Not very satisfied of the way I drew Toriel but like the comic as a whole kind of falls apart after the first panel... It's not as detailed as my usual art, but it took me a week to complete... I hope you like it!

To all of my fellow Krusie, Krusielle, and Kralsuselle shippers that are currently in the depths of despair due to Kris's unrequited feelings for Susie, here's the best evidence ever that Kris's feelings may just end up being reciprocated (and it comes from goshdarn Snowgrave Run)!

If you look at the two areas that I circled in these scenes above, you'll notice Susie is actually blushing: her face sprite in the scene on the right, and her overworld sprite in the scene on the left!!! And yes, I know that blushing doesn't always indicate romantic attraction. But the reason these scenes hit different is the context behind why she is blushing!

In the scene on the left, she tells Kris that she's glad they're okay after almost drowning in the lake, and then she blushes, thinking that she "said something weird again." And in the scene on the left, where she talks about the Festival King and Queen, she says that whatever she and Kris are is cooler. And then she blushes again as she tells them that she didn't mean it in "a weird way." It's also worth mentioning that she blushes a lot more around Kris this chapter, especially after her peak yuri moment with Noelle. In fact, the user @deepfrieddeltarunememes made a whole post about every time Kris made her blush this chapter!

And what's also important to remember is that, even in Snowgrave Run, she still discovers her romantic feelings for Noelle, which give her a newfound understanding of love and relationships she didn't have before. As a result, you can't help but think that newfound understanding will certainly affect how she views her relationship with Kris.

So, given how she blushes when she thinks she makes it "weird" when talking to them about how she's glad Kris is okay and the kind of relationship she has with them, it seems to me that she's not confessing her romantic feelings for Kris because she doesn't have any romantic feelings for them at all. She's not letting Kris know about her romantic feelings for them because she DOES NOT THINK KRIS WANTS TO HAVE ONE, AND THAT IT WOULD MAKE THINGS "WEIRD" BETWEEN THEM IF THEY FOUND OUT.

I never really realised how much difference it makes until I went to England and realised that here the change of seasons is an obvious, visible, physical change in the world. Like, everything REALLY IS orange and foggy in autumn! In spring there are flowers EVERYWHERE, so much more than any other season, and the trees really do have all blossom and no leaves. Even if it doesn't snow, in winter there's frost all the time and the trees are bare and the sky is visibly greyer all the time. You don't need to be told "this date is the first day of spring", you can SEE IT (although this is getting way messier and less precise due to climate change).

By contrast, most places in Australia the seasons we're taught feel like arbitrary categories - and is it any surprise considering they're colonial constructs? Orange-leaved autumn and blossom-covered spring is a cartoon stereotype with no relevance on a continent where ALL NATIVE TREES ARE EVERGREEN!! Snowy winters are a joke in the desert, and even sunny summers don't ring particularly true considering that much of the country is in the tropics, where summer means monsoons - not that I've ever seen the concept that WE HAVE A MONSOON SEASON taught at an Australian school.
