She smirks. “That sounds fun. We should do that.” Thisbe squeals. “Stop!” Auden laughs.

She giggles. “I could tie you to the bed.” She sticks her tongue out. “Maybe when he’s older and can push you away.”

She smiles. “He could just sleep with us occasionally?”

Auden smiles. “If you wake to an empty bed you’ll probably find me in the floor next to his crib.

Auden laughs. “Wishful thinking babe. I’m so in love. I never want to leave his side.”

Auden kisses Kas happily. “God he’s perfect. I don’t care that he’ll keep us up all night. I love him.”

They get home and Auden carries Oakley in. “Hey bud, this is your home. You will be so loved here.”

Auden holds Oakley happily. She smiles and coos at him. Thisbe comes back and auden places him in the car seat.

She grins. Thisbe shakes her head. “I got this. Stay with Oakley.” She gets out quickly and Auden gives her her card. “He’s perfect Kas.”

Thisbe nods. “I love chinese.” Auden calls it In for everyone. When they stop she picks Oakley up. “Mommies here baby.” She kisses his head and he coos. “That’s my boy. You are so loved.”

She sighs. “Chinese maybe? Chicken and broccoli please.” Oakley starts to cry. “Oh baby boy. Mommie’s right here and there’s daddy and auntie thisbe. We’re all here for you baby.”

Auden held onto Oakley happily. “I’m so exhausted guys. And it hurts. Should we stop for food since I can’t cook tonight?”

She smiled happily as they discharged her. She held Oakley as they wheeled her out. She was so happy right now, but she was exhausted and in pain from it being so sudden. A nurse helped her into the car and she closed her eyes.

She grins. “It’s not possible. I can’t wait to take him home.” A nurse comes in and checks him out. “It looks like you’ll be discharged soon. He’s very healthy and so are you miss Candle.”

She beams as she holds her son. “God I love him. I didn’t think it was possible to love someone else as much as I love Thisbe.”

She beams. “You’re important to me too baby.” She beckons Thisbe over. “Our perfect little family.”

She nods and pulls him in for a kiss. “It’s perfect. You didn’t have to do that baby.”
