I like photographing live events, especially for people that I’ve gotten to know so maybe artists, singers, rappers. I love capturing moments when they’re in their element and they don’t even know that, for that second, they’re lost. I love capturing it and being like “here, this is how we see you”. Moments like that, they give me tingles. It’s a nice feeling. I know that if it was me and I was an artist on stage, I would want someone to capture those moments for me so I like doing it for other people.

I have a fear of rejection, I’m sure most of us do, so I’m doing this 2kfaces project to help me face that fear. I like photography and I’m out a lot. I’m always like “I wish I took that picture, I wish I captured that person,” but there’s times I have my camera and I still won’t do it. So, I’m forcing myself to face that fear, and I think the best way is through capturing people out and about and just asking strangers to take their photograph.

The 2kfaces project is a challenge from my FLY journey – my Fear Less Year journey – which is basically a year of me doing all of the things that I’m afraid to do. On 6th August 2015 I shaved my hair as part of this journey and I’m going skydiving at the end of March. The more I do, especially with this FLY journey, the more I’m inspired.
