wrt last rb: more people gotta practice keeping it to themselves when it comes to indie artists. idrc how many followers they have, it doesn't protect them and just makes their haters more plentiful and therefore louder. if a disney movie is bad people are like "damn that kinda sucked but can you expect disney to make anything good these days?"
but god forbid if a queer/nonwhite creator makes something mid?... well, obviously, death to that guy for trying, you know. (/sarcasm)
what if we went back to expecting more from the teams of highly experienced people with huge studios and have the budget to make amazing stuff but choose to make movies that are made to be put in the background while you do something else. and stopped expecting so much from small teams full of people who are probably doing this thing for the first or second time.
indie creators are more accessible, they don't usually have someone else running their social media for them. you can get in their notifs and say hurtful things and good chance they will actually see it.
which is great for the people who are looking for an excuse to hurt someone
