one thing i like to remember for possible evil kumugi aus, is that her backstory could so easily be a villain backstory
let’s list it: worse at magic than an older sibling, the one time she tries she nearly kills said older sibling, parents neglect her for it and the sibling pushes her around as almost a “deserved” punishment
alternative universe where kumugi proceeds to study magic more and slowly gets a bit psychotic when she experiences more and more dangerous magiks
wait i also have another idea for how this can happen
she acquires hakari earlier in canon (likely before ichi meets her/dess) or gets adopted into their weird castle thing and slowly proves herself to be a good witch for them specifically
kumugi running away and getting raised by a human hater would be interesting, especially since they would be unable to really use her small amount of magic to power the castle

Rill is also out love u pookie please take an Adderall. Dorothy is out because she IS the squad. I’m also knocking out Nozel on the grounds that he’s always trying to kill himself. William is [REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED] the elf, so he is also out. Competent? Yes. Wrong direction tho.
So, we’re left with Yami, Mereoleona, Fuegoleon, Charlotte, and Kaiser.
I left Charlotte in up until this point because of wishful thinking, however unfortunately Tabata still refuses to email @/wildflowerwoodsworld their apology so she’s out. She is very competent. We were robbed of her being MORE competent.
Yami, Fuegoleon, Mereoleona, and Kaiser.
Kaiser managed to take Criminal Brooklyn 99 and turn it into something that resembles a competent squad. He also isn’t there by choice. Kaiser’s out.
The siblings I would say are equally competent in different ways. Fuegoleon is really, REALLY good, but I don’t think he would be capable of making a squad like the BBs. To be fair, Yami would be incapable of making the CLK, but like. who saved the world, yk. Mereo probably could make both, but she also doesn’t really give a shit (/aff), so it’s tricky.
Yami could theoretically take it, less because he’s created a conventionally competent squad and more because he created the squad the kingdom needed and manages it about as well as you’re going to be able to manage a squad like that. Ultimately I think it’s an impossible tossup between Fuegoleon, Mereo, and Yami. I’m going to vote Yami because between (conventional) (unconventional) and (unconventional), he manages the MOST success. However, he also does not do his paperwork. So it’s really up to the metric unfortunately :(
If it’s about conventional competence, Fuegoleon def takes it tho.

We don't actually see any of the beurocracy of the kingdom. As evidenced by Damnatio and the court, there's a whole other power system we're not privy too, presumably they keep the kingdom running

id like to say that we haven’t been introduced to ms T in twst canon as the time of me writing this

She's an orphan raise as an assassin in the Al-Kamar orphanage(the name sound sorta similar to a village in Iran) alongside her mean bros. Also has something of a moon theme going on which is partially related to her powers
i wanted to keep the clunky look of the jacket and weird legging things, since astronauts have super bulky clothes
the shirt is based on the shirt the guy in the chair is wearing, just as a turtleneck (because i LOVE big pants + sleek shirt)
her jacket now has small star charms on the wrist cuffs to add more space theming
her old weird lingerie thing i made into more of a belt, where she can put weapons, anything she might need to carry close so she can grab it instantly

one hc that i subscribe to is that if anita and roger were part of the descendants universe then they would have adopted carlos the second they found out cruella had a kid
