This is my personal account, hence the name, and then I have the Lockwoods, where I post my original fiction. It started off as SimsLit, before the EA buyout. Now it's a series of webnovels I'm really enjoying writing, although there's some personal life stuff going on that's making everything more complicated, so I'm kind of flitting about at the moment rather than focusing on the main arc the way I planned.
Ever since the buyout every decision EA have made has made it harder and harder for me to play the Sims at all, so I'm glad I transitioned away from SimsLit, even though I miss screenshotting my story. I really enjoyed that aspect, which is why I plan on getting to the point where I can draw for the Lockwoods, but even sharing my writing isn't the easiest thing for me to do.
Spending more time here is something I want to do because I like connecting with people, and I feel like the place I'd been doing that, Bluesky, has really changed in the last few months. I thought I'd switch to Tumblr, in part so I can keep supporting my Sims people. Even though I personally don't feel comfortable playing the game I want to support those who are writing stories, sharing their Sims, creating CC, or doing anything else around the game I loved so much.
Fortunately there are a bunch of other games I also play, so I still have that outlet, and I've been planning on chatting more about that, but I really struggle at times with Bluesky's character limit. I like to ramble. Here I can. So, hi everyone. Nice to meet you. If you know me from Bluesky then this was probably a little boring to you, sorry. There will be more interesting stuff to come. Like snippets from the Lockwoods, and I'll put a link post up each week if you're interested in reading the stories.
