For once it was not Kazuaki lying on the ground somewhere, which was not saying all too much but he took it as a small success. It did seem, though, that the boy he came across was not asleep like Kazuaki would be if he was in his stead, but did seem awake and distressed in fact. Like a fish without water, flopping up and down, nothing happening.Â

Kin glanced up at the stranger with wide eyes, ashamed at having been caught in such a weak position. Though it was his nature to be weak and powerless... it was also his goal to end those stupid stereotypes about his species and prove he was worth something. And how did he do it? By flopping about just the same! Damn it!
Still, his eyes sparkled with admiration for the stranger, really digging the blond hair. It was nearly identical to the color Kin used to dye his own! He brightened, a semi-forced smile working its way onto his face.
âOh! Uh... yeah, I guess Iâm okay. Just... thinking, I guess. Iâm Kin, by the way! What do you call yourself?â
