A girl being so depressed that she has had to resort to cutting herself just to get through the day is NOT "tragically beautiful". Someone who has been bullied their whole life and been made to feel like she is not good enough is NOT "tragically beautiful". A girl that has been sexually assaulted and used as an object for someone else's pleasure is NOT "tragically beautiful". Nothing about mental health is romantic or beautiful. It is fucked up and it is difficult and it angers me so much that people romanticise it as if it is a fashion sense. It is not. It is a cry for help. It is a form of self relief. It is a way of survival. And that is NOT romantic or beautiful in any shape or form. Trust me, I would know...
