk are not real siblings.

SooHyuk tells MiMo that ShiA is not his real sister and she wonders why he didn’t tell her sooner. Babysitter comes and finds them hugging. SooHyuk tells MiMo that babysitter is that person’s sister.

AeRan in busted for looking through hubby’s phone when he finds pictures she accidentally took of herself. But why does he keep it locked? He says he will unlock his phone if she will unlock hers. 

MiMo returns the insurance papers with the beneficiary changes ex wanted. He wishes her happiness although he doesn’t know what kind of man SooHyuk is. She says he is different from ex who plays with a woman’s emotions. When she gets back there is a path of candles to SooHyuk’s apartment with a romantic atmosphere and he proposes. Viki

HyeRim gives SooHyun plum colored tulips for eternal love.

She is different from his mother and promises to never leave his side. When he is out of the office she writes a list of his endearing characteristics. So I guess she does remember the good things he did whatever the motive.

She coaxes him to eat porridge like she would do with a child.

SooHyun tells Chairman he is putting the experiment on hold. There may be an issue with his hypothesis.

Since Chairman invested a lot in the experiment HyeRim coaches him about what to do. He should deal with the damage on a company-wide scale and give SooHyun a good scolding.

HyeRim tries to counsel SooHyun with methods he knows better than her.

At least she helps him diagnose himself. He knows the answers but doesn’t apply them to himself.

In their haste to get away from HyeRim, YooRim and JiHo left things behind.

YooRim goes back to the cafe to get the things they left behind and SungChan calls HyeRim.

HyeRim follows YooRim to where they are staying.

She is trying to keep them from suffering the same fate she did. YooRim says she is pregnant and HyeRim beats on JiHo.

SungChan persuades MiRan to go for a checkup. The cancer has spread to her liver but she still has a 30% chance of recovery if she gets treatment.

HyeRim follows SooHyun’s example and searches his apartment to learn more about him. She misunderstands everything she finds.

 SooHyun doesn’t understand why HyeRIm was snooping around his room.

She is jealous of Claire since she found a picture of her and SooHyun together.

Everything she found was either for her or for a case he was working on.

SooHyun clearly deals with the misunderstandings but doesn’t clearly address the issue of Claire.

YooRim and JiHo come back and HyeRim already has a whole agenda prepared for her supposedly pregnant sister. When YooRim confesses that she lied, all HyeRim can do is laugh.

SooHyun has dinner with his father and brother. Turns out that the real issue of his trauma is his father but he he blames his mother for not taking him away. BadDad hated SooHyun because of what his mother did. At least SooHyun vents on the old man and gets it off his chest. SooHyun made his own way without any support from his father and studied abroad to get away.

SungChan scolds SooHyun. Maybe BadDad did abuse him but SooHyun is the one that built the walls to shut everyone out.

HyeRim asks MiRan for advice. SooHyun is treating the counseling like it’s someone else and he is a spectator. She has to get him on stage.

HyeRim takes SooHyun to his elementary school where the family photo was taken. She still needs to get a reaction from him.

She shows him the photo again and asks him to remember how he felt.

He felt hated and abandoned as BadDad kept comparing him to his mother in a bad way. So he he stayed behind and played alone.

HyeRim tells SooHyun that he is the only one that can comfort that child.

SooHyun finally persuades MiRan to get surgery and treatment for the cancer by saying he wants to be with her a long time.

YooRim and JiHo come up with and intelligent 10 year plan.

They plan to announce their engagement in the cafe next month and get married in 3 years. In the meantime they will save money. JiHo plans to support YooRim until she becomes a famous documentarian.

HyeRim asks when the parents will be meeting. That’s the first step. They have her blessing and YooRim hugs her.

SungChan apologizes for defending BadDad. He knows how badly SooHyun was treated but couldn’t do anything about it.

It’s SooHyun’s birthday and they have a cake fight. SooHyun’s mother calls HyeRIm since she is leaving. She asks HyeRim to tell SooHyun she loves him.  He goes to the hotel but when he hears her talking to her other son he leaves.

HyeRIm remembers that SooHyun’s trauma was connected to his birthday. 

She calls Mom and asks her not to leave yet. Mom postpones her flight to find out what HyeRim was talking about. 

Mom goes to wish SooHyun a happy birthday and he is touched.

He finally tells her all the pain he went through thinking it was his fault she left.

How could she leave him with such a terrible father. She was kicked out with nothing and BadDad got custody. She made another family but he had nobody.

SooHyun was the only one left with no one on his side. Mom promises to be on his side from now own and they cry on each other’s shoulders.

MiRan is getting chemo and SungChan comes to cheer her up. He makes sure that she has something to live for.

Chairman learns that HyeRIm and SooHyun are dating and is concerned.

He was a jerk but she is helping him recover and guesses he is confident that he can love now. He is excessively attentive

SooHyun is working with Claire again and HyeRim runs away when she sees them. Actually Claire is leaving and SooHyun is taking her to the airport.

