Omggggg I have to go to work tomorrow 😭

The part of summer I will miss the most is the slow mornings and the quiet afternoon reading time. And the puzzles. We have totally embraced puzzles as a family and I love that the kids love them as much as I do.

I go back to work in 2 weeks (literally on a Thursday) and just no. Eww. Too soon.

J is sleeping over at Jeff’s parents tonight. He’s been gone since 12 and while the calmness in the house is nice it’s weird without him here. But very nice for special one on one time with just our girl. Need to make this more of a priority, one on one time with each kid.

The Dutch bus is going to be at a restaurant we frequent tomorrow night and why do I suddenly want to go???

My recliner is officially gone. No more babies. A little sad. But the lady who got it looked so so happy and keeps sending me messages of joy. Worth it.

This upcoming week I have both kids in half day camps so I only have one child at a time all week. It is also PMS (PMDD) week for me and I am oh so grateful this all worked out this way.

Giving my kids a “90s Summer” through movies 💁🏻‍♀️

It’s the second week of summer break and I just cannot shake the exhaustion. Last summer I didn’t get into a routine fully til end of June but I had already deep cleaned everything the first week when kids were at camp. I have the stuff I want to do but zero motivation and I hate it. These kids also have to be worn out and occupied more than ever before it feels. Idk. I just don’t want to be tired anymore.
