thank you for asking! i appreciate that, and sorry it took me a while to reply to this, and i apologize in advance this post is so long💔
Alice is my oc, and she is known via Dust (currently discontinued), the fic i have over on my Ao3. BUT, before that, she has a loooong roleplay history with me over facebook and Amino (Alice was, and still is, in a Code Lyoko server and is an oc you can role with! naturally, for those who know how she is on Dust, her plot totally changes in another fandom, so she is moved by something else entirely). she also appears as a co-protagonist in Swap (currently discontinued).
now, on who she is:
if you haven’t read Dust yet, I actually recommend you do, because you may find the story explains things better than i do lol. but, even if you don’t want to, here’s a quick summary on who she is (based on Dust):
she’s a black asian 20 year old girl with Korean and Italian descent (her mom is Italian, while her dad is Korean.) about her childhood not much is known, except her dad died when she was little and that she lived in many places after that event, that traumatized her the most. she’s an Aquarius, born on 1st February. a cool thing about her? she actually comes from 2020! do you want to know how she teleports to 2060, together with the Tracys?…we can say she’s the successful operation of a time machine experiment, without spoiling anything else (soz, you’ll have to read Dust to know everything better!) her love interest is…it’d be so easy if i just told you, right? you gotta wait i’m afraid Virgil, definitely Virgil.
the story also has a lot of trivia about her, like her favorite color, her favorite foods, drinks, what are her ambitions and any of her pet peeves, as well as her abilities, but you gotta read carefully to discover all of that.
what about her personality? she’s a total badass, fearless and a bit egotistic, very attached to family and caring for everyone, despite her tough exterior. she is a good listener, she follows trends, and most of all, she likes to be independent, she doesn’t like to be caged. she likes dad jokes, she would probably scream “fr e sh a voca do” for fun and would give her life to save someone she loves.
do you want to know her aspect? it is sufficient you dive into my blog and search for the tag #Alice Kim (if you don’t get results, write it again without the capital letters), but if you want to see something right now without having to take up time and force to search through my blog, here are a few drawings of her the Thunderfam made! we have @rachfielden-xo’s (here), @louthestarspeaker’s (here) and @nourelle-tracy’s (here); here’s also a picrew @that-tag-nerd51 made (here); please support all their drawings! you can also find other picrews portraying her over on my blog. (btw i really love it when people make art of her, and i wish lots of people would make art of her SKSKSKSK, you don’t even have to ask for my permission as long as you don’t claim the character as your own)
feel like there’s something you wanted to know but i didn’t give an answer to? chat with her, she’s more than happy to answer! @livinthe2060dream
also please boost this post so everyone knows who Alice is!

There are nine hours until Virgil's birthday.

Collapse Chapter 4: One Visitor
At 01:21, a doctor finally emerged from the operating room.
John couldn't breathe as the doctor removed the mask from his face.
His heart had stopped once during the operation, but they had brought him back. It was a successful operation in the end. But he was intubated. His condition was critical, and he had been admitted to intensive care.
They weren't allowed to see him yet. The ICU only permitted one visitor at a time during visiting hours.
John hated it. None of them were happy about it. Yet they didn't want to leave the hospital.
Kayo had only agreed to treatment after Scott insisted. Gordon hadn't argued much either once Scott had turned that look on him. A short while later, both of them had been sent to a nearby hotel to clean up and rest. Grandma had gone with them, making sure neither of them found an excuse to come straight back.
Despite Alan's objections, Scott had sent him to sleep with them for a while.
Suddenly, a cardboard cup appeared before his eyes. He followed the hand holding the cup and met anxious, weary-looking blue eyes.
Only the two of them were left in the waiting room.
"Hospital coffee. Not the best but-"
"Our only option for now." John gratefully took the coffee from his brother's hand.
Scott gently sat down in the chair next to him. He scrutinized him carefully. "You are tired too."
"I'm not leaving." John didn't want an argument about this.
"I know."
John took a sip of his bitter and tasteless coffee. The warmth of the coffee slid down his throat, only for a shiver to follow in its wake.
"Gordon was almost trapped under the rubble. Kayo had broken ribs and-"
"And none of it was in your hands."
John avoided eye contact with him.
"You had to watch all of it from orbit."
He could only watch. Most of the time, he didn't even get any data that could help them.
"John... You did everything you could. You couldn't have gotten to him in time."
John turned to Scott for a moment. Then he lowered his head. "It's his birthday."
For a moment, Scott didn't say anything. The coffee cup felt too warm in John's hands.
"I know."
John turned to him. His jaw tightened.
"He was supposed to be home."
"I know."
"We were supposed to be annoying him."
John averted his eyes again. "But we are here..."
