bitch omg ur alive? i remember loving ur dadzawa posts so much, saw ur new post on my feed and got whiplash like damn i havenât seen them in years. but hope you are taking care of urself đŤđЎ
i know, I was away for a long time
truth is, life is hard as hell. I was pretty young when i started writing. the pandemic happened when i was a junior in high school, and i started writing because my brother and i were binging my hero academia and i fell so deeply in love with it, and i thought âhey! why not make a tumblr account to vicariously experience joy through writing imagines and headcanons and shit!â
then, my mom died. and i moved across the world during a global pandemic in the middle of senior year. total peer isolation. my stepmom turned out to be very emotionally and verbally abusive. she kicked me out of the house. i got super depressed and dropped out of college. not to mention when i accidentally deleted my blog and lost a shit ton of work i spent years on.
but life is better.
iâm living in my own place now and i have a wonderful job as a daycare teacher that is super fulfilling. and your girl is in therapy! so, iâm better than iâve been in four years. and creativity and motivation to pursue joy has finally returned, so i want to write again.
i canât promise that i will be able to upload a bunch, but i want to create a better schedule to at least try and post at least once a week.
i have lots of fun stuff in the works! so i hope everyone stays tuned for some fun surprises!

Midoriya izuku x reader. She's dead because of the liberation of the current episode...
If you're not comfortable writing this its okay! I understand.
midoriya's s/o dies during the war arc
type: drabble
pronouns: she/her/herself
word count: 1330
content warning: character death, minimal description of blood relating to the character death (not very descriptive)
a/n: I was a little more interruptive with this one because it wasn't a very detailed request. so, it takes place around the epilogue chapter when midoriya is around twenty-two, and the reader has been dead for six years since the war arc. i have a very complicated relationship with grieving and death, but i love exploring it in writing. it helps me process my thoughts in a constructive way. also, i love angst.
and if you like demon slayer, check out my side-blog @katwatcheskny, where requests are also open.

The sun was beginning to set by the time he arrived. Izuku watched the skies turn a gorgeous shade of golden and orange. It was the perfect atmosphere to share with another person. He had passed a few couples doing just that, even a couple of his students when he left the school.
âHey, (Y/N),â he whispered.
The cemetery was impeccably well managed, for that he was grateful. He wanted her to be resting somewhere beautiful. Her grave was located in a particularly lovely location in the graveyard. Atop a small slope, that gave him a view into the city, but more importantly a great view of the sunset. There was a tree beside the stone, leaves had recently fallen onto the gravestone, and Izuku took great care to carefully sweep them up with his hands. He was grateful for the tree in the summertime, he could sit under the shade when he visited. It was in a relatively new plot, so very few people came this way, giving them some privacy. He touched the cold stone and sighed.
He bent down and placed the bouquet of flowers at the base of the gravestone, he looked up and read the carving. (Y/N) (L/N), beloved daughter and brave hero. He teared up when he read the dates. Of course, he remembered her birthdate and her death date, he never forgot them. But on this particular day he thought of how she had been the same age his students are. He couldnât imagine a single one of them fighting in a battle the way they had at that age. He had never really thought about how young they were.
âIâm sorry they're a little expensive, I know you never liked it when I spent too much money on you,â he tried to force himself to be humorous, remembering how she hated expensive gifts. âBut, I know they were your favorite and I couldnât resist getting a whole bouquet of them.â
He still remembered every detail about her.
Izuku had been nervous to have his first girlfriend, and he compensated for his nervousness and lack of experience with a great amount of attentiveness. He wanted to know everything about her, so he could apply it to being a good boyfriend. He never forgot when she mentioned if she liked something, or disliked something. Soon, Izuku knew more about her than anyone else. And that information remained stored in a part of his brain, he could recall her favorite flowers or candies or songs with ease. Even if six years had passed.
âI know itâs not a special occasion,â he continued his defense, âitâs not your birthday, or anything. Itâs just a Tuesday. And I miss you.â
He missed her so much.
Izuku forced himself to keep speaking, ignoring the lump in his throat and the burning sensation in his eyes, âmy class is doing really well. Aizawa-sensei thinks that I should be more strict with them. He doesnât want this new generation to become arrogant because weâre at peace.â It wasnât really working, his tear ducts were already beginning to swell up and he was losing his ability to form words, the lump was becoming painful.
In his mind, his fondest memories are of her in her school uniform. When they were in the safety of their classroom, where she would lean over her desk and wrap her arms around his neck, flustering him like crazy. Or in the cafeteria, where they would sit side by side eating and talking with their friends, and he struggled not to stare at her too much. (Y/N) loved UA, and it made him feel closer to her being there. He wanted his students to love coming to class just as much as they did. To create the same warm and fond memories. To have the chance to be children, like they once were.
He tried to think of her lovely face, the face of the person he adored the most, and he hated how long it would take his mind to conjure it. Izuku wasnât even sure if his memory was doing her any justice. He feared the day when his mind wouldnât be able to uphold the memory of her face by itself, instead he would need to rely entirely on pictures. He had already forgotten what her voice sounded like from memory, relying solely on videos and voicemails he couldnât bring himself to delete.
Tears ran down his face.
Izuku held his head low and took deep breaths as he allowed himself to cry. He cried until the lump in his throat dissipated and he could speak again.
âIâm sorry that Iâm crying so much, I actually had a good day.â A pang of guilt in his gut, and instant regret flooded into his mind. Friends and family had spent years trying to convince him that he didnât need to feel guilty about being happy, that (Y/N) more than anyone wanted him to be happy. How she would hate it if he was depressed the rest of his life, when she loved seeing him smile. So, he tried to smile for her now. âI have lots of good days.â
He wanted to be strong for her.
She was so strong. She hadnât even reached the prime of her life, but she was stronger than he was. Even when she was laying in his arms, her body a bloody ruin and the light slowly dwindling from her eyes, she was strong for him. She whispered her last words to him, âitâs okay. Itâs okay.â She used what little strength remained to her to caress his tear stained cheek. When he looked at her, passed all the tears and blood, she was smiling, âI wish I could say goodbye to everyone. But Iâm glad that I got to be with you beforeâŚâ she wasnât able to finish her sentence before she was gone, a smile on her face. He could still remember how loud he had screamed, he made his ears ring and tore his threat apart. He remembers that they had to drag him away from her body, he didnât want to let go of her, even as her body went cold.
âI want to have good days,â he admitted, âbut Iâm not ready to move on. Iâm so afraid that if I do, itâs like Iâm gonna forget about you. And I canât let go.â
His whole body trembled as he continued sobbing, he felt sick.
âI donât really know how to move forward in my life without you. I know we were young, we were just children, but,â he covered his mouth, and took a deep breath as he allowed himself to relieve all the dreams he had once had. âBut, I couldnât imagine even having a future without you. I didnât care if it was unlikely or improbable, I wanted us to stay together even after graduation and build a life together. I knew you were it for me.â
She was it.
âAnd now youâre gone, and I donât know how I could ever feel that way about another person. If I even want to love someone else.â He had gone on a few dates at the behest of his friends, but he never felt like he connected with any of them the way he so effortlessly did with (Y/N). Or, perhaps more accurately, he never really tried hard to. âI feel like that part of my heart still belongs to you. And I donât want to take it away from you, even if youâre not here. And Iâm not sure I have any more room in my heart for another person.â
He was still young. He wondered if he would always feel that way. Maybe, he would change his mind. Izuku just couldnât imagine it at this point in his life.
It still took too much of him to even admit that she was gone.
for a request, how about an s/o who wins the sports festival? your choice of characters since I'm indecisive /á ・ę・á\
i'm very bad at making decisions like choosing who gets to be a part of a preference post, it's like having to choose between my children, so i'm gonna use the new poll feature to see what the people want. after the poll closes, i will include the top four to five winners.
for the sake of simplicity, i am only including class a characters (and shinsou because he's a fave). i'm gonna try and make the it the most popular choices, both female and male.
feel free to comment anyone i forgot, make your voices known.
what character do you most want to see featured in an 'their s/o wins the sports festival' preference post?
request: Okay can you please make a part 2 for shigaraki and his s/o are seperated I NEED it also I love your work and ur awesome!!! @thefoxxx111

They were still holding her for questioning for seventy-two hours. Unorthodox, she had heard them arguing that they should just lock her up already. However, they were hoping she would snitch.
Tell them where the other members of the League of Villains were hiding out after the Camino Ward incident. She was a small fish to them, mostly wanted for accomplice charges more than anything. They wanted to use her to locate and capture their actual target. Tomura Shigaraki, and however many other associates she could help them apprehend. For that, they were willing to cut her a deal. Maybe she wouldnât have to waste away the rest of her life in a cell.
She spat at the cop when he said that. Right into his eye.Â
He grabbed the back of her head for that and slammed her face into the metal table. âYou're really going to throw away your life for some lowlifes?â She remained defiant, or maybe it was from the ringing in her ears and the smell of iron and blood. âThey were nowhere to be found when you were arrested, so either they abandoned you or you abandoned them. Your loyalty to a criminal is senseless.â
It was senseless.Â
Tomuraâs last words to her had been on her mind relentlessly, she couldnât even escape them when she slept. He had screamed at her to leave, that he didnât want her around. And yet, she was unable to betray him, even to save herself because she was loyal to him. Even if he yelled at her, cursed her, or hated her, she was still his.
Tears welled up in her eyes, but she fought the urge to cry in front of an officer trying to intimidate her. She wasnât afraid of him. If her arms were restrained, she would kill him with her bare hands. Instead, she fought to cry at her own stupidity. Why had she argued with him? And why did she leave? She should have stayed in the hideout, waited for his anger to subside and then returned to him. But his words had cut too deep. He had never once demanded she leave his side, never so seriously. She just needed some fresh air.
Now, she would never see any of them again. She would never see Tomura again. Just like he wanted, she thought.
They threw her back into her cell after she continued to remain silent throughout their questioning. No amount of bribing or intimidating would work on her. So, they gave up. Finally. They declared that they would transfer her to Tartarus the following day, and she would spend the rest of her life in chains.
She laid on the metal bed with a worn out cot that did little to provide any comfort. She rolled onto her side, facing the wall. Sleep evaded her this night, unfortunately their threats of sending her to Tartarus had gotten to her tonight. She closed her eyes and sighed.
As she tried to finally find some sleep, she heard loud voices from deeper in the prison. She didnât bother to move from her position or open her eyes, but she listened to the barely audible voices. âWhat are you doing here?â âWait, youâre-â âStop!â Then there were gunshots. That got her to open an eye as she heard the cops open fire on someone. Then she opened both eyes as she felt the temperature rise, and the sound of flames.Â
Dabi?
She sat up, watching as guards flew across the holding cells, almost as though they were being attracted by a force of magnetism.
Big Sis?
She stood up and walked to the bars of her cell, looking to see what was happening. She had to be dreaming, there was no way this was happening. She hadnât been able to hope or even dream this.
That was when a guard came running, cowardly trying to find an emergency exit. However, his attempt at escape was stopped when a young girl jumped onto his back and stabbed him in the back relentlessly. She was giggling, unbothered by the mayhem. (Y/N) smiled as she saw a familiar face for the first time in days.
âHimiko?â she asked, so happy she was about to cry.
The blonde looked up excitedly, she ran up to the bars and took hold of (Y/N)âs hands, interlacing their fingers. Himikoâs hands were covered in blood, but (Y/N) didnât care. â(Y/N)-chan! (Y/N)-chan! Youâre here! Iâm so happy!â Her smile was as wide and cute as ever, (Y/N) had missed it so much. Himiko turned down the hall and began to scream, âJin! Jin, sheâs over here! Do you have the keys?!â
The masked man came running down the halls with great haste, â(Y/N), weâre here to save you! We should just leave you here.â He held the keychain up, although there were a dozen keys on it.Â
As Twice tried each and every one on the lock to her cell, (Y/N) found herself overwhelmed with emotion, thoughts swirling through her mind as she really understood that the League had come to save her.
âDabi and Magne are here too?â she asked.
Twice nodded, the latest key had failed and he had honestly lost track of which ones he had already tried. âYep. Spinner and Compress, too. It was total overkill!â
âAnd Tomura, is he here too?â
The moment she had allowed the words to leave her mouth, the first time she had said them aloud in days, finally allowed herself to imagine that he would come for her, the wall behind her decayed. She turned away from the chaos in front of her, Twice and Himiko trying hopelessly to unlock her cell, the screams of the other prisoners, the smell of blood, and the fire spreading across the building. She could only look at him. He was finally there.
âToga, Twice, tell the others to finish killing the guards and then return to the hideout, weâre done here,â he ordered.
The two obeyed, and left the two of them alone.
Tomura removed Father from his face and placed it in his pocket. He looked at her, she was wearing a terrible orange jumpsuit that he really hated. She wasnât handcuffed anymore, but he could see red marks on her wrists from where they restrained her too tightly, and he hated that. He really hated the cut and bruise on her forehead, someone had hurt her, made her bleed. He hated them. He hated himself for taking so long to rescue her. So much hate.
âWho did that?â he questioned.
She touched her forehead, absentmindedly. She cringed as her hand came into contact with the untreated bruise. She was unable to tear her eyes away from him. But, something held her back from running to him. His words, leave! âI didnât tell them anything.â
âI know,â he never doubted her loyalty. She was the only one he trusted entirely. âWe have to go now.â
âWe?â
He became frustrated at her questioning, he hated having to explain himself, it was such a pain. Wasnât it enough of a gesture that he had found the specific prison they were holding you in, and had every officer in it horribly murdered, and then ordered Dabi to blow up the building once you were all out? Hadnât that been enough of an apology? Relationships were so complicated.
âNeed you,â he murmured through gritted teeth, scratching the back of his neck, âneed you to come back. I need you around.â
(Y/N) threw herself across the room, she buried her face into his neck, her arms wrapped around him. His body reacted immediately, all the tension that had been building up from the moment she had left was gone the second she clung to him again. As hard as it had been to admit, Tomura meant every word. She was the one thing he could not live without. He needed her more than air.
