I know book 7 was controversial, and I personally find the pacing to be ABYSMAL, there are many things I do really love about it, even the controversial ending. Malleus is one of my favorite characters, because I relate to him, and I find his fears to be very human, ironically. I love it when characters have very grounded and realistic struggles, that are told through the lens of something not very relatable, or even utterly fantastical— like Malleus’ near-godhood, or Leona being a literal prince. Very good stuff 🙂‍↕️

Besides that, I also really love a Dutch production of Snow White by Studio 100, because it’s the first musical I ever saw as a child! The songs are great, and I like to imagine Vil singing the Evil Queen’s songs. My favorite song from this one is probably “zie ze daar staan”, which means “look at her standing there”.

I’m not very tasty though. How will you even prepare me? I won’t be a good roast :(

Those are coincidentally some of my favorites too! I still look back at Devil Town with pride and joy, though the art does make me cringe sometimes. I hope to make a new animatic that soon that’s just as good, sigh
