hardcore is also really funny because it's all about diy, community, etc, but there is constantly instagram drama. the thing with End It and the banana man is that it is overshadowing the previous debacle, which was The Allegations re: Balmora. punk rock!!

i dont really feel strongly one way or the other about banana suit guy, but it is funny seeing a bunch of people say that hardcore is "about non-conformity." hardcore is about some things that do not line up with the values of society at large, but it isn't like, nonconformity for nonconformity's sake. saw someone try to clown on the vocalist from end it for having a tucked in t-shirt (a supposed irony because of his fashion policing) and it was like, oh you have no idea how MOST punks dress in the modern age, got it
