Sun City - In My Skin Again (Dance,Disco,House,Tropical)

Sun City is duo group Tobes and Macka. Two Men with warm glowing tans that are so befitting of their hometown of  Perth, Western Australia. Sun City’s complexion isn’t the only shinning attribute  of these two men. Sun City just released the third single “In My Skin Again” from their upcoming EP “Daytona”. This Aussie Duo has created a  wave of several sounds in to one Disco, House, and Tropical ocean that makes our hearts swim and body float with pleasure with their latest track “ In My Skin Again”. Sun City’s track “In My Skin Again” has up tempo house clap synths, house piano cords, tropical life like maraca synths, and the very disco vocals and intro that makes us get off our booties and on to the dance floor. The track also has great transitions starting at smooth disco to funky house beats. Sun City will shine some light on what ever kind of day you’re having just listen take a listen to their track “In My Skin Again” and instantly your day will be a little brighter.

ORENA - JANÖ (Electronic, Dance, Pop)

SORENA  is a producer/DJ from Montreal, Canada. This mysterious new talent has caught our ear with his first single “JANÖ”,and with it’s sensitizing yet dark futuristic sound that not  only would be a perfect accompany to any scene from the movie “Tron”, but will also transform any scenery to a epic dance and neon light flashing party.Needless to say, that SORENA’s Epic single “JANÖ” has caught our ears and our Imagination,and we can’t wait to see what other tantalizing stories he has in store for us. Only one can imagine, any new sounds will hopefully continue his theme of 80′s cars, Red lights, and late nights.

Thanks to this man for sending some Sunshine and love during this freezing California winter, and his music warms up not only our faces,that are in dire need of a tan, but also our hearts. Sydney,Australia producer POOLCLVB has just released the second single  “You Give Me Love” from his forthcoming EP 'You + Me' on EtcEtc Records. POOLCLVB’s newest track “You Give Me Love” does what it says “ Gives whole bunch of feelings”.But, not only does POOLCLVB’s track “You Give Me Love” satisfy our longing for summer to come with its sultry vocal intro, bouncy house cords, and the very summery synths like the maracas, an R&B open clap for the base kick, and the surprising disco keys solo that really gives this track a unique edge. POOlClVB’s track “You Give Me Love” is more than just a  house anthem,but really a track of it’s own genre that combines several types of genres into one that to us is like heaven to our ears. POOLCLVB is more than a fitting name for this artist, which makes everyone want to join.

Take Your Time - “Sleep In” ( Indie Pop)

Coming all the way from  Sunny Melbourne,Australia are Boy and girl Duo called  “Take Your Time”.They might be new comers to the scene but the duo is already signed to a Melbourne Record Label called “Neat Lawn”,which has sincere ideals that they hope their signed artist will convey, which is to emphasis on community, independence and identity. The duo “Take your time” does exactly that with their new Single “ Sleep In” that was Released by Neat Lawn records,which have simplistic lyrics like “ Its gonna happen soon, it will come to you”, conveys a broad message of hope and Strong will, that as of  this past U.S.A presidential election we need all the hope and Strong will we can get. The duo’s track “Sleep In” intro first gives you a glimpse of a house song with a fast tempo high hate and kick drum that smoothly transition to this rhythmic  synth snare drum and piano  solo that is perfectly ended with the chorus that makes you feel like one day all your dreams, the things that you ever wanted and worked so hard for will all come to you. Take Your Time’s single “Sleep In” was released at just the right time and should be anyone’s anthem if your feeling like life isn’t treating you right or fair, or when the saying “Bad things happen to good people” could be used, just put this song on and the reasons to continue will flood your conscious. This track was a treat to hear and write about because there is no limit to uplifting and of good encouragements.

Alex Frankel - Negative Space ( Dance/electronic) Alex Frankel is a producer/musician based in New York City, and is one half of Holy Ghost. Frankel has just dropped his solo debut EP " Negative Space". This 4 track EP consist of 80's styled backtracking that one could imagine to hear on a retro Romance or present day movie. Frankel"s EP "Negative Space" is a diamond in the Ruff with only having less than 300 followers on Sound cloud, I was shocked not more ears have uncovered these jewels of songs that are so rare to hear. Frankel's EP "Negative Space" Definitely makes impression on your heart, especially the titled track   "Negative Space" that  conveys the whole vibe of the EP. The track "Negative space" captures  a romance that happens in secrete, but will only ever be what it first started as, a deep dark secret. Frankel's Lyrics are simple but true. He captures the thoughts that we secretly ponder to our selves. The title track "Negative Space" lyric's and beat's compliment each so well that the keyboard synths, Drum loops, and  guitar rifts that volume wise are balanced,  will be a delight to your ears, but also with out notice feelings from past loves arise that makes you relive all the times of negative space you  and your love one once had. BoysGetHurt - “Suddenly” Ft. Polvo Disco ( Pop)