He placed a hand, save one finger, on the back of her head possessively. âNever leave again. No matter what I say or what I do. You can never leave me. Nothing will ever separate us again.â

Hello! I've been reading your posts. They are rlly amazing! I was thinking if you can make one about what mha would be gifting for their s/o on a special occasion? Can Midoriya be there and other people of your choice? :>
request: Can I request a romantic story with Hawks and a female reader where they're colleagues but Hawks is hoping they can be more than that? đ Maybe our reader thinks it's unprofessional at first but who can resist the number two hero? (I'll leave that bit up to you âşď¸) thank you!! @strangeartisanangel

He had always prided himself on being the fastest. He could defeat and incapacitate a villain, just as his sidekicks managed to arrive on the scene to handle the booking, and took to the skies once more.
So, it was always a bit surprising when he appeared to be late on the scene. Keigo had been using his feathers to sense where there was a situation, and assumed that he would swoop down and handle the villain the way he always did. It was almost disappointing that he missed out on what appeared to be a pretty good fight. Although, more excitingly was which hero had managed to beat him there. He could see her harsh glare before he even began his descent. On sunny days, she was brighter to look upon than even Endeavor.
She crossed her arms, âthe situation has been handled. My sidekicks have already cleared civilians, no injuries or casualties. And no property damage. That will make the higher-ups pretty happy.â Keigo smiled, he could have sworn that the last remark was meant to be a joke, if (Y/N) had ever been known for being able to crack a joke the entire time he had known her. In fact, she got upset with him when he joked on the job. âSorry if you wasted your time responding to this signal, but you can head out.â
Keigo kept his attention focused on (Y/N). She remained in her diamond form, he had only seen her out of it when she was in her office. Not that he was complaining, the diamond look was a good one for her. The light reflected off her skin and glowed in rainbow hue. She looked as beautiful and delicate as crystal, but he knew if she punched him it would go right through him. Which for some reason, only served to make her more attractive to him.
(Y/N) stared at him, awaiting some sort of response. No, she was too observant, she knew exactly when he was thinking while he was checking her out. And now she was annoyed. âOr maybe I should leave you with the booking. Itâd be nice for your sidekicks to see you do some work for once.â
He chuckled at that. âStrong, sexy, and funny. What canât she do?â
She glared, âthatâs entirely unprofessional, Hawks.â
âSorry, itâs just the way I am,â Keigo shrugged his shoulders and walked closer to her. âI promise I would have said the same thing to any other hero.â
She queried her eyebrow, âeven Endeavor?â
âEspecially Endeavor.â For a moment, he saw the corner of her mouth lift up as if to smile, and she forced herself to turn from him. Keigo grinned wider, âitâs probably why he gets as annoyed being around me as you do.â
âHave you considered that youâre just annoying?â she retorted, having composed herself once more as the very serious pro-hero that she was.
âIt has been suggested.â He kept his eyes on her, wondering if there was more truth to her witty retorts that he assumed. âJuries still out on most of the top ten since the billboard announcements, and I think Iâve grown on the Number One. So, I suppose I am an acquired taste for most.â
âI doubt it,â she countered.
âWeâll see.â
(Y/N) turned to face him once more, her face had its usual all-business, no-pleasure expression. âOne of us should head back on patrol. Weâre not off the clock yet,â she concluded, walking away.
He lifted himself off the ground, his wings lightly rising and falling to keep him floating just a foot or two off the ground, as he followed her. âDoes that mean you would be interested in continuing this conversation once we clock out? I know this great place to get drinks, very private. They even have a kitchen with pretty good appetizers. You would love it.â
The two of them had known each other since they debuted in the same year, and in the same city. Some would claim a city the size of Fukuoka could not support the egos of two heroes as high-ranked as them. But, (Y/N) was nothing if not professional. She never minded when Hawks handled more situations on his daily patrol, so long as crime decreased and civilians were safe, she was content. And Keigo loved it when the two of them were partnered up on a case by the hero commission. (Y/N) was a great hero but was significantly more pleasant to be around than most other heroes, she didnât have an inflated sense of self or any hints of self-righteousness.
She approached him. He continued to hover above her and even when she stood directly in front of him, she only reached his chest. (Y/N) smirked and tapped her diamond fingers to his chest. A little more pressure and she could crack every single one of his ribs and puncture his heart. Why was that so attractive to him? What the hell was wrong with him? She was even more lovely up close, though he would prefer if she was in her normal form, so that he could look into her real eyes, that beautiful shade of (e/c). It all felt very promising. âDo you promise that if I agree, that it would be purely platonic?â
He swallowed hard. She was standing so close to him, waiting to catch his bluff the moment it slipped through his lip. (Y/N) was perceptive, but no one needed to be a genius to know his intentions were not pure. Hell, he hardly ever pretended they were. âI mean,â he nervously scratched the back of his head, âare two people ever capable of being purely platonic?â
âSpeaking from experience with Endeavor?â She mocked.
He smirked, âI can promise that I wonât be spending the whole time trying to put the moves on you. But, if you still find yourself falling for my natural charisma and animal-like magnetism, then thatâs a you problem.â
(Y/N) suppressed a giggle once more, the corners of her mouth loosening slightly once more and a sharp exhale of air from her nose. That was disappointing, he had really hoped to get a real laugh out of her with that one. Nonetheless, she turned to the tied up villain and then to their approaching sidekicks, before she faced him once more.Â
âOkay. I get off tonight at 10. Meet me outside my office then, and we get drinks. But, only for an hour.â
It took a lot of strength to fight the urge to respond with itâs a date. He had been completely shocked that she had finally agreed to see him outside of a professional setting, he wasnât quite sure what to do next. Perhaps he should have thought of a smooth exiting line that would leave her wanting? Instead, he thinks he gave her finger-guns before he took off into the blue sky, before she could take back her invitation due to his dorkiness. Keigo was gonna need to get a grip before tonight or else he was screwed.
She knew it was a mistake the moment she got back to her office.
(Y/N) had met the Winged Hero very early in her career. The two of them were the same age and were working in the same city. (Y/N) had a very clear vision of how she wanted her career to go, even back then.Â
She spent her entire time in school working hard to have the best debut possible as a pro-hero. She had done her internships and work studies at top agencies and made connections, she had performed well at the sportâs festivals to broadcast her talent on a global level, and scored well on her provisional license exam. (Y/N) had remained focused on her goal to be a great hero and help as many people as possible at all times, each of her moves were planned and executed without flaw.Â
Once she finally made her debut, her meticulous planning did not cease. She had clear goals for herself. If she did not score within the top thirty heroes in her first year, she was practically doomed to be a niche hero for the rest of her career. Known in certain areas, with limited options for team ups. If she could make it into the lower top ten before she was twenty-one, that was ideal. It would make it all the easier to open her own hero agency before she was twenty-two years old. That was the plan at least. And she had done all of that. She was Number Nine in her third year after her debut, and opened her own agency. That was when she was properly introduced to Hawks.
He was the Number Three at the time, but he was virtually identical to the person he was now. Which was utterly unprofessional.
Their introduction had been done by the hero commission, when they decided to station her agency in Fukuoka. (Y/N) had been interested in familiarizing herself with the Number Three Hero, who was the same age as her but managed to climb the ranks from seemingly nowhere. However, he did not appear to have the same attitude as she did.
(Y/N) remembered the way he looked at her.Â
It was shameless the way his eyes scanned her with that lazy smirk on his lips, the way he held her gaze afterwards. They were on the clock, in front of their head of the commission, and he was so shamelessly checking her out.
What was worse was the way his gaze made her whole body shiver and radiate with a bashful warmth. She wondered if this was the way her female classmates felt back in high school when boys would give them attention. (Y/N) tried to hide instinctual flustered response with a front of professionalism. That she was unaffected by his low-effort charm. If anything, she may have overcompensated and acted as though she disliked him.
Not that it seemed to bother the Winged Hero for a moment. (Y/N) was unsure if he was either observant enough to see through her facade, or that he believed her front and instead viewed it as a challenge to break her wall of ice (or diamond, as would be more fitting with her quirk) and win her over. Not that she would ever let him do something like that. (Y/N) resolved to keep things as professional as possible between the two of them very quickly. Any feelings she might have felt for Hawks, she suppressed as best she could.
Which, despite her confidence in her ability to keep him at arm's length, she now found herself getting ready for a night out with the one person she had sworn she would never go out with.Â
Or perhaps this would be a good opportunity to firmly establish a platonic relationship, making it very clear that she only sees him as a work colleague.Â
At least, thatâs what she tried to tell herself.
(Y/N) walked out to the front of her agency at exactly ten oâclock. She kept messing around with her hair, smoothing it into place, before reaching down and adjusting her skirt. She looked at herself in the window of her agency. She was the Number Eight Hero, a respected pillar of society, acting like a fool, nervously pampering herself for what was evidently going to be a date with the Number Two Hero. She decided then and there that she needed to go home immediately, pretend as though a work emergency happened and spend the rest of the night scolding herself for her shamefulness.
As (Y/N) prepared to make her escape to the parking lot, the Winged Hero made his descent, those golden eyes sending shivers down her spine.
âWow, just wow.â
She stopped in her tracks, turning around with a glare of annoyance, âwatch it!â she warned, âplatonic, remember? Or else, Iâm gone.â
Hawks moved down, never resting his feet on the ground, only close enough to hover directly in front of her. âJust stating the obvious. You look incredible. Though, itâs not what I would have expected you to wear.â
His eyes trail almost sinfully over the length of her body, examining every inch of fabric on her. Or more accurately, the shocking lack of fabric. He had expected her to dress professionally, even in your downtime, maybe he assumed she was the type to wear a pantsuit to a bar. Her blouse was silk and chic, so perfectly her. It would have even matched her whole demeanor, if not for the fact that it was two buttons two short for someone so uptight, showing off some cleavage. She was even wearing a miniskirt that showed off the vast expanse of her legs all the way up to her mid thigh. Keigo had only seen her outside of her diamond form a handful of times, but he had never seen this much of her. It was honestly throwing him off.
She snapped her fingers in front of his face, forcing him to look her in the eyes. âYou said we were going to a bar, Iâm dressed appropriately for that setting. And if you leer at me again, I will report you.â
âSorry, sorry,â he laughed it off, âletâs go.â
The vein on (Y/N)âs forehead finally stopped popping, the tension falling from her shoulders as she asked him if they were taking her car or if he had his own parked somewhere. However, Keigo had other ideas, hovering slightly closer to wrap his arms around her waist. (Y/N)âs entire body stiffened, almost as though she had entered her diamond form, except Keigo could feel the softness of her body and its warmth. As she tried to process his proximity, both flustered at the feeling of his hands on her and furious at his audacity, Keigo lifted her off the ground, red wings flapping with more haste now.
(Y/N) gasped as she felt her feet leave the ground, instinctively wrapping her arms around Keigoâs neck, her knees locking around his. She watched as the plaza of her agency became smaller and smaller, until she could see the roof of her agency. She stared at him, bewildered, âwhat the hell are you doing?â
âThis is how I get around,â he explained, as though he was completely oblivious to the fact that not everyone traveled eight blocks via air travel. âCome on, (L/N), youâre off the clock, try and have some fun.â
(Y/N) felt the urge to scold him again, if for no other reason than to resist the subconscious reaction her body was having to being this close to the Winged Hero. But, he was right. She was off the clock, for once in her life. The overly professional, workaholic was convinced to go out for once. And now, when she looked down at the skyline of Fukuoka, the shining lights from office and apartment buildings and the quiet city noise, she relaxed. She loved her city, devoted everything she had into protecting it and its people. She never imagined how beautiful it would look from this distance.
âFine,â she gave in.
The bar that Keigo invited her to was, of course, roof-top. It was the nicest hotel in Fukuoka, also known for their discretion for VIP visitors, such as two pro-heroes who did not desire for their little outing to be exposed to the media, where it would surely become the headline of the month. There were few places they could go with total privacy, and (Y/N) actually appreciated his effort to maintain her low profile, as he never seemed to care about being spotted in public. That, and it was a pretty nice bar.
The drinks were especially good.Â
(Y/N) hadnât ever been the type to go clubbing or bar-hopping, the last time she had gone to a bar, it was more high class and she drank only a glass or two of wine. This bar was more like a nightclub. There was low-lighting with the few exceptions of neon lighting, that gave the whole bar a glow to it. There was loud music, and dancing. As pro-heroes, they were secluded in a VIP section, the staff more than happy to bring them whatever they desired.
She felt so deeply out of place, she could only look across the bar at the various different women. There were girls chatting lively, dancing with no shame, and dressed not too differently from her. And yet, she felt like an imposter. Maybe someone in their early twenties should be a little more comfortable in such a setting, but (Y/N) felt like she was eighty compared to them. She hadnât even noticed Keigo speaking with her, trying to break the ice by suggesting they order drinks and appetizers.
âYeah, whatever,â she muttered, dismissively.
Keigo had known (Y/N) to be cold to him, but he had really hoped she would have loosened up if they werenât in hero mode for once. But, now she appeared to be a thousand miles away, unable to tear her eyes away from the crowd of people, really looking anywhere but at him.
And in her mind, she wondered if she had completely wasted her youth. (Y/N) had sacrificed thousands of nights she could have gone out dancing with friends, canceled a dozen dates with the handful of guys she had tried dating, and even left family functions early for work. She had no life outside of it. She was proud of the career she had built, and she knew she would never give it up for anything. But, now she wondered âwhat-ifâ? She could have been more flexible. Had a better work-life balance, had a little more fun. Now, she wasnât even sure how to cut loose. It scared her.
âHey, (L/N),â Keigo raised his voice, finally catching her attention. She turned to face him. He had taken his sunglasses off now that they were indoors. She felt a familiar warmth spread across her face as she really looked at him for the first time that night. He is very handsome. He held up two tiny glasses, and extended one out to her. âI thought we could start with a few shots?â
A part of her was already beginning to overanalyze the potential consequences of saying âyesâ to his request, and contemplating excuses to leave. But, she had never done shots before. And the other part of her brain whispered that she might never get another chance, knowing her. And he looked really good, him merely gazing into her eyes was impairing her decision making more than alcohol ever could. âYeah.â
And so she took the shot.Â
And for once, (Y/N) allowed herself to have a good time.
