actors AND writers are now on strike

this is really important for them, and they might not be attending cons until the strike is over because it is often considered promotion, which is against the strike

please check if the con you were thinking about attending because of an actor will have them there now

if the actor was the only reason you were going and now no longer want to go, consider finding one of their strike funds to donate to to help the people that create so much media that we enjoy. they deserve fair pay and this fight is far bigger than them, they’re just the ones fighting it

this is the fault of their bosses for not valuing their labor. do NOT get mad at actors or writers for not participating because of being on strike, get mad at the people in charge that want writers on the streets so they’ll come back to work (literally something said in a recent article)

But I don't want to just jump back into the multiple series that I was working on before the hiatus, mainly because I feel like I'm extremely out of practice.
