Ron Kamonohashi's forbidden deductions ended, It's quite sad that their reunion was poorly done, I mean, in the manga, Ron doesn't really acknowledge Toto that much as for Toto he didn't have any development.
During the past chapters, Toto felt worthless and not good enough to solve cases with Ron. He doubted himself and believed that Ron would be better off without him !
In my opinion, before Toto went after Alice, they should have had an argument, where Toto finally lashes out while Ron begins to see how he took Toto for granted.
When Totomaru comes back alive and well, Ron cries his eyes out, relief flooding in, telling Toto that, in fact, he needs him and that he is valuable.
Then cue to them on the cafe where Toto explains to Ron how he survived.
In the anime, their relationship and emotional bond were tremendously well written, whether it was the interactions or dialogues.
But in the end, none of them were killed off, at least that a win.
Suo hayato is a strange, eery character, his entire persona is made up on these things.
Suo's past is shrouded in mystery, but through this post, we shall disclose and theorise about him.
First and foremost, why doesn't he eat with others, I have seen many assume it was due to a strict diet and him feeling shame eating, but I think otherwise, in fact, the reason he does not eat among others is simply by principle and fear, fear of what ? Fear of being poisoned, why ? Well, that leads us to the second point.
Suo is a member of highly known family, which business is most likely shady, not only he is a member but he is their Heir, which explains why he was trained to conceal his emotions and not to eat among others.
His family's criminal demeanors will certainly disturb Makochi's tranquility and they will go against Bofurin, thus he will have to chose a side, which will lead to him fighting Sakura and eventually Sakura bringing sense back to him during the fight.
That would also explain why he is so resigned to fight Sakura. He will probably try to give up everything, and Sakura will relate to him and try to persuade him not to give up and that he has a choice.
And finally, his eyepatch, why is Suo Hayato wearing an eyepatch, I have two takes on this :
The first one is the following, he also has heterochromia like Sakura, but it doesn't stand well with his family, so he is forced to wear one.
The second is that during his childhood, there was incident where he and his brother were targeted, and during the fight, he got heavily injured and either lost his eye or it got scarred and he can no longer see.
In conclusion, Suo Hayato will have an important role, especially toward the manga finale, he will be Sakura's greatest rival, simply because he will become a Traitor and he knows it, and he WILL face off Haruka.
Thank you for reading this post, and do not hesitate to share your opinions along with theories...

Truth to be said, many describe the devil judge as a misogynistic series since most of its female characters were... well disposed of.
Needless to say, two of the which said characters happened to be antagonists, and as we all know in most fiction, villains are meant to be killed for the greater good. It's either them or the hero, one or the other but not together. It is, unfortunately/ fortunately, this way that antagonists are handled. Gender in these cases hardly matters.
Jung Sunah, indeed, had a difficult past, but that does not excuse her actions (not against the past foundation chairman, of course), such as K's murder and for instance Soohyun getting shot.
As for Minister Cha, she was a despicable person who didn't hesitate to litteraly walk on others to achieve her schemes.
Both of them were extremely interesting, cunning intelligent villains, and in no way would they have agreed to be arrested or go to jail. They preferred to end it before they even got there. Their entire character is shown through their endings. No one gets to get rid of them except themselves.
And now, many, countless of persons who have watched the devil judge, felt that Soohyun deserved to live, she maybe did, it would have been better for her to live on and for Gaon to tell her how he really feels about her, (in a friendly manner) she deserved to live her life and see past Gaon, she dedicated her entire life to him, that's probably why she felt content by getting shot instead of him.
Soohyun, Jung Sunah, Minister Cha's personas are not only written for female characters, in general, when it comes to authoritarian figures and lovestruck childhood friend of the main lead in the drama, they are constantly portrayed by male actors, the author said it himself, he didn't let gender stereotypes influence him during the creation of the characters.
Well then, in hopes you enjoyed reading this post.
While rewatching tdj, I remembered something during the 4th episode where Elijah and Gaon are discussing, he is checking on Kkomi's paw and Elijah says that normally she is very wary of strangers, then she tells him that Yohan bought him from the streets just like he did to Kkomi to which Gaon is surprised and responds by saying he thought she was an expensive breed.
And ding ding ! That's where I understood, Kang "I'm freaking suspicious" Yohan only told Elijah so she would not think he cared too much about her, and that worked ! Because in fact, he adopted Kkomi and didn't just find her in the street. (He probably read on a book that animals, especially cats, were good for teens as they grew up or something like that.)
He did so for his niece to have a companion a confident so as not to feel alone !
Ahhh, Kang Yohan, you and your emotionally clumsy and awkward parenting approaches !
Also, he seriously reminds me of Bruce Wayne as for Kim Gaon he is kind of like Clark Kent and Ellijah, maybe Cassandra or Jason,NO, NO WAIT SHE IS LIKE DAMIEN !!
I'm not too sure... Oh, and Nanny Ji is obviously Alfred.
I found this on my drafts so why not publish it ? :
Wait wait hold on... I think I understood something,
So we know that in Tdj Isaac gave the cross necklace to Yohan as a promise he won't hurt more "innocents" but it was stolen by Sunah and then after he retrieved it, he gave it to her in order to manipulate her.