And,non other than DJ/Producer Yuki, originating from East Tokyo Japan, has created another “Don’t Go Summer” Single. Yuki is an artist I always keep and ear out for. Yuki’s music always delivers relief from any summertime blues to winter regrets. Yuki’s single “Suddenly” Ft. Polvo Disco, which is Producer/musician   Alexander Longstaff an upcoming artists, and who is based in Auckland, New Zealand, Longstaff vocals and lyrics  are ever so lightly a dash of summertime envy. Yuki’s and Longstaff’s Single “Suddnely, has a ambient beat that makes you feel like  bicoastal waves are at your feet. Yuki’s and Longstaff’s s track has a airiness and minimalistic pop sound at first.But, through out the track distinctive synths periodically create the “Summertime envy” vibe, which are the Cowbell that gives the track life like textures, and of course the light 808 beats that unknowing give this track a more than Pop/ambient sound, but intertwines Hip Hop as well. I can’t wait to see what other creations this well suited duo will surprise our ears with. 

Liyv  - Your Not Going to Ruin My Life ( Pastel Pop)

Liyv’s unique and obscure sound to say the least, is something definitely my work plant would be dancing too. Livy is a Singer/songwriter/Pianist, and is a native from settle,Washington.This monochromatic and  Minimalistic  artist is working on her “One Song a Month” project.Also, Liyv is working on a EP and Album. Liyv’s eighth track from her “One Song a Month” project is called “Your Not Going to Ruin My Life”  caught my attention with its effortless, yet well worked song format that is just the right amount  of minimal airiness with Liyv’s soft and striking vocals.And, Livy is more than comfortable with her midi controller that she adds the cherry on top of synths/reverb, which is effortlessly queued during the song that is delicious treat for my ears. Liyv’s sound that is evolving as we speak, is a fresh take on a minimalistic Pop that in her own right she attains the “I Got  You!” balance with very few instrumentals. But, Oh,  she does it so well. And, LET THE PlANT PARTY BEGIN!

Sam Padrul - Hold on Me (Funky Pop)

Sam Padrul is a producer/Keyboardist based in Chicago, IL, and has been in the music scene since 2011.  Padrul Captures the perfect essence of 80′s Pop, but with a touch of funk mixed within each of his tracks.  Padrul has a few singles under his belt, but I’m sure he loosens it a notch or two. Especially to create his newest Single “Hold on Me” that has a classic 80′s Pop Rock sound that is not easily perfected, but with padurl’s mixture of calm and contemporary vocals that are not over done or gimmicky. To top off the single “Hold on Me” has a great mixture between old and new synths like the 80′s sounding guitar and keyboards, yet in the middle transition that has a rewinding synth that sets the tone for more contemporary guitar and keyboards. This mixture between the Old and new is effortless and is done with such care that makes you feel like your in one the scenes of  “Fast Times at RidgeMont High”, and like Jeff Spicoli Said “all I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine. ...”, and all we need is this single playing in the background. NO WAY BACK- HONEY (House)

NO WAY BACK is a mysterious new comer, but sounds like a more than already greased old timer that knows their way around the dance floor, alright.  NWB for short, has been in  the House music game since 2014, and is based in La. NWB only has a few singles out, yet with less than 3k followers on Soundcloud NWB Single “HONEY” which is a remake of Mariah Carey’s “Honey” has over 89k plays. You can hardly tell that this single is a remake, and just goes to shows you how talented this mysterious new comer is and can be! NWB single “HONEY” is more than perfect anthem to any summer flings and love dazed girls could want. Having Mariah Carey Vocals an octave down, and of course the amazing mixture between the uptempo House piano and R&B 90′s Synths, which NWB has a perfectly and uniquely intertwined old school and the new to create something familiar, but in their own right their sound and cover art is new, refreshing and definitely unexpected delight!

Stefan - Take Control (Indie,House, Neofuture)

Stefan is duo group with  producer/DJ/model Stefan J Selbert and producer Max that are based in Santa Cruz, Ca.  Stefan, Max  and fellow friend Andrea Sarah are the Founders of NeoFuture Records. This duo might be very new to the music scene but their talent is not.  Stefan’s track “Take Control” is on non stop repeat on my playlist with it’s sexy vibes, sultry vocals, and perfect balance of Indie and House.  Stefan’s vocals remind me of the band  Solar Fenech but with very modern fresh youthful tone and more House vibe.  The duo’s track  “Take Control” makes you feel like you might meet your summer fling when you hear it. Stefan is a rising talent with their unique sound and vocals there is no telling whats next for this very sultry group. And Stefan makes you want to take control alright!

