one of my favourite things in the world is casual intimacy. a small hand on your back when you’re in crowded streets. a gentle kick from where they’re sitting across the table. a head on the shoulder, a hand in your hand, a squeeze on the arm as they’re walking past you. and i think maybe love isn’t made up of grand gestures or explosive displays but that it’s made up of the little things. the little things that say i’m here and i care for you and that your life has intertwined so deeply into mine that that there’s no need to think, because casual intimacy comes easy 

Jamie saying “I’ll marry you again, when I can” is just soooo good because we all know that that day is coming, when they will be getting married. Six years ago, they wouldn’t have had that line. There wouldn’t have been that guarantee. And making it such a certain statement would have been seen as incredibly political. That line is a line I haven’t heard before, and it makes me so happy. I know that there is still a long way to go in a lot of ways, but sometimes I step back and just say, wow, we’ve gotten this far. And I am so proud of that. So happy that we all know now, heck yeah Jamie, that day is absolutely coming.
