To Them, the Flowers of Asylum

A lot of things, the biggest is more of a "what I want" to be the true ending to JS and how we get there from where we are. I've been re-evaluating how I'm handling things in the story.

Like what the definitive true end, I know a few like... outlined details for it but not the path to it. I'm running this in a specific way where asks can influence the path, they help Clover with thinking about the clues for the case. YOU are the Jury, they are but the Judge (or the Executioner if guided down the wrong path). Kestrel might be the Jury in their world, but in reality a Jury consists of more than 1 person.

Probably going to do some changes to Chara, I've been kinda toying with many ideas involving them. Adding little things here n' there to designs for Kestrel and Clover. How Imma handle the Ch1 ARG is also on the list. The ones before were mostly testing the waters, giving out bits of lore. Ch1 starts the major one... things that will guide Clover to the right answers.

So... I do play it, yes, I try to keep my opinions on the Pal designs away from how the actual game plays. I dislike a pretty noteable chunk of popular designs, as well as those that look too close to pokemon's. I like some of the goofier lookin' pals.

Noteably, I love Omascul. Thing looks like a goofy, lanky, masked bird but is actually just a cryptid that'll drag you to the depths of the void. I spent a good length of time making a Life Steal Omascul in my solo save and said Omascul single handedly carried me through the Arena.

I also like Dynamoff, even before the meme was posted. (I didn't see the meme till it hit Youtube as I don't use twitter due to great dislike of it.) It's a fat electric pigeon, and that's the kinda goofball I needed for my team. Same for Muffly, jus' a snug little bird.

That's a tough one actually, I love a lot of music in the game. Probably because of how the transitions between Instrumental and vocal versions are in game while you're in active combat. It's the coolest thing any game has ever done. It's very hype moments and aura.

If I had to pick like... 3, with the best at the top... uh...

Clown Battle (Clowning around 180's to depression sometimes. I wish it had a vocal cover...)

Your Inception (the secret boss that I spent 4 hours building a team for Skynet to beat in 30min...)

I've been listening to the new Cassette Beast 2002 OST - Ages of Change for the past like... 3 hours. Outside of listening to streams.

3am, talkin' about the bean that I've thrown into a sick, twisted murder case. Never said what to talk about in terms of them, lets talk the portrait I made instead of finishing the short comic.

So, the portrait I got distracted by was for them. I'm thinking about appearing on Pulse' stream again because I suggested to him that, since 3d World is goin' absolutely nowhere, maybe do a randomizer again. I wanted to challenge myself vocally by going an entire stream as JS!Clover. So I started drawing a special portrait set for it as a joke mostly.

So... "Gamer Detective Clover" might be a set that exists. Which, in the AU, wouldn't be impossible considering they would sometimes play games with Kanako and Percy. If anything they only do it sometimes for themselves, and it'd be very specific games. I could absolutely see them playing Far Far West and being good at it, likely played their worlds equivalent of Stardew Valley, otherwise whatever Percy and Kanako dragged them into. They would, absolutely be more of a casual though.

Go find out, they're still on ask and I'm always lookin' for an excuse to voice them. They are, in fact, my favorite game character.