A faint smile appeared on Scott's face. "Alan had a whole plan."
"He is going to be okay, John."
He has to be.
The day's fatigue lingered, but they wanted to stay awake so as not to miss any information about their brother.
The following hours passed in a haze. Neither of them slept properly.
Every time the doors opened, both of them looked up. Every time, it was someone else.
By the time morning arrived, exhaustion had settled deep into John's bones.
At 8.00, he had gone to get something to eat for himself and Scott. Neither of them had any idea when they had last eaten.
And visiting hours started in one hour.
Scott was busy arguing with the others over comms. Nobody wanted to stay away from the hospital, but ICU rules meant only one of them might get to see Virgil today.
Still, John briefly considered asking for an exception. They both had been waiting for this for hours, and he didn't want either of them to miss seeing Virgil.
He got two sandwiches and two fruit juices from the cafeteria. When he returned to the waiting room, he could hear Scott's voice coming from the open door.
"If you two don't go back to your damn beds, I'll forcibly send you to the island and tie your Birds to it." Scott's voice was calm, but the threat was clearly real.
"We are fine, we don't need to be treated like babies." Kayo's voice sounded threatening, even through the comm device.
"You're barely standing. The doctor said yesterday you were lucky your lungs weren't punctured."
He entered the room frowning.
"Gordon! Whose side are you on?"
John almost laughed at this situation.
Almost.
Scott frowned at Gordon's comment, much like John had.
"Both of you, to your beds, now."
"Scott-"
Then, without giving either of them a chance to argue further, Scott ended the call.
The corner of John's mouth twitched, but amusement faded quickly when he looked at Scott.
John took a few steps towards his brother and showed him the sandwiches he was holding. They ate at opposite corners of the small table, as if in a silent agreement.
Then they waited.
The clock on the wall ticked past nine.
Finally, a nurse stepped into the waiting room. "Family of Virgil Tracy?"
They both stood up at the same time.
"Only one visitor."
John turned to Scott. He was the older brother. Even though he really wanted to see Virgil, if Scott wanted to go in first... John would let him.
But Scott's gaze encouraged him to go. There was no hesitation.
Relief washed through him before guilt immediately followed. He still wanted to ask if his brother was sure about it. "Scott-"
"Go see him, John." Scott squeezed his shoulder reassuringly.
"Thank you."
Scott smiled gently at him and turned to the nurse. "Can I still come to the door as well?"
"Of course."
So they both started following the nurse down several corridors. John was taken to a private room so he could put on sterile clothing.
John was determined to try his luck so that his brother, who was outside, could see Virgil. He turned to the nurse in the room who had helped him put on the sterile gown.
"I know the rule is one person but-...my brother and I have been waiting for this since last night... Could he at least see him for 5 minutes?"
The nurse hesitated for a moment. John interpreted this as a positive response indicating that he was considering what he said.
The man turned to him with understanding eyes. "Go inside and spend some time with your brother. I'll ask the doctor if a second person can enter after you." A pause. "This is all I can do."
John was grateful for this. "Thank you."
Then they left the small room and entered a long corridor with doors on both sides.
The nurse stopped in front of a door.
"Room 12."
John's hand tightened around the edge of his gown.
Then he stepped inside.
The hum of the machines filled his ears, accompanied by the steady rhythm of a monitor. It was the only thing John could hold onto.
Virgil looked tiny among the machines. It was hard to reconcile the sight with the brother John knew—the strongest one of them all.
He approached him with slow steps. For a moment he was afraid to wake him, but then he remembered he was still under the influence of medication.
His brother had a small bandage on his forehead, with scratches visible around it.
John hesitated for a moment before reaching for Virgil's hand. Carefully avoiding the IV line, he closed his hand around Virgil's.
"Hey..."
A single tear rolled down his cheek.
"Today shouldn't be like this."
John looked down at their joined hands.
"You were supposed to be home."
The machines answered with the same steady rhythm.
"Alan had plans."
A small smile appeared on his face.
"Honestly, I don't know what they were. He wouldn't tell me."
His eyes returned to his face. He squeezed the hand beneath his.

-Collapse- Chapter 2: Just One Minute
"Be careful, Kayo, the control room is right next to the coolant reactor and it's dangerously hot in there."
"You say that as if I need the reminder, Thunderbird 5."
"Today, you do."
Kayo smiled faintly at his holo-screen.
"Fair enough."
They were going to hand over the calls to GDF from midnight onwards. Birthday celebrations had stopped being a surprise after the last time Virgil had been delayed by a rescue mission.
"Brains will guide you through the reset process when you enter the control room."
He had a map of the building. From what he could see on his screen, concrete and twisted metal from the explosion had blocked the shortest route to the control room.
