I've been on tumblr for over a decade and finally decided to start putting my fics on here as well. So here's my page dedicated to my love of writing about my current favorite things!

Grace and Rocky find the sub floating in space around Tau Ceti.

Open up: Armless traumatized Simon inside, very not conscious.

Take him in, hook him up to Armondo- shit he's so irritated, Rocky, don't touch him.

Six days, still unconscious, Grace is restless, Rocky is worried about the radiation.

Wake up, Rocky is sleeping, Grace is sitting next to his sick bed reading or some shit.

“Oh, hey, you're finally awake.” - Grace.

The moment he wakes up he's on his feet and choking out Grace a little. “WHERE THE FUCKING HELL AM I IN THIS GODDAMN SHITHOLE OF A UNIVERSE!?!?” - Simon.

Calm him down, explain everything, Grace suspects a wormhole or some shit.

Simon tries really hard not to cry now that he knows he's never getting the box back to the COI.

Rocky wakes up, Simon's not irritated anymore, amaze.

“Yo wtf is that omfg.” - Simon.

“I'm just a silly Rocky guy, you xenophobic bitch.” - Rocky.

Explain the mission to Adrian, explain that the stars are dying (not dead) and there's a chance to save them.

Simon becomes the new EVA guy, Grace continues to shitilly pilot.

Go forward with the plan, all the Adrian shit happens.

Simon is knocked unconscious (again), Grace is dying, Rocky sacrifices himself, Simon wakes up, helps Rocky into his xenonite stuff.

Grace wakes up, cries over Rocky, Simon comforts him without really knowing why.

Rocky wakes up, celebrates, Rocky thanks Simon for saving him.

Discover Taumeuba (yeah that's spelled wrong idc), party a little.

Part ways with Simon and Grace going together to Earth.

Taumeuba leek, Simon doesn't know how to react, Grace is panicking when he realizes Rocky's gonna die.

Simon urges Grace to take them to save him, Grace is confused.

“We picked you up from a drifting sub, you went through so much with and without us, why don't you want to go home with me?” - Grace.

“I don't need the trees, I need you, and for you to be happy. Rocky is your best friend, and his entire planet is going to die if we don't go. He needs you, and you need Him.” - Simon.

They go get Rocky, very heartwarming, very happy, Grace and Simon kiss a little, Rocky is confused at first but ends up fucking loving it.

Flash forward to Erid.

Grace and Rocky and Simon living together, Grace x Simon are a proper couple, they got the Eridian-wedding-band-engraving-things in their arms, Simon is regularly seeing an Eridian therapist that Grace nicknamed Jasper due to the supposed healing powers.

Grace and Simon spend lots of time with Rocky and Adrian’s pebbles, babysitting and teaching them human stuff, Simon loves the ocean now, previously hated it.

Conclusion with Grace and Simon choosing to stay on Erid even after being offered a refueled Hail Mary, Grace goes to school, Simon watches him go lovingly from the beach side.

When I first read the book, I cried my eyes out. Not just because the story is beautiful (which it is), but because I'd never seen love like this represented in media before. A love like what I experience. A soul-encompassing love that can't exactly be called romantic, but that is undeniably and desperately real. What do you call a platonic soulmate? 🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵
