chiaki is so loved it’s just unfortunate what the consequences of that are ☹️

been going thru the five stages of grief abt what might happen to chiaki since i saw that timeline wise things do add up for her to be taken for a year :( even if she goes through the horrors (maybe she will gain allies though among the mikaboshi and she’ll be okay) i hope hokazono actually gives her and us some time to see her cope with things because if not it’s gonna be a bad look :/

had hakuri awakened to his sorcery sooner he wouldn’t be in a position terribly different from chiaki’s oughhhh

i do think what hokazono’s doing is setting up how chihiro’s existence defies everybody’s wishes—the government, the soga clan, and the mikaboshi—and that’s how he’s going to right the future.

hokazono saw naruto become a dog of the state and was like hm maybe that wasn’t how that should’ve ended lemme do things my own way

chihiro you’re gonna learn the shit they put your mom through and forge a new future breaking these corrupt chains that tie everyone down right. right

okay okay so this is out there rn but the way chiaki worded things “the me that is princess soga isn’t important to me” got me thinking what if there’s a way to get rid of “princess soga” to save chiaki… would she lose her powers of prophecy if she made a contract with an enchanted blade perhaps…

i’m tweaking so bad if chiaki isn’t okay we’re blowing everyone up

been thinking on this all day and just made the connection. because it’s like obviously hokazono putting this threat on chiaki is really scary and upsetting, not unrealistic for a story like this but why did he do it. and it hit me that, while kunishige already seemed like he was down to work on forging shit w the datenseki, hearing that chiaki’s safety and autonomy was threatened explicitly spurs him on to create this enchanted blade project immediately. (you can argue that it’s in combination with that and what happened to shiba and everyone). so there’s chiaki being threatened and kunishige hitting the pen and the forge to make a solution to keep her safe. and then you look at how part one ended with chihiro hitting the pen and forge, after akemura threatened hakuri… what more can i say.

cant stop thinking abt chiaki she makes me so sad i need good things to happen to her

idk a lot could come of this but it would be a crazy asspull for kunishige to not be chihiro’s bio father after all these characters think he’s the spitting image of his dad

this chapter was really good but it got me fucked up

i figured it was all gonna happen this way but mashiro 😢😢😢

hit me again how literally crazy it is that hokazono wrote chihiro affirming a commitment to be hakuri’s samurai and then introducing a clear and present danger to hakuri’s life specifically in the form of akemura proclaiming he will kill every member of the sazanami clan like isn’t that crazy. that that’s real life and canon true to the manga and not some shit i made up