"The direct path to the room is blocked by concrete and twisted metal; I've sent you the route you need to take via your wristband."
"FAB. Thunderbird S out."
John left Kayo's tracking signal on the screen, drawing attention to his brothers who were trying to rescue the people trapped in the tunnels beneath the facility.
"How's the rescue progressing, Thunderbird 2?"
"We're almost melting down here, John. Is Kayo handling the cooling system?"
John glanced at the screen, which was tracking Kayo's signal. "She is on her way, Gordon. What is your status regarding the rescue?"
"Virgil is doing the heavy lifting in his exosuit; we're only a few collapsed walls away from reaching them."
"There are four people waiting to be rescued there. The fifth person is stranded somewhere separate from them. I was receiving the signal from a room behind those four people."
"You were?"
"High temperatures are distorting the data." He gritted his teeth.
He could no longer receive signals from the people inside. Perhaps without the IR suits, he might have lost their signals entirely.
"Let's focus on getting these people out first. If Kayo has any updates, let us know." Virgil's voice sounded breathless.
He hoped the people trapped inside were still conscious in those temperatures.
"I will, Virgil. Just be careful." John was technically blind when Thunderbird 5 received incorrect data. And he hated it.
°°°°°°
The four people who were trapped were rescued 20 minutes later. Gordon had left to escort them out to ensure their safe exit, while Virgil was trying to rescue the last remaining person a little further down the road from where they had rescued others.
John was watching the increasing heat inside with fear.
Kayo still hadn't reached the control room, but the area she was in was much hotter than underground, and the alternative route she was using, while not completely blocked, was riddled with ruins, inevitably slowing her down.
Her body temperature was climbing rapidly, according to the data from her suit. But Kayo didn't stop.
"Kayo..."
"...John- ... Thunderbird- 5."
"Situation?"
A breath was heard, but John wasn't sure if it was his usual mocking breath or just pure exhaustion. "Fabulous."
"Kayo."
"Do you know- ..how much time... I have left?"
The only consistent readings John could still get were from their suits. "No."
"I'm 'bout to reach the control room." A pause. "Virgil and Gordon?"
"Gordon is evacuating people. Virgil is inside for the last person left."
Kayo responded much more slowly than John was used to. "Tell Brains to be ready for the reset protocol." Another breath. "Shadow is out."
John didn't like that. The reactor could explode at any moment. His siblings were still inside.
"Virgil?"
"Hey John... Have you decided to join the barbecue?" Virgil's breathing was still ragged.
John smiled despite everything. "I'm just making sure you don't set anything on fire."
"I thought the barbecue was tomorrow." Even Gordon's voice was breathless, hidden behind its sarcasm.
"Gordon, how is the evacuation going?"
"We have three minutes left, I'll get them out and then go back to help Virgil."
John tracked Gordon's progress using the map on his screen.
"John! Where are Virgil and Gordon?"
John frowned. "Virgil is inside. Gordon will take those four people out and go back to help Virgil."
"No. No one will come in, take Virgil outside."
"Kayo- ... What?" John hastily connected all three to the same communication frequency.
"Tunnel 3A, next to the tunnel where Virgil is located- The pressure is too high; it could explode at any moment!"
John couldn't verify the warning with the data he had. But Kayo was in the control room. She could see things that he couldn't. The facility and the control room were designed for exactly this purpose.
"Virgil!"
"No."
"Virgil-"
"I can take them out. The last person..."
"I'm going inside."
"No!" Virgil, John, and Kayo all shouted at the same time.
"Just one minute and we'll both be gone from here."
"Virgil-"
"I can hear her, John." A pause. "Just one minute."
Nobody could object to that.
"I'm initiating a system reset, Mini-Max is with me."
John gritted his teeth. And he waited.
A hoarse breath came from Virgil's communication. "I see her."
Then the sound of rocks falling was heard. John held his breath.
"We're leav-"
Virgil's communication had been cut off.
"Virgil!"
And John could see the intensity of the explosion on the virtual map.

I’m not really sure what hashtags I’m supposed to use here for this fandom, but I guess these ones are good enough.
I just finished all the episodes of Thunderbirds Are Go. I mean, I used to watch it on TV before, but I never really took it seriously. Then they started airing it again, and for some reason I got really hooked on that part of the story where Alan was learning how to drive from Parker. That kinda pushed me to sit down and watch the whole thing, and now here I am. I hope everything goes well.
yep I adore them a lot and your artstyle is MAJESTIC!
the little details... the specific christmas outfit you take out only once a year and some are mismatched... hehehe yes it truly sets the festivities in
whenever i go back through my blog to look for something i end up wasting a lot of time just looking at the posts because for some reason it's full of stuff i would reblog