He was right, they did have really good appetizers. Predictably, and honestly it was her fault for not listening when he was talking about ordering food, he ordered his favorite. Teriyaki chicken wings. (Y/N) asked if his fondness for eating birds was an attempt at a pun, or a genuine love for cannibalism. Keigo laughed and urged her to just try them. And they were absolutely mouthwatering. So good that she was licking her fingers clean just to get every last drop of sauce. Keigo watched intently as placed her thumb into her mouth, slowly licking it as she almost moaned in satisfaction. His whole body felt like he had been lit on fire watching her perfect lips.
They took a few more shots after they devoured their plate of wings, conversation flowing more easily with alcohol entering her system. There was an uncomfortable, flushed feeling in her face and neck, but an interesting buzz in the pit of her stomach. (Y/N) felt like she was a bore, she didnât have much to say. She didnât really want him to know that she didnât have a life, even if he already knew how uptight she was. Instead, she listened to him yap about the many things that seemed to constantly be on his mind. She wasnât really listening though, her thoughts and eyes instead watched his lips, and wondered if there were better ways he could put them to use than yapping.
Like how those lips would fit against hers, or how his teeth would feel on the pulse of her neck, or the feel of his breath against the insides of her thighs⌠She rolled her head back, trying desperately to remind herself to stop thinking about her colleague in such a salacious and unbecoming manner.
He had moved closer to her, they were now sitting knee to knee, she could lean close enough and smell his cologne and he could see the glow of intoxication on her face. âAre you drunk from two shots?â he asked.
She blinked, âis that too many or too few?â
He laughed, âyouâre a total lightweight.â
âIs that something I should be ashamed of?â She questioned, surprisingly genuinely. Keigo smiled, endeared by her insecurity about her ability to hold her liquor, he couldnât imagine (Y/N) being insecure about anything.
Keigo leaned a little closer, their shoulders brushing against each other, his hand moving to caress her knee, âyou have nothing to be ashamed of.â
They were very close. Maybe they shouldnât be. Keigo felt a little tipsy, but (Y/N) was acting so out of character with no chiding about his proximity, him touching her so personally, or staring too familiarly. Instead, she allowed it, leaning closer to him and gazing directly into his eyes. God, she had pretty eyes. And lips. And thighs, he wanted so desperately to be able to slide his hand up from her knee to go under her skirt, but he withheld the urge.
But that was the only one he could contain. Without much thought, Keigo reached out and grabbed the back of her head and kissed her. He pressed his lips against hers roughly, tasting vodka on her lips and her cherry lip gloss. He never would have guessed, and he had spent a great deal of time imagining. Keigo pulled away, when he noticed how her body had stiffened at his kiss, chiding himself for his behavior. Mistaking tipsiness for signs.
He pulled his lips away from hers, âsorry.â
Before he could pull away too far, (Y/N) grabbed his shirt and bawled it into her fist, bringing his lips back to hers. She kissed him just as roughly, if not more so, her teeth grazing his bottom lip. She slid her tongue into his mouth, wanting to taste him unabashedly. He surrendered to her, his hand gently tracing down from the back of her head, down her spine, to grab her waist.Â
They only parted when all the air was gone from both their lungs, (Y/N) reluctantly loosened her grip on his shirt. She kept her forehead against his, their mouths breathing heavily against one another, their eyes locked on the other, both hazy with lust. She leaned forward again, but Keigo turned his cheek, and her lips landed on his jaw. She growled against his stubble.
âWe shouldnât.â
âWhy not?â
âYouâre drunk.â
âNo, Iâm not.â
âOf course you are,â he sighed, it was so hard to resist her while she was breathing heavily against his skin, her mouth hot against his skin. But it was the right thing to do. He could never take advantage. â Why else would you be acting like this? You hate me, remember?â he teased.
She pouted, pulling his shirt tighter in frustration. âI donât hate you. I never hated you. I just hated the way you made me feel.â
He felt a pit form in his stomach.Â
âThe way you would stare at me without shame, barely able to conceal your lewd thoughts. And your constant flirtation.â
His hands retracted from her body. It was guilt pooling in his stomach. Keigo had always imagined it to be harmless, a part of their banter. Their charm as a duo, the whole will-they-wonât-they thing. Now, hearing aloud how much she hated it, he felt terrible. He opened his mouth to apologize, but (Y/N) spoke first, or maybe she had never finished speaking.
âDo you know how many times Iâve had to fight the urge to fuck you on every roof and every alleyway in Fukuoka when you do that shit?â
That caught him off guard. The guilt completely dissipating, his eyes shooting wide open in disbelief. But, he had fantastic hearing, even with loud music he could hear perfectly clearly. He pulled away a bit more so he could look at her face. (Y/N) looked a bit embarrassed at her confession, and more sober.
âYouâve been testing my self control and it drives me crazy,â she admitted, her lips trailed across his jaw to his neck, âI try so hard, itâs just too hard.â
Keigoâs hands returned to her waist, grasping at the fabric with urgency at her confession, his confidence returning to him with her affirmations that she wanted him as bad as he had wanted her all this time. Keigo was convinced he would have to spend months of non-dates and non-subtle flirting before she would let him touch her. He wanted to be patient, to win her over. She would be worth it, he knew it. But she already wanted him.
He looked into her eyes once more, her (e/c) eyes held a vulnerability in them. The walls had finally come crumbling down with just some liquid courage and one hell of a kiss. And hell, she was so pretty right now, he fought the urge to just kiss her immediately. (Y/N) was waiting for little more than a kiss from the looks of it. She looked almost scared. She didnât put herself out like this, ever. His next words had to be very careful.
âSo, about you fucking me on every roof and every alleyway in Fukuoka, you wanna get started on that now or?â
She shoved him off the couch, his laughter drowning out the music.
hello I have a request! could you write tamaki, eijirou, katsuki, and izukuâs reactions to their s/o sneaking up behind them and tickling them? also Iâm so sorry to hear about your old blog 𼺠I adore your writing!!
type: preference
pronouns: you/your/yourself
characters: amajiki, kirishima, bakugou, midoriya
a/n: hey... how y'all doing? sorry for ghosting this blog for so long. i hope you guys enjoy this new upload. i wanna revive this blog.
if you like demon slayer, check out my side-blog @katwatcheskny, where requests are also open.
TAMAKI AMAJIKI
+ First, I want to know why you want Tamaki to die?
+ Unless you secretly hate him, I have to imagine that you did not mean to tickle him on purpose. So, I would imagine the two of you were cuddling on the couch, your arms wrapped around him, and the intrusive thoughts won.
+ A quiet little voice in the back of your mind wondered what Tamaki would do if you just tickled him a little bit, and you acted without thinking.
+ Tamaki doesn't notice at all, whenever you two cuddle he can really zone out and actually be comfortable for once instead of his usual ball of anxiety.
+ But that all changed when (Y/N) attacked.
+ I'm sorry, but Tamaki is a screamer when he's tickled, but his screams are more like high-pitched squeals of terror. He sounds like he's being murdered.
+ Unless you are a sadist, you stop after he starts screaming and try to calm him back down. Lots of kisses on the cheeks and apologies.
+ Please, be careful. He startles easily.
EIJIRO KIRISHIMA
+ I mean, you can sneak up on him if you want to, but you probably could have just as easily asked Kiri if you could tickle him. But, you do you.
+ I could see the two of you having a little game between the two of you where you both try to catch the other off guard by tickling each other.
+ And this time, you got him good.
+ Eijiro was busy talking to one of his friends when you ran up behind him and started ferociously tickling him all over his sides and stomach.
+ He definitely is the type that laughs when you tickle him.
+ âYou got me! You got me!â He laughs, in mock surrender, before he reaches back and tries to tickle you back, âIâm gonna get you!â
+ Soon, the two of you are on the ground trying to tickle the other one more. Honestly, this is a more common occurrence than youâd think.
+ Sero just looks down at you two maniacs. Just tired of your antics.
+ He steps over the two of you, walking away as the two of you continue to roll around until you both decide to call for a truce.
+ âI got you, Eijiro,â you declare.
+ âNo, I got you back just as good, itâs a tie!â
+ âSore loser,â you stick your tongue out at him.
KATSUKI BAKUGOU
+ You must have a death wish if you pull this crap with him.
+ I mean it, you are either the bravest person or the dumbest person that God placed on this great green earth if you decide to sneak up behind Katsuki Bakugou and tickle him.
+ Katsuki probably hates it when you come up behind him and do that thing where you cover his eyes and ask, âguess who?â
+ He just shrugs you off, really annoyed, âI know itâs you dumbass.â
And then you both resume to business as usual. It is a minor annoyance that honestly doesnât bother him that much, heâs just a hot-head. His love for you outweighs many of his pet peeves.
+ Not all of them, though.
+ And if you decide to sneak up behind him, heâll just assume youâre doing your whole lame âguess who?â crap, but no, you start tickling his sides instead, much to his utter shock and seething rage.
+ He may love you but you have chosen death.
+ Like, genuinely, run for your life.
+ He lets out the most guttural sound as rage begins to fill every inch of his body as he immediately separates himself from you.
+ He tries his best to suppress his murderous rage as he watches you trying to suppress your laughter, âit was just a joke, Katsuki.â
+ âJust a joke? Youâre so funny,â not a hint of laughter in those eyes or his unhinged grin, he begins cringing his hands, âyouâre in for it now, dumbass.â
+ Run.
IZUKU MIDORIYA
+ He one-hundred percent loves cutesy stuff like having you come up behind him, placing your hands over his eyes, and asking âguess who?â
+ His heart just swells with so much affection for you.
+ So, when he senses you coming up behind him, tiptoeing as to not be detected (even though he very much detected you), heâs excited.
+ Then, one of the greatest betrayals in anime history happens.
+ Instead of lovingly placing your hands over his eyes, instead you bring your hands to his midsection, and begin merciously tickling him.
+ Izuku is extraordinarily ticklish, even just slightly brushing a finger over his side is enough to have this man on the ground.
+ Heâs more the type to laugh when tickled than scream.
+ But itâs an uncontrollable, honestly unhinged involuntary kind of laughter.Â
+ He tries to beg for mercy, as you sit over him, continuing to tickle him even though heâs already on the ground, but all he can do is laugh like a madman until his vision begins to blur.
+ By the time you're finished tickling him, he has passed out.
+ It hasnât even been a minute, but his whole body is collapsed but his eyes are still wide open, almost glazed over with tears from the laughter.
+ When he finally regains consciousness, he just whispers, âwhy?â

hey!!! i'm not sure if anyone has already asked u abt this but what happened to that k-12 mha series u hadđ˘ i really loved it but i can't find it anymore to reread it!!
hi anon!
thankfully, I did have all those saved because i had been planning them for months before posting. right now, I am editing them and plan to reupload them.
so if you liked my k-12 series, please stay tuned.
can i request high school shoji / shinso / sero reaction to their crush making the first move? ( pls no cocky reader)
their crush makes the first move
type: preference
pronouns: you/your/yourself
characters: shoji, shinsou, sero
a/n: hello! sorry for not updating in so long. this was my first time writing for shoji, it's fun to write for the members of class a that don't get as much attention. there are minor spoilers for his backstory, so please skip it if you aren't caught up to chapter 370 (they are minor background spoilers, but i want to be safe).
if you like demon slayer, check out my side-blog @katwatcheskny, where requests are also open.
MEZO SHOJI
+ Shoji would definately appreciate you making the first move.
+ Due to his upbringing, being shunned and bullied for being a heteromorph, he can sometimes be withdrawn as a coping mechanism. Being at UA has opened him up, but he's still scarred from the trauma, emotional and physical.
+ With you, I think Shoji would keep his distance. Telling himself someone like you wouldn't like him back. His self-esteem is through the floor.
+ So, if you actively pursue him, he's gonna fall.
+ He's still too afraid to be vulnerable. Too afraid that he's mistaking basic acts of kindness for friendship or mutual interest. So, please do not be subtle.
+ No, "i like you", it needs to be "i LIKE you".
+ It's a bit of a slow burn, Shoji needs to build that foundation of trust, but you taking that lead and guiding him through it is a beautiful thing.
HITOSHI SHINSOU
+ He likes you taking the lead because he's very socially passive.
+ Hitoshi rarely makes an effort to interact. He is an introvert who just naturally gets adopted by extroverts to gain socialization.
+ However, when he likes someone, I do think he wouldn't be shy about making the first move. He is a go-getter when it comes to what he really wants.
+ So, Hitoshi is going to make some early steps to get closer to you before he's ready to make the real first move. He's not one for grand displays of affection, so he's subtle at first (or is he just working up the nerve to actually make the first move?)
+ And then you pull an uno-reverse and ask him out.
+ You will catch him a little flustered for the first time, he's blushing a bit, trying to hide it in his scarf. He's very flattered but he's still trying to seem mysterious.
HANTA SERO
+ I usually headcanon Sero as having some game (especially in comparison to the rest of the bakusquad, which decidedly don't have any).
+ And I am not about to contradict myself.
+ Sero has decent self-confidence and doesn't really think less of himself or feel weighed down by insecurity. He thinks he's a cool guy and understands why people like to be around him. He's also not afraid to make a first move.
+ So, when he realizes he likes you as more than a friend, Sero is not going to be shy about making a move. So, you must have worked fast.
+ I'm talking like, Sero asked you, "are you doing anything this weekend?"
+ "No, I was waiting to see if you had anything planned." He's a little surprised, "I don't have anything planned." You smile, "great, then do you wanna go out?"
+ Oh, you got him good. And he respects that. He smirks, "that sounds great. Been waiting for you to ask me all week."
summary: the worst part of having secrets is that they can leave you isolated by design. there are only two people in the world that (y/n) does not keep secrets from. well, one now.
a/n: hello! this was like the second imagine i ever wrote, i can remember this very clearly. if you don't know, my blog got deleted so this is a reupload. i liked this first part, but i really loved the second part that i wrote a while back, and am planning a third one based on popular demand at the time. so i hope you guys still like it.
and if you like demon slayer, check out my side-blog @katwatcheskny, where requests are also open.
part one

âItâs over.â
She shouldnât have been as surprised as she was. Katsuki had been avoiding her all week. At first she thought she was being too clingy, wanting to spend too much time together. She told herself she was expecting too much for him to hang out with her after classes everyday or text her the usual goodnight message he had since they started dating. But she knew something was wrong with him when he looked at her with those vermillion eyes. It had been a hopeful wish that it was something else, anything else.
