This was... embarrassing, but even Dio was aware the stupid American holiday was about being grateful for friends and family. And it wasn’t exactly a secret anymore that Dio loved his friends like they were family. 

So he decided to send his best friends a message.

Mass Text to: Marceline, Peridot, Magilou, Frisk, Travis

She tripped in her haste and stumbled before falling flat on her face in front of someone. Scrambling to get back up, she whirled around to see--he wasn’t there. For now. She was safe--he was gone--he was--

“Ah, it’s...Frisk, right? You’re a friend of Dio’s~!”

Turning to the person she’d fallen in front of, she gave the kid a small smile. Hopefully Melchior would leave them alone. Him touching anyone important to her or Dio was the last thing she needed. Trying to regain some face, she brushed off her skirt and tried to ignore the new tear in one of her socks.

“Uh, what brings you to Sector 004~? If it’s the comedy club, I’m afraid it’s closed for right now~”

She and a few of her recruits had only gotten back from placing the ads a few hours ago, so Gwyndolin is surprised to see a child approaching her. Well, adolescent, not quite a child. Still much younger than she’d been hoping for, but people of all ages sought guidance, so she would not turn them away, and they could easily be more than they appeared.

     Asriel hadn’t moved in DAYS.

     There had been a break in his sickness, a small time where he managed to roam the city and get out to get some food. However, the moments where time seemed to speed were returning once more. What felt like a day of laying on the couch had turned into a WEEK of hugging a pillow and staring. Dissociation for days, reality nothing more than colors on a screen.

     The TV was blaring some mindless cartoon, candy wrappers littered the floor, bread heels were piles in bags. There was a mug full of tea bags on the coffee table, used and dried up. He felt disgusting, he WAS disgusting, but Asriel didn’t plan on moving. Time was moving on without him, once again, and he couldn’t find a will to CARE. 

"Heya, kiddo! ‘s there any reason you’ve been starin’ at me for so long?” 

Bendy could sense their presence from a mile away. The minute the two of them made eye contact, Bendy realized - they couldn’t have been more than ten years old. Maybe twelve at the oldest, but he was rather surprised to be seeing a child running around with adult supervision...! Or maybe times have just changed, he did come from the late 20s, after all.