Midnight City - Just Like That Feat. Raphaella (House Music)

Midnight City are House Duo Jonny Hayes and Josh Jones.  The duo are based  in Merseyside, UK.  The Duo formed Midnight City in late 2013. There most recent EP “Just Like That -ft. Rahpaella” which was released February 12, 2016 on Get Twisted Records.  Hayes and Jones EP  “Just Like That - ft. Rahpaella” includes the Original and 3 additional Remixes of this track. Hayes and Jones Track  “Just Like That (ft. Rahpaella” is a perfect example of a House music track with Rahpaella’s Soulful Vocals, smooth intro and of course those House piano cords. The track has a fun up beat tempo which matches the Piano cords, synthy High hate, and very basey kick drum that really perfects the vibe and over all balance of their House track.And in the words of Raphealla “ I like it just like that” my  House music that is. I can bet that this won’t be the last anthem this duo creates and I’ll be counting the days till the next one!

Ramzoid - 'Virtual Fish Market'  ( Experimental)

Julien Lopes is a 18 year old Canadian based producer who goes by Ramzoid. Lopes is apart of collective group/Inhibitor of  a Musical place called Soda Island. Their land consist of  many beautiful Musical things.  The collective group’s music is based off the their land’s sounds,serene, wildlife and their personal experiences with the land.  The collective group’s music is very refreshing and unique with its samples, titties and ideas. Lopes’s track “Virtual Fish Market” is not only a song but it really gives an idea of how life would be in this virtual world they call “Soda Island” and takes us on a journey that is a never ending story. Lopes’s track “Virtual Fish Market” is best described as a person looking through or is a seller at Soda Island’’s fish market but I can only imagine what other spectacles are involved in this track’s story. which is whats so unique about this collective that their music is completely done with their imagination and story behind their very own life on Soda Island which is what really a lures me to this collective’s interesting but yet not over done sound. The Inhibitors of Soda Island art work is something that is so delicate but yet has a urban contemporary feel to it. It reminds of the game Candy Land but a more Virtual Computer based land that is tricked out on 808 beats. I’m excited to see what other story this creative collective has to offer  and I bet they wont leave out any Virtual detail.

Niia Bertino is her birth name but she goes by Niia.  Bertino grew up in NeedHam, Massachusetts CA but she is now based in New York.  Bertino started off young being taught by her mother in classical piano and began singing at the age of 13.  Since Bertino is familiar with soulful, jazzy music, its no wonder her style of music is captivating to listener's ears.  Bertino first started out being a featured artist on 2007 single, "Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill),".  Soon later after few more singles Bertino and producer RobinHannibal debuted her EP Generation Blue, released on October 28, 2014.  In her EP "Generation Blue" Niia's song "Body" is one of the many favorites. In the Song "Body" Bertino's voice is captured so greatly with a Jazzy off Beat intro and her vocals are too perfection. she knows her vocal strength and is so effortless with her tender her voice when she sings the chorus making the listeners not just understand how she's feeling but actually feel the warmth in the Bertino's voice, which warms and saddens listener's hearts.  Bertino's epic Jazzy Piano solo at the end just polishes the song's ending so perfectly with a dramatic but yet fading calmness that makes you feel a touch of sadness and peace.  I can not wait till Niia's next EP or Album it will make all listeners swoon.

Seb Wildblood -  "Submarine" ( Experimental)

Seb wildblood is producer/Dj . Seb Wildblood is experimental new sound to the electronic Scene, with only having 4 EP's including his most recent creations "Submarine" EP that was released November 27, 2015 and premiered on FACT UK Music Magazine.  Seb Wildblood’s other singles have been featured on Mixmag and Boiler Room. There's no wonder why "Submarine" EP is already getting a great response.  One of Seb Wildblood’s tracks called "Submarine" of their new "Submarine" EP caught my ear with its ultra smooth intro, tight jazzy high hats as the beat and the very serene feeling synths especially the ultra soulful saxophone that every so lightly is snuck in there that really completes the calm delight of this song that more than most listeners will be intrigued with this track.

Pakem – © 1986 (Deep House, sampled)

 Pakem is unknown Mystery on the music scene.  Their Name “Pakem” means Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun] in Indonesia, which is something I hardly see thought in to choosing Producers/Bands Names anymore.  Pakem is a Disc Jockey/producer located in Aix-En Provence, France.  More than most European producer are just so talented from what I usually hear coming from that continent and the same goes for this Producer.  The way Pakem displays their self is very inviting.  Pakem “COPYRIGHTS” mixtape came out August 11, 2015 that consist of 5 tracks one in particular is “© 1986” is something very inviting about this track with its very pronounced lively claps instead  of a kick drum that remind me of 818 beat that is clearly shows that Pakem really in to Hip Hop and Rap which drum machine is usually sampled in.  The way Pakem distorts the vocals and with rhythmic timing just brought the whole track to the next level.  Pakem is experimental from their music, to their bio, and their art work.  The mixtape for “COPYRIGHTS” is undeniable stance on and creative twist on finding a way to stand out but not lose your true creative dreams.  With only 7,607 followers on Sound Cloud I sure that Pakem wont be underground  for much longer with such a great strong creative ideas and mindset the Electronic music community has to and will take notice of something worth noticing.