He didnât look at her, he hadnât looked at her since he asked to speak with her privately in her room. Katsukiâs expression was solemn as he stared at the wall as she crumbled down beside him. He looked uncaring. So unlike the person she had thought she had been dating, who she hoped he had been becoming. The kind of person she didnât accept would break her heart so easily.
âThis is becoming a distraction.â
âBullshit!â (Y/N) screamed, unable to keep her rage within herself. She looked at him with her eyes glazed over, tears threatening to fall if she even blinked too hard, her hands balled into fists as she gripped her shirt. Katsuki didnât even need to look at her to feel the anger of those (e/c) eyes.
âIâm falling behind that shitty Deku and even that fucking half and half bastard, I canât waste my time with you anymore,â he explained.
She couldnât help but laugh at his statement, not her usual joyous laughter that came easily to her, but an almost hysterical and dark laughter as she grabbed her face. She couldnât believe what he had said. It was the most cliche Katsuki reasoning he could have said when breaking up with her. Another shame on her for not realizing that he was willing to sacrifice anything for his goals, and she was just another expendable extra in his path to be number one.
âItâs really sad, Katsuki,â she spoke.
Her laughter died out as she looked over at him with a sad smile tugged at the side of her mouth and silent tears rolling down her face. This time he looked at her, and despite the smile that was on her face to keep her from sobbing in front of him, he could see all her pain. His eyes widened in surprise.
âI hope you do become number one someday, so when you reach that stupid rank, you realize just how hollow it is when youâre all alone after all the bridges youâve burnt down- the friendships you ruined or refused to even have, or wherever the hell this could have gone. I hope you never regret this because there is no turning back if itâs over,â (Y/N) spewed venom in every word.
Katsukiâs mind went completely blank, not able to think of a single word to say in response, but his eyes couldnât look away from her. That would be the image of her that would always be embedded in his mind when he thought of her.
There was a silence between the two. She couldnât decide if she wanted him to say anything or if she preferred the silence. Eventually she couldnât stand the sight of him and stared at the ground, wanting to scream at each tear that kept running down her cheeks as tried to stop them from falling in the first place.
Eventually he stood up after what felt like forever, he was still once he was on his feet. He didnât look at her as he stood there, knowing his presence was no longer appreciated. This had been the room their haven when they first started dating, where they could freely kiss and hold each other without having to worry who saw. Where they shared their thoughts with one another. Katsuki couldnât lie and say he wasnât happy being in here with her. It was just a luxury he could no longer afford. And he simply had to accept it.
As he walked towards the door he stopped for a moment. Despite his conviction to stand by his decision, he still cared about her. âIâm sorry, (Y/N).â
When he closed the door behind him, she allowed herself to begin sobbing. The noises she made were horrible as she cried out into the night until she couldnât stand the sound of herself and tried to bury it in a pillow. When she was done crying, her eyes were puffy and red, her face felt wet but dried over, her entire body was exhausted but her mind was racing too much to sleep. She began to feel physically ill even thinking about the break up.
She had been a fool. Anyone would have told her it was a matter of time before Katsuki would have broken up with her for that exact reason. Why did she believe she was special to him in any way? Clearly she wasnât considering the half assed break up he gave her. After being each otherâs first kisses, first dates, first serious relationship, and even meeting each otherâs parents, he was even one of the few who knew she was a Yagi, and yet he still couldnât talk with her before shattering her heart. Thatâs how little she meant to him.
But her anger rose with her sadness, particularly at the last thing he said to her. How he was sorry. Katsuki had never apologized to her for anything, and it felt like a slap in the face that he would break her heart and then apologize like that. Making it seemed like he still cared, but clearly not enough. It was infuriating.Â
She couldnât even sleep with how conflicted she was feeling.
By the time she tired herself out, she only got two hours of rest before Ashido and Hagakure came happily knocking at her door for morning showers.Â
When she opened the door and they saw her red eyes and fatigued body, worried questions began as they started inspecting her. (Y/N) forced a smile and lied that she had been sick the previous night. They believed her, but she doubted anyone else would believe her.
(Y/N) had dreaded every moment she had spent getting ready for class. Every moment was another moment until she had to see him again- a prospect that used to excite her to see his ash blonde hair at the front of the class with a bored look or already enraged with someone. Now she dreaded it. She tried her best to force a smile as Mina grabbed her arm and pulled her excitedly to the building. Her energy had always been infectious, but she wasnât feeling particularly happy and even faking it was limiting.
When they finally reached the classroom, the first thing she noticed was Katsuki sitting at his desk ready for class early as always. Despite his delinquent-like appearance, he was a model student in many regards. His eyes found hers immediately and she felt completely paralyzed under his gaze. It was so unlike when they first met and his gaze captivated her in a way that made her heart pound, now it felt like he was rubbing salt in her wound.
She couldnât even hear Kirishima wave her over, she barely noticed how he and Kaminari were standing beside Katsuki talking. The idea of being near him and having to act like nothing happened because none of them knew they had been dating. Would she have to avoid the friends she had made all year because of him? Just when she imagined the worst had happened, she had failed to notice the fallout of everything else. The ill feeling returned as it racked through her body and she subconsciously grabbed her body.
â(L/N) are you okay?â Sero asked, looking at her with a worried expression. Mina looked at her with surprised eyes as she tried to reach out.
âShe said she wasnât feeling too good,â Mina explained to her friends, before turning to her, âI thought you said you were feeling better?â
âYeah, I thought I was,â she whispered.
âDo you want me to take you to the nurse?â he questioned.
She shook her head, unable to speak as she felt eyes starting to look at her. She knew that Kaminari and Kirishima were trying to rush over, worried about her current state as the thoughtful friends she knew they were. Midoriya was also looking at her with a shocked expression, but he was always slower to react. Everyone else seemed worried about her except for Katsuki. He looked unbothered, completely quiet and not even looking at her anymore.
Without a thought she ran out of the classroom despite them calling out for her to stop or questioning her. She wasnât even sure where she was running to, just that she needed to leave. She could stand there anymore with everyone looking at her, trying to figure out what was wrong but she couldnât even begin to explain. Kirishima was the only one who knew, judging by how he was acting, Katsuki hadnât told him. She didnât want him to know either, at least not when she was a sobbing mess. He was too good of a guy, heâd probably fight Katsuki for her honor, and she didnât want to be the reason their friendship dissolved.
She found herself at the farthest girlâs bathroom from her classroom and hoped that no one had followed her as she locked herself in one of the stalls and began weeping. Unashamed at the horrible noises she was making, her neck felt so tight and heavy she could barely breathe. She didnât care about class or what trouble she would get in. She didnât care if she caused a panic with her disappearance or whatever grief this would cause her class. Instead she thought about was the one person she wanted to find who she wouldnât even look at.
â(Y/N)?âÂ
âPapa?â she weakly croaked, surprised by the voice that she felt compelled to speak regardless of her current state. She began rubbing her eyes and trying her best to stop the crying as she pulled her knees to her chest.
He closed the door behind him, feeling ashamed to be in the young womenâs room as a grown man, but his paternal instinct to find his daughter when she was obviously crying outweighed his bashfulness. Toshinori walked in and tried his best to follow the noise to a locked stall and pressed against the plastic.
âHowâd you find me?â she asked, a hiccup between her sad words.
âIâd like to say that my fatherly senses activate when you get sad,â he began, even though there was obvious worry in his voice, he tried to have a jovial sound to his voice, hoping it would cheer her up a bit. Instead there was only the sound of sniffling from his end. âBut the truth is that Young Midoriya texted me before homeroom started that you had run off, Kirishima-shounen and Sero-shounen wanted to chase after you but Aizawa showed up and stopped them,â he explained.
She clicked her tongue, unsurprised the two of them would have tried to run after her. She almost cracked a smile. (Y/N) was also not surprised that it was Midoriya who texted her father, the two had become close over the last year because she was the only one who knew about One For All and how he was the current holder. She rubbed her eyes and rested her head on the stall wall.
âWhatâs wrong, (Y/N)?â he asked, worry laced into every word. She knew he was resting his hand on the door, as if he was trying to reach in and hold her hand. âThis isnât like you, did something happen?â
She wanted to bite her tongue.
She wanted to be able to wipe her face clean and leave the stall with a bright smile and some excuse that she was feeling better.
She wanted to go to class and act like nothing happened.
But she had promised him she would be honest with him. He was the only one she could be honest with anymore. He was the only one she wasnât hiding something from and who hadnât hurt her. She couldnât lie to her father anymore about anything. Not when thoughts that if she had been honest with him in the beginning maybe she would have known she had been making a big mistake.
âKatsuki and I broke up.â
She could barely get the words out before she was sobbing again, trying her best to keep her eyes shut as tears continued to stream down her face in vicious sobs. She felt so pathetic crying with her father on the other side of the stall, even if he couldnât see her. Like she was some little girl crying over her broken doll or ripped stuffed toy.
This was the first time she had told anyone, all the words seemed foreign and hurt to even say. The worst part was saying his name aloud. Did she even have the right to call him by his name? He left her when they first started dating because of how close they were, but she could never imagine being that close to him with how she was feeling now.
All Might was shocked, unable to find words as he listened to her quiet sobs, feeling his own heart breaking at the horrid sound. He was shocked that the two had broken up when not too long ago he was first learning they were together. That first night when he saw them together, he never saw his daughter so happy and carefree or Katsuki so calm and composed. Despite his own overprotective instincts, they seemed happy and good together. He had even given his blessing despite his reservations about it.
âIâm so sorry, sweetheart,â he spoke.Â
âDonât be sorry,â she hiccuped, âyou didnât do anything.â
âNo, but Iâm sorry I couldnât do anything,â he responded. âI wish there was something I could do or say that would make it better, but I know I canât.â
âI donât want you to feel bad too,â she squeaked, tears continuing to fall down her face no matter how aggressively she tried to wipe her face.
âHow can I not? My little girl just got her heart broken?â he croaked.
âOh, papa,â she sighed, placing her hand on the door alongside his.Â
Even though there was a fair amount of plastic between their hands, she could feel his hand against hers in some phantom memory from all the times he would hold her hand when she was a little girl. There was some comfort to be found from the action, a comfort she had needed but was too ashamed to ask for.
He carefully asked, âcan I ask what happened?â
âYeah,â she nodded, her throat closing up with a knot in her stomach as her mind relieved that moment for what felt like the thousandth time that day. âHe told me I was too much of a distraction to becoming number one.â
Toshinori didnât even know how to respond. He had been encouraged by Katsukiâs goal to become the number one hero someday, but he never imagined he would hurt his daughter in the name of that goal. Although he knew he had probably hurt people before even unintentionally while being the symbol of peace. But he never would have told someone they were a âdistractionâ as if they werenât a person whose feelings mattered.
âIâm sorry he would say something like that to you,â he began, before she cut him off with a hoarse and tear-filled voice.
âPlease can people stop apologizing, you havenât done anything wrong, you have nothing to be sorry about,â she snapped burying her face in her hands, and Katsuki wouldnât have broken up with me if he knew it was wrong.Â
âI donât know what else I can say,â Toshinori explained, trying to peep between the stall door and the other stall, hoping to catch a glimpse of her, only being able to imagine the state she was in. It was killing him to not be able to just wrap his arms around her and hope it would communicate all the words that were failing him now. âYou didnât deserve to be broken up with because of things out of your control. Young Bakugou shouldnât have made you feel like it was your fault. I know Iâm your father and that no man is ever going to be good enough for you by my standards, but you deserve better than him.â
âB-but I donât want better,â she stuttered, âI want him.â
(Y/N) had been lying to herself when she acted as if she hadnât woken up this morning hoping that the previous night had been some horrible dream and that when she saw Katsuki they would still be together. There was a part of herself that hated how she still wanted to be with him, how she would get back with him if he asked because he always made her weak for him like that.Â
âThatâs okay to feel like that,â he replied, a small smile tugging at his mouth, âyouâre young, heâs the first person you ever had those feelings for. The first time theyâre always the strongest and they make you foolish. But I promise you that eventually youâre going to find someone else who makes you feel that amazing feeling but will never let you feel like this.â
âBut why couldnât it have been him?âÂ
âI donât know what is going on in Young Bakugouâs heart, he makes rash and emotional decisions sometimes. He pushes others away and refuses help. Maybe this had to happen for something better,â he shrugged, âor maybe itâs just a stop in the road before you get back together when youâre older and more mature. Or maybe youâre just teenagers and one day this will all seem silly.â
âGod, I feel so stupid,â she muttered, her tears had slowed down, able to keep them in her eyes instead of continuous streams down her now stained cheeks. She pulled toilet paper to clean her face and blow her nose, as she silently hiccuped. âHow am I going to go back there?â (Y/N) whined.
âIt might be an abuse of power, but maybe weâll just say you needed an hour of rest after being ill to recuperate. You can come take a nap in the counseling office with me,â he offered, hopeful that she would open the door finally.Â
A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, âyouâd do that for me?â
âIâd do anything for you, sweetheart,â he assured.
Collecting herself, she leaned over and unlocked the door. (Y/N) knew there shouldnât be any shame in letting her father see her. She also wanted to stop crying in a bathroom stall, it was getting to be almost as upsetting as the breakup. He stepped back as she gently swung the door open.
He looked at her tear soaked face and her red eyes, he swore she was three years old again when she used to come running to him, needing his protection or love when she was feeling sad or scared. Toshinori had spent so much time coming to terms with how much his daughter had grown up and was a young lady and not his baby anymore, it was a complete shock.
Wrapping his arms around her, towering over her as his paper thin arms wrapped around her as tightly as he could and rested his head on top of hers. (Y/N) seemed hesitant to react at first, but soon he felt her wrap her arms around him, digging her finger into his back as she held on tightly as if he was going to let go at some point. Toshinori never wanted to let go of her.
If he still had One For All, he probably would have wanted to brutalize the young hero-in-training for how he hurt his daughter, but he tried to remind himself that Katsuki must have had his reasons. You donât hurt people you care that much about unless you have a good reason to do so. One he hoped was better than what he had told (Y/N) anyways.
He pulled back and started wiping her face, putting a large smile on his face as he had always been known for. âNow letâs clean you up so I can see your cute face? Then you can take a nap while I get you some snacks.â
summary: for most of her life, (Y/N) had to keep secrets from almost everyone in her life. well, except her father. that was until she started to keep a secret about a certain ill-tempered blonde.

