Thunderbirds

John - He's on ladder duty. He's up on the ladder hanging up ceiling decorations such as 'Happy Birthday Scott!' banners and other pieces of party decor. Even though he's just come down from space and still adjusting again to gravity, he's the tallest after Scott and is needed to hang the higher decorations.

Virgil - Cake duty. It's a well known fact that Grandma Tracy is not the best baker out there, but she still wants to make an effort to provide her eldest grandson with a special cake on his birthday. So, Virgil is in the kitchen helping her measure out the ingredients accurately and helping her in recognising when baked goods need to be taken out of the oven.

Gordon - Balloon duty. He's got the lung strength of an Olympic athlete so he's been allocated the task of manually blowing up 100 balloons since Alan managed to break the pump. Not that he minds, he enjoys balloons. However, he's already managed to pop 7 of them somehow.

Alan - Was also on balloon duty with Gordon for a while as 'punishment' for breaking the pump they had last time it was used. However has now been moved to hold the ladder for John. Has already been yelled to 'HOLD IT STEADY!' by his ginger brother 4 times.

Kayo - On look out. While not actively doing anything to prepare something for the party, she is watching to make sure the big Scott Tracy himself does not walk in to see his entire family decorating for his special day tomorrow. In fact he doesn't even know John is on the island as EOS made another fake version of John to respond to Scott's calls to make it seem as if he was still on Thunderbird 5.

Grandma Tracy - Cake duty, but also wrapping presents. Whilst her and Virgil prepared the cake, once it was in the oven she moved to wrapping the presents. Everybody bought their own gifts for Scott, but Grandma always wrapped them as nobody else could wrap presents neatly. Except maybe Virgil and Scott himself, but nobody does it as nicely and precisely as Grandma.

I don't know why that feels important to me... It just is.

@shinygoku do I have some news for you!! This artist actually painted several Thunderbirds pieces as box art for model kits that you can still buy today.

I studied him in GCSE art. The 60's was a pivotal era of art in Japan, manga was becoming more and more popular but Komatsuzaki stuck to making big paintings for model companies instead of illustrating comics and focusing on scenes rather than characters. He made a looooot of futuristic, sci-fi style paintings

a part of me likes to think alan and/or gordon have 0.5’s of all their brothers.