But afterward she threw it out and at this moment he woke up from a nightmare about the fire and went to the window and in this plan they show the cross that is engraved in his back, so my theory is what if the object of the promise isn't the necklass anymore but the litteral CROSS that is scarred on his back, it's a reminder of his painful Past and the promise he made to his brother.

Nowadays I have seen that many persons got into The devil judge and I'm quite satisfied by it since the drama is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
Moreover, I have seen that some people tend to overly critisize Kim Gaon's persona without actually understanding it.
So I came here to clarify some things and to explain his character.
First of all, some viewers tend to hate him because of his indecison, which is quite understandable but we should also take in consideration the fact that Kang Yohan was quite using the "I'm suspicious" card so it was difficult for Kim Gaon to actually side with him without knowing his true motives.
Afterward, we can all agree that the persons that made him doubt the most Kang Yohan were his only "family" Soohyun his best friend that he trusts more than anyone and the traitor professor that was like his father figure. So yes, they were the ONES that manipulated him and made him believe in a justice that once wronged him, they were his "moral compasses", with them he repressed himself and became the good Kim Gaon the hero that believes "in" justice, alike a robot.
In comparison when with Kang Yohan he could finally express his feelings, be honest about himself, slowly turn into a morally grey character that was hidden beneath a mask of fake happiness, and this, scared him.
And finally, since he became aware of his true self, and the strings with what Sooohyun and the professor held him were finally cut, he was afraid. Kang Yohan showed the real world, the truth. And he couldn't accept it because all he had was that little ray of hope that he was holding on, the one that justice is fair, it was the last straw that helped him to stay "normal" so that's why he decided to move away from the abyss Kang Yohan and to keep in denial about his true self, we could see this on episode 12 when Soohyun "saved" him and with that he felt indebted to her and guilty so he decided to make her happy by reciprocating her feelings. Do you think that if SHE TOLD HIM that it was KANG YOHAN that actually called and SAVED him, that he would still try to lie to himself ? Do you think that if he knew that his professor was a traitor would he still hide behind normalcy ?
The real Kim Gaon is litteraly ready to BLOW himself up twice for the persons he believes in, here Kang Yohan.
While for Soohyun he was "ready" to kill someone not himself. Even when he was going to blow himself with the professor and he told him that it was his "attonement for Soohyun",he didn't do it why ? Because Kang Yohan was alive so he was relieved and happy.
So if it wasn't for Jung Sunah that used him as a pawn, the constent doubts that the professor and Soohyun kept sowing into his mind, he would have willingly sided with Kang Yohan.
Okay, Lawful Fandom. I don’t know about you, but @madforjisung and me really want to see TDJ having the recognition it deserves and get a second season out of it to see Gaon, Yohan and Elijah again. The writer said he has plans for a second season but only if there’s enough fans that like it.
The first step is bringing more audience and attention to the series. How can we do that?
Requesting it on Netflix:
If you or someone you know has a Netflix account (you can get the one month free trial too) click on this link, type “The Devil Judge (악마판사) by tvN” and hit the red button. There’s no need to do it more than once because Netflix tracks requests from individual members and consider multiple requests of the same title from the same member as a single request.
Alternatively you can just google “Netflix Title Request” and click on the first link or log in to the account, navigate to the Help Center and follow the link to suggest titles.
Spreading the word:
Reblog or like this post, ask people to request the title on Netflix in comments sections on YT, twitter, review sites about the drama, etc.
Well I have been rewatching TDJ and I found something really interresing.
I think we all know that after the fire Yohan made some renovations in the house, first of all an elevator for Ellijah's comfort so she could acess to all the mansion.
He also removed some of the old furnitures.
And he made the living room his study
as we can see here :
But with all the money he inherited why didn't he buy a new house, why did he decide to live in a place where he for most of the time suffered ?
Aside from this point, even though we know that the mansion has many rooms in it, and that Yohan was living in the basement, why out of all the rooms that were available in the mansion after the incident,he has chosen his "father's" old office were he was beaten to be his room ?
All of Kang Yohan's actions has meanings, because he doesn't do something without a reason.
Maybe he wanted to stay in the character of "I'm suspicious and cruel" in front of the people that know the background of this place, ms.ji and probably his niece.
But my theory is that in order to nourish a vengeance, you need a lot of hatred, and this hatred where could he find it except in the place he suffered the most ?
The place where he was mistreated and beaten where he felt only fear and pain in this case his "father's" office, the negative energy that reigns in this room is an inexhaustible source of hatred, animosity, revulsion, detestation and so on for his revenge.

Part 2 of my The Devil Judge intro analysis. Warning: ⚠️ long post ⚠️
My English isn't great, but I'll try to explain this as comprehensible as possible.
PART 1 | [PART 2]
5️⃣ "There's no justice in real life. There's only a game, a dreadful, unjust game" - Kang Yohan.