(Y/N) didnât have secrets from her father. They had plenty of secrets from the rest of the world, but they were always honest and open with each other. She was even one of the few who knew about one for all and her fatherâs declining state before his abrupt retirement. (Y/N) Yagi, publicly known as (Y/N) (L/N)- her motherâs surname to protect her from those who would want revenge on All Might -loved and trusted her father just as much as he did her.Â
They got together every Sunday to eat dinner together after she started living in the dorms. It was their tradition to cook a meal and talk about their week. He never really had anything new to add, usually talking about what happened in the teacherâs lounge, but he loved watching her face light up as she told him everything that was happening in her class and with her classmates. It was a relief to have someone she knew she could say anything she wanted to.
Which was why she had felt so miserable the past few weeks. For once she had a secret from her father and she was feeling guilty for how happy she was.
So she argued, why not share that happiness with her father? He was such a loving person, he was so happy his daughter was in such a great and serious relationship. That she was becoming a woman.
Except, she knew in fact that wasnât true.Â
Part of (Y/N) was sure her father was going to die of shock and horror when she told him. Despite the fact that she was sixteen years old and it was normal for her to take an interest in boys, and the fact that she was a hero-in-training and had fought villains already, he still thought of her as his little girl.
This was an image she had done very little to undo. In truth, she loved being his little girl. The best part of her week had always been standing in the kitchen with her father and putting together just a meal for the two of them. Some people might have thought it would be lonely, especially after her mother passed and Sir Nighteye stopped coming, but they enjoyed spending time together. She didnât want their relationship to change.
But she knew this was too serious to keep hiding from her father. If she was serious about this relationship she owed the truth. Also when mentioning how she wouldnât be free because of a family dinner, she may have blurted out that he could come too. Now she was caught between a rock and a hard place, which meant she was forced to have to tell her father.
She stood outside the teacherâs office and tried to hype herself up enough to go inside, before being forced to go inside to hide from Jirou and Yaoyorozu who were coming down the hallway and could potentially catch her. Once inside all the teachers turned to her and she let out a nervous smile and wave.
The faculty were the only people in UA that knew she was the daughter of the Number One hero, hell she was his freaking screensaver. So they eventually turned away from her and went back to work while she walked over to her fatherâs desk. Suddenly she wished she had texted him instead. Goddamn him for raising her to be direct and responsible.Â
âOh, (Y/N), what do I owe the pleasure?!â He excitedly responded, bending down to pick her up into a tight embrace with all the strength he had left before having to quickly place her back down because of his weakened state.
âHi papa,â she greeted, meekly.
âIs everything okay?â He asked, sitting down on his chair but still smiling up at her, âyou usually donât come to see me during the school day. Not that Iâm complaining, I love it when you visit me.â
A pang of guilt straight through her heart. Another secret for another time.
She started twiddling her thumbs, feeling even more guilty with how sweet and loving her father was and how she was about to completely betray all the trust that had between them. She felt her heart pound in her ears and tried hard to keep her breathing still. âI just need to talk to you about something.â
He became concerned. He thought his daughter was more confident and direct than this, on top of that it was unusual for her to be contacting him at school. Toshinori became overwhelmed with worry. He started to examine her, was there something wrong with her. âWhat is it? What can I do? Did someone say something? Do something?â
âNo, papa, calm down,â she raised her hands out reassuringly. She knew his mind would immediately overreact. âIâm okay, really. Itâs just Iâve gotta share some news with you that you arenât going to be happy about. In fact, Iâm worried itâs going to affect our relationship, and the way you see me.â
â(Y/N), nothing is going to change the way I feel about you or our relationship, I love you,â he assured her, which she could hear Midnight and Present Mic awe at quietly behind their desks, pretending like they werenât listening. She looked at them and rolled her eyes before turning back to the endless adoration of her father.
âI love you too, papa,â she replied, before whispering under her breath, âplease remember that after what I say nextâŚâ
Looking at him, he looked like a puppy. So happy and eager. Now she felt like she was going to be kicking a puppy. But she tried to power through.
âIâvebeenseeingthisboyfromclassforaboutthreemonthsanditwascasualnolabelsatfirstbutnowweârekindofofficalwhichmeansIwanthimtomeetyoubecausethisrelationshipisthatimportanttomesoheâllbejoiningusforourfamilydinner,â she mumbled before leaning down and swiftly kissing his cheek, âlove you, bye,â she said more clearly, then turned on her heels quickly and storming out of the office.
To say that Toshinori was stunned by this would have been an understatement.
She had a boyfriend.
Correction, his precious little girl, his baby angel, had been in a relationship that was supposedly serious for the past three months with some boy in her class. Some boy who had been living in the same dorm as her. A relationship that he didnât have the slightest clue about. The first secret she had kept from him.
How could he have not noticed before? Had he been blinded before, not seeing her as a young woman interacting with teenage boys, not noticing the hints of attraction?Â
Sheâs always with Young Kirishima, always talking and laughing excitedly. They seemed like good friends, or maybe there was more there than he thoughtâŚ
She sat next to Young Todoroki during class and talked to him often. But he is Endeavorâs son. Which was no. Just no.
But the one she was closest to had to be Young Midoriya. He was a good young man, and she knew he was the current carrier of one for all. It wouldnât be the worst option. Of course, he would still have to beat Young Midoriya for getting involved with his daughter behind his back. But then he would happily welcome him into the family.
He sighed and rubbed his temples, pretending like he couldnât hear Midnight and Present Mic giggling amongst each other. This was a day he had ignored for so many years, so now he just hoped it was someone who was kind and treated her gently with patience.
âWhere the hell are we going?â Katsuki groaned, hands in his pockets as he was following her, barely even twenty feet out of the dorm and he was already bored and annoyed. âWeâre not even out of UA.â
âYouâll see~â she muttered, trying to evade it as long as possible.
Her relationship with Katsuki was complicated. For a long time she thought he hated her, but it became clear he just didnât know how to express himself properly. During the first few weeks after they started their ârelationshipâ she was still in shock that he was even interested in her. Katsuki was the one who suggested that their relationship should be a secret because he didnât want anyone else to get involved with their opinions and annoying attitudes.Â
They had managed to keep it a secret for a long time, longer than they thought. Katsuki mainly acted the same in class and around the common areas of the dorm, but when they were alone in one of their rooms, he was different in a lot of ways she noticed. More thoughtful.Â
In fact, it was while in Katsukiâs room, sharing a kiss they were caught by Kirishima because he didnât understand boundaries and knocking. After (Y/N) got Katsuki off him, he swore to secrecy, but they both knew it was only a matter of time before other people in their class would catch on. On top of that, it was a serious relationship, he was her boyfriend now. Just saying it made her heart soar. Which meant it couldnât be a secret anymore.
She suggested that they should meet each otherâs parents before letting everyone in their class know. Katsuki was less than thrilled at the prospect of (Y/N) meeting his parents, but she watched him call his mother to make arrangements for them to come over for lunch. But first, she had nervously accidentally invited him to have dinner with her father.
However, Katsuki didnât know she was the daughter of All Might. It wasnât a secret she was keeping on purpose, she had decided to enroll under her motherâs surname to earn her place as a hero rather than riding off the success of her father. She had just never bothered to tell him the truth. Oh well, he was going to know after tonight.
Even though she knew that they had already met, she wanted him to make a good impression as her boyfriend, not just another student. She reached out and held his hand. âKatsuki, I want you to promise me that youâll be on your best behavior tonight,â she pleaded, in her sweetest tone.
âEh?â He responded, looking at her confused but also kind of pissed off.
She raised up a hand defensively, âI mean obviously I appreciate everything about you, I mean you are my boyfriend after all, but you are an acquired taste, Katsuki. And I just want everything to go smoothly because my dad is really overprotective. So if you could dial it down like ten percent, I would be really grateful,â she smiled widely, interlocking their fingers.Â
He looked really annoyed. Katsuki didnât change himself for anyone and was almost unapologetic about every action he did and every word that he said, regardless of how it made others think about him. But he did want her father to like him because he could see how important it was to her. So he reluctantly nodded, while grinding his teeth in annoyance.
She grinned, âokay, letâs go then.âÂ
Without giving him a moment to think, she ran forward, tightly gripping his hand to lead him to the faculty building. Katsuki was screaming at her to slow down and stop dragging him, but she ignored him, it would be easier to jump into things head first. Once they were inside the building, she opened the door with her spare keys and quickly ushered him into her fatherâs house on campus.
âPapa, weâre here!â She announced, quickly taking off her shoes and neatly leaving them at the door. Katsuki was still confused, looking around, wondering which member of the faculty was her father. At least it wasnât Aizawa, that would have been a nightmare.Â
â(Y/N)!â A voice called back, walking down the hallway. Katsuki froze when he heard the voice, it was incredibly recognizable and he knew he couldnât be confusing it with another. But it was impossible, the two of you looked nothing alike, there was no way the girl he fell for could be related toâŚ
âALL MIGHT?!â
âYoung Bakugou?!â
They both screamed in unison, with (Y/N) crouching over and covering her ears to avoid the sound. The two actually reacted more than she first anticipated they would. At least Katsuki hadnât blown anything up and her father wasnât threatening to lock her in a closet until she was thirty. She took the opportunity during their shock to start moving away towards the kitchen.
She smiled while rubbing the back of her head, ânow that introductions are out of the way, what are we having tonight? Katsukiâs a great cook.â
â(Y/N), young lady, you get back here this instant!â
âWhere the hell do you think youâre going?!â
They both responded, her father with a disciplinary tone and Katsuki was absolutely infuriated. She stopped dead in her tracks, turning to them with a half-smile, knowing that there was no quick escape from the inevitable.
âHow could you not tell me that your father was All Might?!â
âHow could you not tell me you were dating Young Bakugou?!â
âStop speaking at the same time as me!â Katsuki barked at the former number one hero, clearly frustrated with the whole situation.
âWell you see,â she began, taking a deep breath because it was going to be an excruciating long time to explain it all correctly. She pointed at Katsuki and spoke quickly, âI didnât tell you about who my dad was because when I was young I used to be judged all the time by who my father was, none of my merits could be my own. I didnât want to live in his shadow my entire life, so I decided that I wanted to register in UA using my motherâs name, and I havenât told anyone because I wanted you guys to like me for me. But I invited you here now because I know I can trust you and your feelings for me regardless of who my father is.â She took another breath and then continued just as quickly, pointing at her father now, âand I didnât tell you because Iâm not a little girl anymore. I know weâve always been close and I want to stay this close but some things are just mine. I wanted to see where my relationship with Katsuki went before I told you. Iâm sorry I didnât tell you, but as a sixteen year old girl I am entitled to have secrets about who Iâm dating until Iâm ready to share with you.â
Both of them looked at her in shock, while she bent over and started breathing heavily after all the air she lost speaking so quickly. Katsukiâs anger seemed to simmer down from where it was before. He was mad for no reason before, he just didnât like surprises. Toshinori started to hold his heart. He looked down at Katsuki, and despite his confusion over where this relationship came from, he was finally starting to see that she was maturing.
âNow can we just have dinner already?!â She asked, cheeks red.
Toshinori smiled his usual bright grin, placing a hand on Katsukiâs shoulder, âyes, itâs getting late, we should start preparing the meal. I was thinking maybe a curry. Do you have any food aversions, Young Bakugou?â
Usually Katsuki would have brushed his hand away, but he remembered the promise he made to (Y/N) and so he just started scowling. âNo.â
âKatsuki likes spicy food, so weâll make his plate super spicy!â she beamed, already in the kitchen putting on her apron as the two men started walking down the hall.Â
Toshinori noted how they were on a first name basis, which meant it really was as serious as she claimed it was in his office.
âDad, you can start the rice, while Katsuki and I will cut the vegetables.â
(Y/N) ran over and pulled Katsuki to wash their hands, and he started barking at her to stop telling him what to do, but still watched his hands and followed her to the cutting board. He started with the carrots and she cut the peppers.
âThis reminds me of the training camp,â she sighed, leaning into Katsuki with a bright grin. âRemember when we had to make our own food, everyone was so shocked to find out how skilled you were at cooking.â
âItâs not my fault they're so bad at everything,â he replied, âIcyhotâs piss-poor attempt at cutting carrots was pathetic.â
âIt took Iida an hour to learn how to peel a potato,â she laughed.
Toshinori watched the two of them for a moment after he got the rice boiling on the stove. For a moment the two looked like a real couple, and for a moment he thought he was staring into the future of a married couple reminiscing about their high school years while they cooked dinner, maybe a child or two would come running in trying to steal some dessert before dinner before getting lightly scolded. While he was the old man they visited once a year. He was not ready to be some sad old grandfather, and was not ready to see her grow up that much.
He moved to break them apart, moving between the two and smiled at his daughter, â(Y/N), Young Bakugou seems to be doing fine cutting the vegetables on his own, so you should come and help me get the chicken ready, itâs already done defrosting in the sink, come help me prepare it?â
She blinked for a few seconds, âokay.â
She moved across the kitchen and started helping her father with slicing the chicken and then seasoning it, while Katsuki quickly finished slicing up the vegetables and placing them neatly to the side. Once she finished with the chicken she turned to her father with a smile.
âAll done,â she announced, âhow about you finish cooking the chicken and vegetables while Katsuki and I set the table.â
Katsuki put his hands in his pocket and walked out of the room, she smiled at her father one last time and ran into the dining area.
She wrapped her arms around him while he was setting down the placemats for the three of them, he looked at her ticked off. (Y/N) however was unrelenting, keeping her arms around him. âSee, this is not so bad,â she said. âHeâs just like any other father, trying desperately to keep his little girl away from her bad influence boyfriend.â
ââbad influence?ââ He asked.
âUm hmm,â she hummed, âwith your delinquent attitude.â
âSays the one who canât keep her hands off me,â he retorted, placing the plates down and refusing to make eye contact with her anymore.
She leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, âIâm just proud of how well youâre behaving. Even if you donât win him over, youâve won me over for sure.âÂ
âLike it was hard,â he replied, leaning down to meet her lips.
âUh hum,â Toshinori faked cleared his throat to get their attention, which got them to separate quickly, with both their faces red with embarrassments, and quickly finishing setting the table as they were supposed to rather than flirting, as he brought the food out and set it down on the table for dinner.
