You know I prayed for you. I begged the universe to shuffle you back into my reality. I was granted the favor and of course I’m thankful, but you came back a stranger. Filled with misery and a reluctance to happiness. And as much as my heart pleads for you and my mind loses sleep to you, I will not tolerate your disdain. Your push and pull makes me dizzy. It eats away at me. Splits me in two, I’m having arguments with myself over you. And I’m tired of it, exhausted and done with your childish fits. I begged and prayed to see your face again, to meet your gaze again, to touch your skin once more and in turn I was granted the closure I finally needed to get away from the illusion I had once created of you.