Now from the previous parts of the intro we know that The Devil Judge is set in a dystopia SK where everything was in chaos and the government wasn't being reliable. Yohan was the main character so what role did he play in the story? Inside the two statues of Lady Justice is the image of Yohan standing in his courtroom with "showman-mode ON" and playing his "game", the next shot is the same statues but with the words NO JUSTICE inside. This is basically what he believed and did in the drama. He realized that the rotten judiciary wouldn't give people the justice they deserved so he turned his live court into a game that he had made sure to win even before it began, and justice, as well as revenge, were the prize for the winner.
6️⃣ This last part is so important to me it makes me go feral every single time. This is where my Gahan-shipper heart takes control so if you're not into that, you can stop reading here.
Someone on Twitter pointed out that the composition here is very similar to that of Beauty and the Beast live action poster.
While it's an interesting coincidence since writer Moon also said BATB was one of the works he took inspiration from, the composition itself carries a meaning which both BATB and TDJ used: to emphasize that one important person *cough* love interest *cough* in the characters' heart. The two characters facing opposite directions hints the differences between them, as well as the "monster vs human" narrative. Well, don't people usually say "opposite attracts"? In the drama we see Yohan and Gaon clash due to opposite worldviews, they defy each other's beliefs and by doing so they found what they've been missing from each other. We know Gaon is a symbolism for light. He's not only the light of a dark dystopian world but also the light in Yohan's heart that shines through Yohan's cold darkness and ignites the fire in his soul (cue the fire surrounding Gaon). Fire has long been widely recognized as a symbol of love. It's the passionate kind that can burn. It left a scar on Yohan's left hand and made him be willing to die for Gaon. And for Gaon, although not shown here, we know Yohan gave Gaon the freedom to embrace his darkness, to make choices. For these reasons, they keep gravitating towards each other, especially Yohan, hinted here by showing a Yohan in blue, appears from within the Yohan in red and he's turning his head around. If you notice, the fire doesn't start until blue Yohan appears. Blue Yohan is that more peaceful side of him which he has forgotten, now reappears and that part of him long to be with Gaon.
Now if you look to the left corner, you'll notice two cars running side by side with each other and again, this is from the car chase scene in ep2.
It's just them on the road, their light unites and light up the dark road in front of them. It's interesting how they chose this particular scene instead of anything else. One can argue that it's for the sake of composition, but at this point we've gone through most of the intro and come to realize that "everything is there for a reason", therefore the parallel cars aren't an exception. In the previous part of this analysis, I mentioned how this car chase scene could be seen as a symbolism for Yohan and Gaon's relationship dynamic. This scene in context is basically Yohan "the hunter" chasing his "prey". However, the reason why Yohan "chases" Gaon is because he wants Gaon to be by his side. And so Gaon does. Together they fight the corrupted world, chase away the darkness around them. But one thing about this is that, after they pass, everything behind them is dark again. This reminds me of what Gaon realizes at the end of ep16: "It's all the same, nothing changed." Writer Moon said "the world doesn't change so easily". The symbolism is amazing, it's something you won't easily catch without watching the entire drama.
Another thing I think this scene symbolizes is Gaon is Yohan's equal. I know this topic is somewhat debatable but personally I think their power dynamic gradually becomes more balanced as the drama progresses and it reaches an equilibrium in ep12 when Yohan says he doesn't care if humanity falls as long as he has Gaon and Elijah. (Other POVs on this topic are much welcomed, I'd love to read them.)
Last scene of the intro, my ultimate favorite (because it looks so dope with the reverberated ending notes of He Is The Abyss 🔥). The bright lines and the cars (which I recognize are from the beginning on ep1 where Yohan is driving to the Foundation's gala, the night the story begins) guide your focus to Yohan standing in the middle and make the layout look less empty. The fire surrounding Yohan (the flame on his back is shaped like devil wings to me), keeps on burning, and inside him is a silhouette of Gaon walking down the court hall (fyi, it's a scene from this trailer) and being him there a bright light in yellow. The usual blue that pairs with Gaon's yellow has been replaced with the purple that was previously used in Gyu-young's title card. As I said in my previous analysis, purple is a color of sensitivity and mental stability. Nevertheless, purple can represent arrogance, immaturity and intuition. Gaon becomes Yohan's support system, the light Yohan has found, the one he can be comfortable with. How about Gaon's brash and naive side? I think that's a fact everyone knows already.
One thing is, while I look at this last gif, another character comes to my mind: Kang Isaac. Writer Moon said in his interview that similar to how Soohyun was to Gaon, Isaac was Yohan's moral anchor and support system. Isaac helped him hold on to his life, even after death. After the church fire, Yohan has been tormented by Isaac's unfair death, and what happened to his family in that fire fueled his 10-year plan to wipe out the evil caucus - the very reason he became the "Devil Judge".
---------------------------
That's it for my analysis, I hope this makes sense to you 😅. Thank you for reading!
Am I the only one who is disappointed by the ghost doctor's ending, honestly it's great that he woke up and could remember all of his ghost life memories, but the point that I disliked was the fact that his relationship with Sejin feels forced there wasn't any chemistry between them.
I don't know it just didn't feel right, I would have loved a more open ending just like the devil judge.
Moreover it's still a good drama even though the ending was rushed in my opinion.
What was your opinion on the ghost doctor's ending?