(Y/N) quickly ran back to the kitchen and brought back hot sauce for Katsuki and sat between the two, preparing to have dinner together.
After a dinner where (Y/N) guided the conversation primarily, knowing that Katsuki wasnât much of a talker, she mostly talked about her day and what Kaminari and Kirishima got into at school and the new dance move Mina had taught her. Once dinner was over, she had to force her father to take it easily and let her and Katsuki clear the table and wash the dishes. He mumbled but went along with her and made sure the dishes were absolutely spotless before they prepared to leave back for the dorms to get some rest.
(Y/N) wrapped her arms around her father as best she could, considering his towering stature. He rested his head on hers, taking in some more time with his daughter before he didnât see her intimately for another week. She pulled away and smiled, âthis was great wasnât it?â
He nodded his head, âit was. Young Bakugou, you were very helpful.âÂ
âThe food was good,â Katsuki replied, starting to walk away towards the dorms slowly, to give her a moment alone with her father.
She looked up at her father breaking their embrace a bit, with a mix of anxiousness, âso what do you think? I know youâve already known him for a long time, but what do you think about him as my boyfriend?â
âHe makes you really happy,â he replied.
âHe does,â she nodded.
Toshinori sighed, âthen I want nothing more for you two to continue to be happy together. Just donât hide the special moments in your life from me anymore, (Y/N). I love you.â
She hugged him tighter. âI love you too, papa. Iâll see you later.â
He grinned and rubbed her head, breaking the hug to watch her descend the stairs of the building before he went back inside, actually pleasantly content with how the night had been. Despite Katsukiâs attempts to seem clouded in annoyance or anger, he was always eager to help and engage with (Y/N), treating her with his own type of kindness that he was grateful for.
(Y/N) ran on a mile high after getting her fatherâs approval, she felt like she was practically floating as she dashed down the pavement. She eventually caught up to Katsuki, but rather than moving to walk by his side and maybe hold his hand a little longer before they got to the dorm, she was feeling particularly playful and decided to jump on his back for an impromptu piggyback ride.
âWhat the hell, (Y/N)?â he screamed, grabbing the underside of her knees to keep her up while she wrapped her arms around his neck.
âHe loved you,â she announced.
âTch, why are you so shocked?!â He retorted, âI got you, didnât I?!â Â
âYes, you did!â she replied joyfully, kissing his cheek a hundred times, which caused him to nearly drop them both into a bush as he struggled to walk straight. But all that could be heard was her laughter as they stumbled home.

You were brought into the league of villains as their healer by All For One to heal Tomura's hand after the USJ attack.
No way is he just letting some random person touch him. He tries to decay your hand when you reach out to him, but nothing happens.
Heâs just standing there dumbfounded, holding your hand, and youâre mildly annoyed, like, âcan I do my job now?â
Doesnât like you at first but tolerates you because of your useful quirk.
Hates watching you heal the others.
Especially Dabi, who is not so subtly flirting with you while you heal his most recent burn. Tomura knows he's just trying to get under his skin, but it won't work because Tomura could give less of a shit about you (cope).
He starts to restrict when they can ask for your help. Claims heâs preserving resources. Everyone knows heâs jealous that others are getting your attention.
And very possessive of you even before you start dating.
Speaking of whichâ he realizes pretty early on he doesnât hate you. Which is confusing for him because you donât fear him or want anything, so what do you want? What is your endgame here?
You want him⌠why?
Because heâs an angel.
He eventually starts to appreciate that you donât fear him. Youâre the first person who doesnât see him as some sort of monster. Heâs just a person.
Itâs liberating to be just a person to someone.
It also means that he can touch you without the fear of accidentally hurting you.
Very clingy.
Holding hands is now mandatory.
Tomura compares the soft texture of your hand to his coarse and rough one. It has become very calming for all his stress to just play with your hand.
Sometimes, he just likes to caress your cheeks down the length of your neck and back, feeling the soft skin without fearing you disappearing.
Only when you're asleep. Because he thinks it's less creepy (somehow).
You love playing with his hands.
You kissed his hands once, and he froze from softness overload.
Tomura.exe not working.
With your quirk, you can just lean over and kiss his neck after he scratched it bloody again, clearing away the new scars with a cool sensation.
Youâre the one person whose quirk can never hurt.
Heâs hurt people heâs cared for before that way, even if it was an accident, but now he can get as close to you as much as he wants without that fear.
It's a sort of security he's never felt.
That he can never hurt you, and you wouldn't hurt him.
He uses his quirk to protect you, and you use your quirk to support him in return.

hello!!! I'm really sorry that this happened to you. your works are really good. i saw you taking requests so i wanted to request headcannons with Shoto x reader, who have quirk like air(or water idk which one to choose so it's up to you) manipulation (like bending in avatar the last airbender or the legend of Korra). thank you!!! take care of yourself. feel free to ignore this request
todoroki with an s/o who has a wind quirk would include
type: headcanon
pronouns: you/your/yourself
a/n: hello! this is probably the first original post i will be writing since the deletion fiasco. which makes me so happy that it's shoto because i lost a lot of my shoto content in the deletion. and he is probably in my rotation of three favorite characters (which changes depending on who currently gets more page time in the manga). i love this boy so much and i really enjoy writing for him. thank you and i hope this doesn't disappoint! remember to comment, reblog, and like.

I donât think Shoto would care too much what his partnerâs quirk is. I mean, being the product of a quirk marriage, he doesnât want to be like his father in any capacity and so sometimes he overcorrects.
If anyone, and I do mean anyone, comments on how well your quirks compliment each other (âWind, Fire, and Ice! Thatâs almost all the elements, right?â âIdiot! Thatâs wind, fire, and water, you dumbass!â) Shoto will briefly spiral for a day or two. Nothing extreme.
He loves you for you, not your quirk.
But then another voice in his mind reminds him that your quirk is a part of you, just as his quirk is a part of him, and therefore if he loves you then he must also love your quirk, or else he cannot love you completely.
Shoto has these mental debates with himself, semi-regularly.
Where he just spaces out and either stares at a wall for an hour, rarely blinking, or at lunch, Shoto forgets to bring his noodles all the way to his mouth during lunch and it just falls onto his lap.
One time, when he finished one of these mental debates, Shoto stared up at you in all earnesty. âI would love you even if you did not have a powerful quirk that compliments my own.â
You had been engrossed in your book for the last hour, with a spaced out Shoto resting his head on your lap, not expecting another confession but didnât mind it either. âI know you would. Love you too, Sho.â
Then he gets all blushy like he didnât start this.
That being said.
Shoto would love having an s/o who is powerful.
The moment when he first fell in love with you would probably be when you put him on his ass during training.
Your wind quirk really does compliment his fire quirk. I mean, fire needs the oxygen in the air to burn. So, you can either use your wind quirk to turn his flames up a notch or you could extinguish them at your will. And that shouldnât make him so attracted to you but it kinda does.
The two of you would be perfect training partners, and come up with the great team-up moves together utilizing your wind and his fire.
Which leads to many team-ups once you have both debuted as pro-heroes after you graduate. Quickly, the two of you would have the media labeling you as the next big pro-hero power couple.
I mean, they are just calling it what it is.
That being said. I am pretty sure that if you used your wind quirk at the same time he is using his ice quirk, that would make your immediate atmosphere freezing cold. Like wind chill?
So I hope your hero costume comes with a nice fluffy parka or you might want to invest in some winter wear.
Maybe you could just make villains so uncomfortable with the cold air that they would rather go to the warm, temperature controlled prisons (I live in the midwest and I would rather burn myself alive than have to go outside when there is wind chill, I am not even exaggerating).
If you use your quirk to make Shoto fly off the ground, he will fluctuate between reverence for your mastery of your quirk and internal panic that he will never know the feeling of the solid ground again.
Of course he just looks stoic as always, not a hint of emotion, stiff as a board even though he is floating through the air like a feather.Â
Also, Shotoâs hair just looks really good when itâs windswept.
Do you sometimes just create a little wind to make his hair flow in the wind like he's the love interest in a trashy romance novel?
Not that anyone can prove it. It was just windy! Inside. with the windows shut.
summary: (y/n) and shoto were twins who were more strangers in their first year at ua high school. while she may have hoped to grow closer to her little brother, (y/n) instead grew closer to the last person on earth either of them would have guessed.
a/n: hello! i know the original version of this was well-liked, but i wrote it almost three years ago and i wanted to update it. (1) i have an obsession to make it match canon more, (2) i wanted less exposition, (3) idk, it's my blog and i'll do what i want. trust me, if you liked the original than you will like this one too. i will probably rewrite a second part to this fic because it really works as a multi-chapter concept. anyways, i hope you enjoy~
by the way, before you read this fic, i used some japanese words in this fic as terms of endearment between siblings. onii-san (or nii-san) means older brother, onee-san (or nee-san) means older sister, and ototo means younger brother. i just thought it would be cute.

âToto, look at this.â
The two of them had been allowed to play in the courtyard that day. Father had left for work much earlier in the day, not long after their brothers and sister left for school before the twins woke up in the morning. Only mother and the housekeeper were in the house. Mother was on the phone with someone, and the housekeeper was making their lunch.
Shoto had been playing with the leaves that littered the ground from an old tree. He was sorting them by color and how they crunched in his hand. When his twin called for him, he quickly turned to face her with amazement.
(Y/N) was holding a brilliant flame in her hands. She had finally gotten her quirk, the very same as their fatherâs. The same as Touya-nii.Â
Shoto climbed to his feet and approached her cautiously, both admiring the beautiful orange flames in her hands, and scared of the heat it admitted. She held the flame in both her hands cupped together, so proud of herself.
âTry, toto,â she encouraged.
Their entire lives, (Y/N) had done everything first. She had been born five minutes before him. She said her first word before him, took her first steps before him, and was even potty trained before him. It was not surprising his big sister would also manifest her quirk before him.Â
He lifted his hands up and tried his hardest to focus. âI canât, nee-nee.âÂ
âDonât give up!â She insisted, the flame in her hands growing ever so slightly as she raised her voice. That startled Shoto, the flame growing almost twice in size, but her words gave him strength and he gave it another try.
Finally, a small flame grew in the palm of his left hand. Not in the center of his hands the way it did for (Y/N). Only on one side.
âYou did it, toto!â She was so happy, her smile could barely be contained to her face and she began jumping up and down with excitement. Even Shoto, the more gentle of the twins, was smiling with pride.Â
In her excitement, the flame grew once more and flew in the courtyard.
âMAMA!â
Rei dropped the phone from her hands and ran into the courtyard where she had left her youngest children alone. She chastised herself, what a terrible mother she was to leave her babies alone. Rei needed to speak with her mother in private, and this was the only time when she could. When Enji was gone, her eldest children would not be able to hear her. She thought Shoto and (Y/N) would be fine on their own, as they had in the past.
Her mind swirled with worst case scenarios. Had they hurt themselves somehow. (Y/N) often looked at the old tree in the courtyard, had she tried to climb the tree, her fearless little girl? That was her cry, she distinguished. Shoto was too careful and cautious to do something so reckless. But (Y/N)...
When she arrived in the courtyard, (Y/N) was on her knees covering her mouth with her hands and Shoto stood in front of her protectively. He dropped to his knees and held his frightened sister in an embrace. It was odd to witness, usually it was (Y/N) who was comforting her younger brother. Then Rei saw it. A wall of ice in the courtyard. So much like her own.
Shoto and (Y/N) watched as their mother began to cry.
â(Y/N)?â
She hadnât even realized she had spaced out. (Y/N) took a moment to remember where she was and who was speaking to her. She was getting ready for the UA Sports Festival with her classmates, and the voice belonged to their classroom representative, Itsuka Kendo. Her friend.
âAre you nervous?â the orange-haired girl asked, she nervously laughed and scratched the back of her head. âI hope not. If someone as talented as you are is nervous then the rest of us might as well just go home.â
She shook her head. It was disheartening to hear something like that from a friend, even though she knew that Kendo only said it in jest. (Y/N) knew that many of her classmates had felt disheartened recently, with all of the attention being given to the other first year class, while they were forgotten about entirely. She knew many of them wanted to prove themselves during the Sportâs Festival. She doubted Kendo, even with her optimistic disposition.Â
âNo, I was just remembering something,â (Y/N) responded. âLetâs go.â
Kendo placed her hand on (Y/N)âs shoulder before they left.
The first round of the Sports Festival was decided. A race.
Before the countdown for the race was completed, (Y/N) looked to find the one face that mattered. She watched the way the right side of his face scrunched a bit in his cheek and his brow, and she knew exactly what he would do. Once the race began, a thick sheet of ice covered the ground and Shoto took first place of the race, leaving everyone behind him.
Except for (Y/N), who had used blasts of fire from both her hands, situated behind her to propel her from the ice on the ground. She had not been the only one to have that exact same idea, and soon they were running for second place side by side. Unfortunately, he was quite unpleasant.
âWhere the fuck did you come from, extra?â he screamed, he had spiked ash blonde hair and deep red eyes. (Y/N) glared at him, she was not like her brother who allowed insults and compliments alike to roll off his back as though nothing impacted him. She was more unforgiving than that.
She narrowed her eyes at him, âI have a name.â
They all stopped when they saw the robots from the entrance exam, which both Shoto and (Y/N) had not taken, they both got in through recommendations. Her twin hadnât even looked at her or anyone before he easily destroyed one of the enormous animatronics in a single ice attack before taking back first place in the race once more.
The angry blonde didnât take long to use his explosion quirk to handle some robots on his own. (Y/N) knew there was quite a gap of power between herself and Shoto, there was no way she would ever be able to surpass him. That meant the only competition worth competing with was the blonde boy, whose name she just learnt was Katsuki Bakugou from the loud speaker.
Not to be outdone by him, she let her flames burn to their brightest and left the robots a melting mess for those behind her as she continued her pursuit.Â
â(Y/N) TODOROKI OF CLASS B IS QUICKLY CATCHING UP TO BAKUGOU OF CLASS A! WHO WOULD HAVE EXPECTED ANY DIFFERENTLY FROM THE DAUGHTER OF THE NUMBER TWO HERO, THE FLAME HERO: ENDEAVOR!â
Behind her, there was a chorus of surprised screams of confusion. All of them belonged to class 1A, who were shocked to discover that their classmate had a twin sister in the other class that they had never known about. (Y/N) wasnât surprised to learn that Shoto had never mentioned her to his classmates. She didnât really talk about him to her classmates until recently. However, none of them were as surprised to learn who her twin was until she managed to catch up to Bakugou, who was glaring at her in bewilderment.
