Allegiances beneath the cut! (May not be fully updated, I keep forgetting 😭)

First of all, I love this comic, the plot and the art itself! It's a treat to read ^^

I'm sorry if this was asked before, but how many moons ahead have you played? I can imagine that staying consistent with characters while the events are pretty random must be quite hard

Thank you!! :DD I play ahead around 10-15 moons but for Splinterclan I've already played to where the story 'ends'/where I decided it's going to end so I haven't played the save file for a long time!

And yeah my solution for that was just to ignore events that didn't match my canon lol And I have been taking more and more liberties with the story as it goes now bc I want it to have a meaningful close and while you definitely can get that with just clangen imo for Splinterclan it's gonna get some extra oomph :)

Things that the game for sure decided are who joined the clan, relationships, and deaths/new kits. A lot of other things I have finagled around (a recent example is that in the game Blacknettle and Tawnypaw joined the clan in moon 31 separately, but I put them together to give them a connection and make the story flow better!)

Whorl is currently 111 Moons so a little over 9 years old - I wouldn']t say she's on her deathbed but she is older! Definitely not an elder yet (the game starts elders at 120 I think? don't quote me on that)

Moor is younger than Whorl at 86 moons old currently so not that old either

Yay thank you I'm glad you think so!! I pretty sure I've said it before but part of Elk's coping with his grief of Moonpaw's death was trying to love their mother enough for the both of them - because he thinks it is what Moonpaw would have wanted him to do. Not all of his love for her comes out of that sense of obligation, but the lengths he goes to protect and stay with Bess are certainly effected by it.

I know you didn’t play this Clangen game I think, but just want to let you know of the new updates Officially Clangen released.

Dw I have been playing it too and it is great!! Much harder to keep cats alive (at least for the save I was playing) but I really like the added difficulty bc you have to pay more attention >:) I love everything the clangen devs do and still play the game often in my free time!!

Nooo it was a mistake - fixed it now! And Vinepaw's a girl - I don't care too much about their pronouns but I do have the allegiances in the pinned post if anyone ever wants to check a cat's info!

I like to think that since clans have been in the area/existing for so long that some loners just take on clan-like names! Maybe her mother's mother had been a clan cat, either way Blacknettle is her birth name and it won't really be addressed beyond that (I honestly can't remember if she came with that name in clangen either fffff)

Tawny is just his full name currently, but he will take on a clan name hence why I've just gone ahead with tagging him "Tawnypaw" ^^

Yeah at least one more exists that I will post here eventually!

Moon 31.11: Yippee on Elk and Bess being safe and okay!

She was like "No. Go back" and he wouldn't lol

Elk was smart and tracked after her for like half a day before revealing himself, so they were too far out for Bess to march him back herself. Now they have an agreement that they'll go back after winter is over (they're currently heading back towards Bess' barn/her more familiar territory)

I finally caught up with the animatics and lore I'd missed, mainly Whorl's past (Shower Day) and the whole Stiltstar thing...

Anyway how dare you break our hearts like that holy SHIT. Just when I thought Oakclan couldn't suck more... No wonder they got mass-TNR'd, it was karma (for most of them) probably

Myrtle was still in the kit den during the war so she only really got to know Whorlstar after the war ended and after Whorl had been more accepted into the clan. Afterward I think she just thought of Whorl in passing as "that warrior who was a kittypet but it's fine now" and then after the camp moved to the junkyard she began to respect Whorlstar for making better decisions than Palestar was.

She also just genuinely wanted an adventure so I think she'd have followed Whorl whether she liked/knew her or not LOL

We might find out! But seeing as most of them never really got around to accepting Bess, it'd probably be awkward and a big air of "why are you here now? It's been a year bro"