HyeRim cries on YooRim’s shoulder that SooHyun might be leaving her.

SooHyun decides to do the third experiment and sends HyeRim a ticket to a movie “Love Isn’t Something You Do Alone”

When she gets there SooHyun is on stage reenacting a scene from one of HyeRim’s favorite movies. He confesses that she is the one who healed his scars and made him self reflect and feel that he should change. He confesses “I love you Ms HyeRim.” and calls her to come up on stage. Everyone applauds.

She rushes him off the stage. He proudly tells her that he did Task 3 for her without caring about what people think to prove that he has completely fallen in love with her. She starts to object and he kisses her. DramaFever

SooHyun got what he expected. HyeRim is leaving him just like his mother did. He thinks he is to blame and is trying to get rid of the guilt with his experiment.

YooRim warms shivering JiHo with her body.

SooHyun comes in and they quickly get up but he is only thinking about his pain.

Chairman calls HyeRim and SooHyun for counsel about the man who wants to marry his daughter. HyeRim says he seems like a nice guy but SooHyun gives an opposing point of view.

Chairman decides to consider both their opinions and meet the guy himself.

He asks HyeRim to go with him to meet the guy but she tells him she is leaving, probably for good. But he can call her if he needs her.

SooHyun doesn’t come into work and JiHo calls and tells him the HyeRim has packed and is leaving. He gets into his car and tries to get to the bus station but her bus has already left.

MiRan shows SungChan what she has learned on the piano and they play chopsticks together.

SungChan takes MiRan for a walk on the beach and they talk about watching the auroras in Alaska.

YooRim goes to visit HyeRim and tells him the SooHyun is totally out of it.

He gets a puppy and names it HyeRim hoping it won’t ever leave him.

SungChan brings MiRan back to the clinic and SooHyun lies about his condition.

MiRan worries that suppressing his feelings will cause him to implode.

SooHyun takes puppy HyeRim to see HyeRim at her new workplace.

It’s after midnight but he asks HyeRim to tell his future. He knows she is fake but she has good intuition.

HyeRim knows how he is feeling but plans on finding a man opposite of him.

SooHyun’s mom asks to see him one last time and her vents on her. She is admits cheating on his dad and abandoning him because she lost custody. She doesn’t even remember saying the words that became a trigger to his pain.

MiRan goes to see HyeRim out of concern for SooHyun. She may have been hurt but she hurt him too.

The experiment is only a defense mechanism. 

MiRan explains the meaning behind the tulips. SooHyun has a superstition that purple means their love won’t last but plum stands for everlasting love.

He tried to quit the experiment several times but the cost was too high. He would have lost credibility and funding if he quit.

SooHyun hasn’t eaten or slept for days even after taking 3 sleeping pills.

He takes puppy HyeRim out for a walk and notices a paper airplane that fell from the top of a building. He goes to the top and stands on the ledge. Maybe if he jumps he will be free.

SungChan sees SooHyun and stops him from jumping. Then he calls HyeRim and tells her about the near suicide. He is also starting the experiment again.

HyeRim decides to come back and suffer the consequences even if she breaks.

HyeRim meets the next experiment subject and tells her what it’s all about.

When SooHyun comes to meet the new potential victim HyeRIm is waiting.

She came back for a project to revitalize him. She brings him porridge and coaxes him to eat it like she would a child. He resists and she asks if he wants her to leave again? He doesn’t.

She sets him up with Twitter account and tells him to write about their relationship. The user name is “I love HyeRim” and the password is her birthday.

SooHyun has had enough for the day and she agrees to start phase 2 tomorrow.

SungChan takes MiRan clubbing and teaches her how to dance.

JiHo proposes to YooRim with the drone she won with the pictures she took of him and she accepts his proposal.

HyeRim can’t believe they are considering marriage when they have only been dating for 2 weeks even though they have known each other longer. 

YooRim has to leave if she accepts the proposal. She and JiHo add their resources and have enough to live on for 6 months. She leaves a note for HyeRIm that she is going to live with JiHo.

HyeRim gives SooHyun a childhood picture and tells him to look at it to reclaim his lost childhood. He knows that technique but has never tried it.

The picture triggers the abandonment memories and he can’t go any farther. SooHyun knows a lot of techniques that could help but never tried them.

SungChan and MiRan sit outside looking for shooting stars but it’s a bit cloudy. What if it’s cloudy when they go to Alaska to see the Northern Lights? She winces in pain and he urges her to get the thyroid surgery. When she realizes he knows about the cancer she turns away and says she will take care of it.

HyeRim asks what SooHyun hopes to gain by proving that true love doesn’t exist? (I guess it makes about as much sense as a lot of other stupid psychological theories) 

SooHyun admits that he wasn’t loved as a child so if he can prove that love doesn’t exist the abandonment would make sense to him.

At least he is aware of his flawed motives. Still its just a wall he is erecting so that he won’t feel pain. What he really wants is to be loved. She gives him plum tulips and promises to stay by his side. DramaFever