They were running side-by-side, from moment to moment they were either overtaking one another to being the one lagging behind by an inch. Bakugou glared at her, with frown consumed his face, âwhat the fuck?! Thereâs another one of you bastards?!â
âThereâs only one of me,â she took the opportunity, surrounding herself in bright orange flames, her hand clenched around the fire, shooting it at Bakugou as a distraction so she could steal second place.Â
His reflexes were good, but he was annoyed she had managed to surpass him for even a second during the race. He violently clenched his jaw before screaming and firing himself into the air to keep up with her.Â
The two of them continued to be neck-and-neck when they eventually caught up with Shoto, who had been enjoying lengthy first place for too long. This was the first time his eyes noticed her since they began school, she had never felt him gaze at her once. It actually distracted her, looking at his turquoise eye on his left side, and she was too slow to block Bakugouâs blast, and she was knocked into third place, desperate to get up and keep up.
In the end, she came in fourth, following Midoriyaâs astonishing rise from being an unremarkable face in the crowd to being first place. Shoto came in second, she noticed he wasnât pleased but he hid it with a stoic face. Bakugou on the other hand was making no effort to hide his anger. She had noticed him staring at her, with a vaguely murderous intent. She met his gaze, undaunted. It almost made her want to laugh. Some random who had been lagging behind in the crowd had surpassed two recommendation students and the one who aced the entrance exam. But for the sake of not wanting to trigger Monoma, she acted disappointed in herself.
When the second round was announced, she had many people asking to be a member of her team, clearly after having discovered she was the daughter of the number two hero. The decision was easy, she followed Kendoâs lead when she asked her to join her team. (Y/N) was worth 195 points, as fourth place, and sat atop with Kendo, Kimori, and Setsuna holding her up. Her team played it safe, not nearly as flashy as the other teams who were trying to single in on Midoriya and his team for the most points. Her team would have lost and that would have been the end of competing in the festival for her.
Except two members of a team decided to drop out and they needed to select two members of another team to replace them.
Their team would be next to have won a place.Â
âIt should be Kendo and (Y/N),â Kosei suggested.
Kendo shook her head, âno, we need to put our best foot forward for the final round. I agree (Y/N) deserves to go to the final round, but I think my spot should go to Tetsutetsu, he deserves the opportunity more than me.â
â(Y/N) TODOROKI AND TETSUTETSU TETSUTETSU OF CLASS B WILL ADVANCE TO THE FINAL AROUND AFTER A BRIEF INTERMISSION!â
She felt blindsided, what had just happened? She had spaced out once more. Shoto had won this round. Of course, he had. He would have won the first round as well if Midoriyaâs gambit hadnât worked out for him. He would dominate the next round, she was certain of that. It was a battle tournament, and he had been a fighter much longer than most of the kids in their school. Then, her attention had turned to Bakugou who was seething with rage on the ground. Similar to a petulant child who lost a game. Why couldnât she stop staring at him, she could care less about his tantrum.
(Y/N) hadnât even realized that her classmates had basically pushed her into the final round until she heard her voice on the loudspeaker. No, no, no. She had wanted to do her best in the festival as a matter of respect to herself and her classmates, and in hopes to attract a good agency for an internship. But the final round would have been a battle tournament. She wasnât afraid to fight someone one-on-one, her quirk was perfect for combat. But what if she was matched against Shoto? That was her worst nightmare.
The corner of her eye found a large figure in the crowd. She wondered if he was only focused on Shotoâs victory or if he noticed at all that she had made it to the final round as well. Was he looking at her as well?
Kendo freed her from her thoughts when she hugged her tightly from behind. âDonât tell Monoma that I said this, but put those Class A kids on their asses.â
She found herself giggling and turned to face her friend.
After winning her first match, which she won of course, she found herself walking down the hallway to return to her classmates. She saw Shoto approaching, preparing for his own first match, and her heart stopped.
Shoto was not someone she could ever forget. How could she? They were twins, and if superstition was to be believed, that meant that they would always be connected even though they no longer shared a womb. It did not feel that way anymore, they no longer lived in the same world. That was their fatherâs doing. She could not forget him, instead he made her remember.
His left side, the scar on his face. Their mother who was treated so horribly by their father that she grew to resent them for daring to show traits of their own father, half of themselves. That was why she burnt his left side, she saw their father in that part of his face and threw burning water on him. (Y/N) often wondered if she had been the one to go into the kitchen that day to check on their mother, if she would have burnt her entire face. She hadnât seen her mother in a long time. She tried to not miss her, but Shoto made her remember her as well, they had the same face she realized.
He looked up at her as though she was any other student, a possible opponent should they be matched against one another. Not his twin sister.
She found herself almost involuntarily speaking. She tried to stop herself when her mouth opened, and muttered a soft-spoken, âgood luck.â
That caught Shotoâs attention and looked at her as though she was someone of more significance than some pedestrian. He seemed uncomfortable. Was it because she had been staring at his scar, or was it because she spoke to him? (Y/N) tried to remember the last time she spoke to him. Maybe when she bumped into him in the hallway and she muttered âsorryâ before he walked off. That was two, maybe three months ago. And never at school.
He continued to walk before uttering, âthanks.â
When she returned to her class, (Y/N) felt dazed. Most of the tournament felt as though it had floated her by until it was time for Shotoâs second match, which was before what would be her second match.
She had been truly amazed to see how far Shoto had come when he fought Midoriya. He had always been amazing. He had a perfect quirk, and even with his refusal to use any flames, Shoto had perfected his use of ice. When he finally did use his left side, unleashing an attack that was even beyond the level she was currently at, she was astounded. Not jealous, never. She could never find it in her heart to be bitter towards Shoto, not when she saw him smile for the first time in so many years. She even found herself cheering. (Y/N) was drowned out by the sound of their fatherâs egotistical ranting that the crowd somehow twisted into fatherly love. That made her sick.
A part of her wanted to find her brother and congratulate him, swept up in the moment of watching him overcome aversion to using his left side, but she immediately felt awkward towards the thought of talking with Shoto. It was one thing to gather the courage to say two little words to him when she managed to cross paths with him, it would be another thing to actively seek him out and speak with him. (Y/N) was barely his sister since they were three.
Worse than that. They would be made to face one another in the next round. (Y/N) felt like she was going to throw up her rapidly beating heart.
She crossed paths with Bakugou once more. She hadnât thought about him since the cavalry battle, Shoto had been on her mind for too long.
He glared at her, as he was still pissed about the obstacle race? âIt doesnât matter which of you two bastards win this round, Iâd still beat you.â
She hadnât said anything as she walked right past him. He was going to the finals, that was assured. He had already won his semifinal match. Bakugou was an ass to her in their limited interactions, but she could not deny his talent and skill. She would like to claim that she ignored him because she was too dignified for his pettiness, but the truth was her mind was too focused on the next match. Against her own brother. He would be watching her now for sure, from the stands where he was yet to acknowledge her at all.
âNOW IN THE LAST SEMIFINAL OF THE BATTLE TOURNAMENT WE HAVE SHOTO TODOROKI OF CLASS 1A AND (Y/N) TODOROKI OF CLASS 1B! ITâS TWIN AGAINST TWIN! WHO WILL WIN IN A BATTLE OF ICE AND FIRE?!â
(Y/N) had known since the quirks manifested that Shoto would be better than her for the rest of their lives. Her quirk was powerful, like their father. But she had all the same limits as him, the same weaknesses that he despised. Shotoâs quirk was limitless in its potential, its only limitation was his own refusal to use his left side. (Y/N) would have withdrawn if it was only up to her. But her classmates had given her this opportunity, if she gave up without a fight it would be like spitting in their faces. She would fight for them.
Once the match began, (Y/N) made the first move. He may have been stronger, but she had always been bolder, more impatient.
He only used his right side. That was smart, she supposed. It was the natural opposite of her quirk. For every large blast of flame, there was a wall of ice to block it and create large clouds of mist that covered the arena. It dragged on that way for a while, the two of them standing at a distance, blasting away at each other, perfectly matched to one another. It must have been boring to watch, but she felt as though she was being cleaved through the chest.
Finally, she decided to advance. She went on the defensive, blocking each of his ice attacks to keep her at a distance, and forcing her way closer to him.
When they were three, (Y/N) liked to wrap her arms around her brother in a fierce embrace, and she could lift him off the ground to her motherâs grief. She could even spin him around a little. She had always been deceptively strong despite her size. He was holding himself back, despite his earlier breakthrough, he was still hesitant to use his left side. If she could get close enough, she could knock him out and end this match.
She had underestimated herself, she realized. And so had Shoto, she realized when she got close enough to deliver the final blow and knock him out. (Y/N) would progress to the finals, and he would take notice and react. For just a moment, she would be better than him. All it would take is one punch.
He looked up at her in shock, one eye grey and one turquoise. He was a little boy once more, holding out his hands, sadly whimpering  âI canât, nee-nee.âÂ
She hesitated, and left herself open. Shoto did not hesitate, he grabbed her and threw her out of bounds. To the spectators, it must have looked anti-climatic compared to their previous matches that ended explosively with walls of fire that required the stadium to be rebuilt twice in one day. They were the children of the number two hero but it appeared as though they were no more than little children throwing each other around.
She thought she would feel disappointed. To have come so far to be defeated in such a lame way. But, there could never be any bitterness in her heart towards Shoto, and he had just won himself a place in the finals.
When she left the stage, she was shocked to discover Endeavor waiting for her. (Y/N) would have thought he would have gone to Shoto, the winner, his perfect creation, and not to her, the loser and spare to his masterpiece. She hadnât seen him in a while either. He ignored them, most of the time. Even her, the one who inherited his quirk. (Y/N) knew he had trained Touya once, who also inherited his quirk, but he never bothered with her.
He hadnât taught her a thing.
âTouya-nii, can I come with you today after class to the mountains?â
She was holding his hand tightly. Mother had told him and big sister that they were to always hold her hand on their walk to school. Fuyumi was always eager to hold her hand and be a good older sister. However, today she had wandered ahead with Natsuo and left her to walk with Touya.
Which never bothered her. She loved it when Touya-nii would hold her hand, it was always warm, unlike Fuyumiâs cold hands. And he was her favorite. Touya always acted as though he was annoyed when he was stuck with her, but he held her hand very tightly, protectively like she was precious.
âI wanna make cool flames like Touya-nii!â
He looked down at her and smiled. He had such a sweet face, it was the same as mother, who never looked at her with her sweet face anymore. (Y/N) thought her eldest brotherâs smile was the greatest thing in the world. âI guess I could show you something that Dad showed me when I was your age.â
She hugged his side, tightly, âthank you, thank you!â
âThat was pathetic.â
(Y/N) snapped out of her memory and glared at him. Endeavor had an intimidating presence that made her hands unsteady and her brow sweat. Memories of Touya-nii always filled her heart with so much hatred for her father, which made her angry. She began to bawl her shaky fists.
âI saw you,â he spat, âyou could have defeated Shoto. He fought terribly, he made himself weak in that match, but you lacked the nerve to win.â
He was right, she reminded herself. For how much she may hate him at this moment, he was correct in his assertion. But he was entirely out of line to say this to her face, as though he had ever shown interest before she was made to fight his perfect creation. She would have thrown that in his face, but she was too frustrated to even speak, she could only glare at him.
âIf you make mistakes like that because of sentiment, then you are wasting your time at UA in the first place,â he continued, his stare still burning into her, and she couldnât meet his gaze anymore. Instead, her eyes stayed fixated on the ground, trying to contain her rage as she wished he would return to ignoring her once more. He continued his scolding, âand youâre distracting Shoto arenât you? Have you been convincing him to hold back too?â
Her jaw dropped with pure, unadulterated rage. She met his gaze, with her new installed wrath, and she spoke with a voice laced with venom, âI havenât been distracting your precious masterpiece! Iâve been avoiding him since school started and I donât even talk to him at home! I leave home fifteen minutes earlier than him and wait ten minutes after school so we donât end up walking together, all because you donât want a failure like me to ruin him when youâve already done a hell of a job doing that yourself!â
He was shocked at her outburst, that she would have the nerve to speak to him in such a way. He shouldnât have been, she got it from him. She moved to quickly pass by him, but he grabbed her by the forearm aggressively, causing (Y/N) to freeze in shock before using her might to try and power forward, but he held her in place with a tight and painful force. She looked at him with threatening eyes as she kept trying to pull her arm free.
âLet go of me!â she barked.
âYou insolent child-â he began, she started trying to hit his arm away with her free hand, but his grip only tightened as she let out a cry of pain.Â
âJust leave me the fuck alone!â she cried. (Y/N) didnât recognize her voice anymore, she had always been so soft-spoken that her classmates sometimes had difficulty hearing her. Now, she sounded more like a banshee wailing. She screamed so loud she took deep, exhaustive breaths to fill her lungs with oxygen again. âJust go back to not caring about me and leave me alone! You already took two of my brothers from me, and mom. How much more miserable do I need to be before youâre satisfied?!â
Endeavor seemed horrified as he looked down at her, he had always thought she was frail like her mother. But at this moment, he saw only Touya. He let go of her arm and she fell to her knees on the ground, grasping her arm.
â(Y/N),â he muttered.
She quickly rose to her feet and sprinted down the hall, not sparing a glance backwards to him. She was embarrassed by how much she wanted to cry, consumed by the pain in her forearm and the bruise she was sure would form, and her anger turned to bitterness in her mouth. Her mind was so scattered that she hadnât even noticed that when she turned the corner, she crashed straight into another person and went flying to the ground.
âWHAT THE HELL?! WATCH WHERE YOUâRE GOING, DUMBASS!â
Bakugou instantly yelled, while he rubbed his head after he had hit the ground, hard, from someone running at him with full force. It was only when he sat up he noticed who had run into him. It was (Y/N). His frown lessened and his teeth unclenched. He had heard her speaking with her father as he was heading to prepare for his final match. He didnât care much about the personal lives of extras, but he was shocked to hear the number two hero speak to his own daughter, and the way she talked about him.
Now, he looked at her lying on the ground, clasping her hand on her arm as she whinged with pain, her hair was sprawled out on the floor, and her eyes were glazed over with tears. Bakugou had been waiting for the chance to get in a good fight with her the entire festival since she threw one of those fire attacks, watching her defeat her opponents, until he saw her clearly hesitate when she could have put that half-and-half bastard on his ass, and got knocked out. Now, he didnât see an obstacle. Before, she seemed cold and distant like that icyhot bastard. She was someone who was fragile and hurt.
He turned away from her, uncomfortable with the amount of vulnerability that was spelled out all over her face. âAre you okay, flames?â he asked.
Finally, she snapped out of her heart-wrenching pain. Flames? What the fuck? Her eyes slowly fluttered open to see a very uncomfortable Bakugou, sitting on the ground looking away from her as she lay on the ground in front of him. She queried a brow, âflames? I have a name.â
âItâs the same as that icyhot bastard, what the hell am I supposed to call you?!â He asked, quick to get back to that angry tone he always spoke with.
She pulled herself up and held her knees to her chest, âyou could try my first name. In grade school everyone called me â(Y/N)â and called Shoto âTodorokiâ, so you can call me by my first name if you want.â
âNo fucking way,â he retorted, as though she had insulted him with the suggestion. âThatâs too personal, I donât even like you let alone know you!â
âWell, Iâm pretty sure you just heard all of that,â she commented, casually, âwhich means you probably know more about me than most of my friends.â
Bakugou was silent for a moment. He and his mother screamed at each other and called each other every name in the book, but he was never afraid of her and she never hurt him the way Endeavor clearly hurt (Y/N). He didnât mean most of the insults he hurled at her, he didnât want her to never speak to him again. But, (Y/N) sounded as though she had meant it. He remembered overhearing Todoroki tell Midoriya all about his childhood and how he was born from a quirk marriage. He looked at her and sighed, âyeah.â
They sat there for ten seconds of pure silence. Well, it would have been pure silence if he couldnât hear her clearly wheezing in pain.
âYouâre hurt,â he simply stated.
âI know,â she replied, an unamused look on her face as she braced her arm and lowered her knees down, extended in front of her. âItâs not that bad.â
âSounds bad to me,â he continued. âIs there a bruise?â
She raised a brow, âwhy are you so concerned?â
âIâM FUCKING NOT!â he exploded, literally using his quirk to explode the ground around him in embarrassment, his face turned a hue of red. âI just hate the fucking sound youâre making trying to act like it doesnât hurt!âÂ
She slowly unzipped her jacket and took it off to reveal a white shirt and a large purple bruise on her right forearm. It was almost the size of her entire arm and looked like something a person received during a fight, not after. Bakugou almost winced at the sight of it. (Y/N) was shocked but tried her best to swallow it. It actually made his blood boil how unaffected she was, that she was just swallowing her pain and suffering, but a part of him knew his anger wasnât aimed towards the girl in front of him.
While caught up in his thoughts about the bruise, (Y/N) had been noticing the way Bakugou was quietly observing her. It was the first time she had seen him today this quiet and considerate in any measure. She looked at him and found herself oddly at peace for the first time that day. It was almost ironic the calming effect he had on her, she was so focused on this interaction that her anger and hurt with her father seemed to dissipate for a moment.
He looked up from the bruise and saw how fondly she was looking at him, his face became flushed again and he scowled, âgo see the fucking nurse!â
âYeah,â she nodded, picking up her jacket. âSorry by the way.â
âYou fucking should be,â he responded, getting off the ground quickly and stuffing his hands into his pockets, but waited for her to stand up before thinking about leaving. She placed her jacket on once more.
âAnd thank you,â she continued, he looked at her with an annoyed and confused expression on his face, but it didnât daunt her smile. âFor distracting me, I really needed that. Itâs a shame we wonât get to fight.â
He was quiet, his frown loosened but his expression still serious. âYouâve got a powerful quirk, and youâre pretty strong and fast. But you lack technique,â he explained, causing her to look at him confused as she had prepared to leave to go get healed by Recovery Girl before finding Kendo and Kodai. He turned to look her in the eyes, âIâm going to beat that bastard brother of yours today, make no mistake about it. But, I still wanna fight you. At your best, which youâre nowhere near. So, we could train together some time.â
She was still confused. Mainly, she was confused why he wanted to spend time with someone not in his class, why wouldnât he want to train with Shoto instead of her. Her quirk was lesser than his. He was the one who won, and she lost because she hesitated. But, her smile continued, excited about having the chance to have a match against Bakugou, âyeah. But if weâre going to train together, then youâre going to have to call me (Y/N).â
âNever!â he barked.
âThen Iâll see you around, explosion boy,â she waved.
âFine,â he gritted his teeth. âIâll call you⌠(Y/N).â
She turned back to smirk at him as she continued to walk down the hallway, âyou know, itâs customary that when someone calls you by your first name, you should return that courtesy, Katsuki.â
âHey! Donât fucking call me that!â he screamed into the hallway as (Y/N) ignored anything he said. Soon, her mind was completely away from Endeavor and she was looking forward to training with someone once again.
He was gritting his teeth to the point of sharpening, as he sat on the common area couch surrounded by the other annoying members of his class. Katsuki never spent his free time watching television and the only time he spent personally with his classmates was when Kirishima and Kaminari all but forced him to play video games or participate in a group activity. If he had known that playing the drums in that stupid band would have made all these people think he suddenly wanted to be a proactive member of class activities he never would have done it. He didnât care about the new rankings.
Kirishima and Kaminari actually werenât the people who convinced him to watch the new rankings, instead it had been (Y/N) who had come to watch with Shoto. She came knocking on his door and asked him if he wanted to watch with them. If. Which he didnât. So, he didnât know exactly how he found himself sitting here watching the television with (Y/N) at his side, her hand in his, and her eyes fixated on the screen.Â
Well, he knew why, but Katsuki was still in denial about how easily (Y/N) had him wrapped around her finger since they met.
He moved to kick Kaminari in the back of the head as he laughed with Kirishima about how close Katsuki and (Y/N) were. Both of their classes had been shocked to find out Katsuki and (Y/N) had finally started dating. Kaminari endlessly teased him, while Kirishima was annoyingly supportive. Most of his class was shocked to discover he was dating the twin sister of a person he despised immensely. Todoroki had seemingly no reaction when he found out, Katsuki knew they werenât close and so he didnât expect him to act overly protective of her, but it was weird that he had no reaction.
Even now, he was standing in the back of the room watching the screen with no reaction, and (Y/N) didnât acknowledge the presence of her brother either, the only time she looked away from the screen was to talk to him or respond to a text from her friends. They were weird, those Todoroki twins. He might be dating one of them, but that didnât change the fact that (Y/N) was weird as hell and had a strange relationship with Shoto. She told him that Todoroki had invited her, but he knew they were still awkward and estranged after so many years of forced distance between the two. Not that he cared.
âWhy do you wanna watch this, we already know the top three, thatâs all that matters,â Katsuki barked. âAnd your dad sucks.â
(Y/N) shrugged, âitâs the first time that such high profile heroes are going to be there, I wanna see what theyâve got to say.â Her eyes stayed on the television. He looked at her with a bit of worry, Katsuki knew she hadnât seen her father since that day on the sportâs festival, even though Katsuki had seen him at his remedial courses. He told Todoroki he was gonna change, but with the image of purple bruised skin and teary (e/c) eyes in his mind, Katsuki didnât believe it. âAlso Hawks is going to be there, heâs cool.â
He groaned, a little bit jealous. She had interned for Hawks after the sportâs festival and did her work studies there after she got her license.Â
They watched the new top ten get announced and listened to multiple comments his peers made while Katsuki just wanted it to be over already so he could go back to his own room or do something productive with his day rather than have these asinine conversations. (Y/N) was clearly half-paying attention until they got to the top five, with Miruko grabbing their attention with her bold attitude. But, they were all quietly watching Hawks rant about heroes the moment he uttered the name Stain on live television.
(Y/N) had an amused smirk, clearly having anticipated the winged hero was going to behave this way. But, her smirk only lasted until Hawks handed the microphone to the new number one. Any enjoyment wiped off her face as she saw her father on television, having only seen him at a distance as she avoided him in their home until she moved into the dorm.
âJust watch me.â
The only sound was applause coming from the television, from a very amused Hawks as the ceremony started to come to an end.Â
(Y/N) sat back, she traced the inside of Katsukiâs hand mindlessly. Katsuki was silently fuming with how much it tickled him, so he glared at her with his usually annoyed stare, but she just grinned. He hated how immune she was to his glares. Well, he didnât hate it, not that he would admit it. Teasing him became one of her favorite distractions and she needed one today.
âItâs over, Iâm going back to my room,â Katsuki announced, starting to stand up and march away before (Y/N) grasp on his hand tightened and pulled him back to the couch which caused him to growl slowly in frustration.
âCome on Kacchan, if you leave (Y/N)âs gonna leave,â Kaminari teased, using that nickname again to taunt him.
âShut up, dunce face,â he retorted, kicking him again.
âI wanna hang out here,â she spoke up, and soon Kirishima and Kaminari were at her side with comically begging puppy dog eyes. Katsuki wanted to blow both their faces away before he sulked back down into his chair, grumbling under his breath. She grinned once more, and laid her head on his shoulder in contentment. âLetâs find something else to watch.â
For the next few hours, they swapped between the channels watching bits and pieces of different shows before someone would wanna change the channel. (Y/N) didnât watch television, except for when Fuyumi used to watch soap operas and she would sit to watch with her. Other times she would watch the food network for ideas to make for dinner after their father let their housekeeper go. She always preferred that over the soap operas. So, she eventually got them to change to a cooking show, and Katsuki was actually interested for the first time since he sat on the couch.
(Y/N) laughed under her breath as she moved closer to Katsuki, amused with how enraptured he was with a cooking show.Â
Her eyes wandered to the back of the room where Shoto was still watching, he felt her gaze and turned his attention to her. She was surprised when he asked her to come watch the performance at the cultural festival and then spent the day with her. There were a lot of awkward silences, but there was something nice about spending time with Shoto. He reached out to her again when he asked her to come watch the broadcast with his class. Even now, with him standing across the room, it was a relieving presence.
Thatâs when the broadcast switched to a news report of an attack in High End between the number one and two heroes against a Nomu.Â
At first she thought nothing of it, she remembered how her father took down three nomus in a single night, and now he had the assistance of the fastest hero. However, her initial disregard changed as her assumption of a quick victory instead was several minutes of watching her father attack the nomu with everything he had and getting a brutal beatdown instead.
Suddenly, she found herself sitting up and holding herself with her heart pounding in her throat. She was worried for her father, for the first time in her life. Katsuki looked at her in shock, touching his now cold hand after her warm hand had broken away in her panic, he had thought she hated her father remembering how she screamed at him and how he had hurt her. Hell, Katsuki hated him and they had never even formally met.
Why did she care? (Y/N) was asking herself as she broke into a worried sweat and her eyes burned. She hated her father, she knew she hated him since she was four years old and he separated her from her twin, made her mother so broken that she hated her own daughter too much to look at her, how he was responsible for the death of her oldest brother, how he destroyed her family. She should want him dead, a dark voice in her spoke in the back of her subconscious when she thought about her family tragedy.Â
And yet, now that that moment is here, where he might genuinely die before her eyes, she found herself crying out into the room for him to fight. As though somehow her voice would be carried through the television to him.Â
She hadnât even noticed Shoto had done the same, their experiences with him could not have been more different but in the end they felt the same. Several of his friends looked at them worried, with other classmates terrified that the new number one would die. And,(Y/N) Todoroki for the first time in her entire life wanted to see her father again.Â
When the fight was over and the heroes somehow emerged victorious, with her father standing completely battered, the left side of his face bloodied. He looked like a standing corpse, but he was still alive. (Y/N) felt an amount of relief wash over her, doubling over to grab her knees as she started to breath heavily. She hadnât even realized that she had forgotten to breathe. (Y/N) felt an arm wrap around her as she continued to hyperventilate.
âItâs okay, (Y/N),â she heard a voice whisper.
The room felt so dark, there had been people in the room before but for a moment she had forgotten that and felt as though she was floating in the darkness by herself. It took her a moment to recognize the voice as her boyfriend, calmly reassuring her as he held her back for support. She knew Katsuki hated public displays of affection and was bad at expressing himself in intimate ways, so it meant the world to her that he was holding her now.
She lunged herself off from her knees and wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face into his neck. He felt so real, so grounding as she tried to remember to breathe. Once she found herself supported in Bakugouâs arms she let quiet tears stream down her face, her breathing was sporadic, and she felt like she was coming back from wherever her mind had taken her. Katsuki was surprised when she jumped to find solace in his arms. But, held her back reassuring her while she cried, she knew this was all strange for him.Â
âYouâre going to be okay,â Katsuki muttered quietly. Some of his classmates were looking at them, ones concerned with (Y/N), while the rest tried trying to comfort Shoto, who was having more or less the same reaction to their fatherâs battle as (Y/N). âTake deep breaths,â he reminded her.
Once her breathing steadied, she started to pull away slowly, ât-thank you, Katsuki,â she whispered, breathily. Her mind was still racing around her, but she focused on Katsuki and his lovely crimson eyes. She had always liked his eyes, though she knew he hated when she complimented them.
He rested his forehead on hers, he stayed there and enjoyed the silence, listening to her breathe, looking her in the eyes the entire time. His face was kind of confusing, she was unsure how he was feeling. He had always made it known that he disliked her father. Which never bothered her. But, he was relieved she was okay, he was even grateful Endeavor lived only because he didnât want to imagine how (Y/N) would be reacting if he had.Â
Her arms moved from around his neck to hold his shoulders as she closed her eyes. Katsuki and her had been friends for months, and she had known she liked him more than just friendship for a large part of that. It was after he failed to get his license and she would be leaving to Kyushu for several weeks for her work study that he basically yelled at her to be his girlfriend. She had been nervous at first, the only relationship she had ever seen was between her parents and that was disastrous. But, despite his tough exterior, it was moments like this she knew Katsuki would never hurt her.
And for that she thought she may even love him for that.
