I've said it before and I'll say it again. We need a "This is absolutely NOT mature content" feedback button on posts. You can report a post as missing a community label. We should also be able to report posts as having a comminity label when they dont fucking need one.

QJJ characterizes everyone so well, it’s on a level I’ve never seen. Like yes I love Hassen’s POV and learning about his upcoming marriage with Dorlan. It humanizes him, and his decisions carry greater impact. Any of the fights between him and Xiao Chiye don’t feel like a protag vs a villain, it genuinely feels realistic because we know Hassen has personal things to fight for just as Xiao Chiye does. It’s just very interesting to see.

remember in p.e. when they'd take a bunch of insecure teenagers & be like "today we're going to play basketball" and then not teach you how to play basketball. and then put you in a group with guys who were obsessed with basketball and would get mad at you for not knowing how to play basketball. why did they do that

this disability pride month lets be kinder to folks with moral ocd . no more “if you really care about this minority , you’ll reblog this post” , “someone will die if you don’t reblog this” , etc etc , and all other kinds of guilt tripping reblog bait . at the VERY LEAST tag your reblog bait so we can filter it out and avoid unnecessary spirals . it’s 2026 , we need to move past using guilt to get engagement .

#i’d even go a step further and say that xwp is unique BECAUSE of the censorship#it forced them to rely on literally anything other than words to convey their love for one another#which made it so much more impactful#we believed their love because of the way they looked at each other the way they fought for each other and it was so CLEAR#but modern media is no longer pressured to tell a story this way and while that’s great for representation#i also feel like something got lost in translation#idk how to express my thoughts exactly but. in newer media I’ve watched wlw relationships don’t ever reach the same depth xwp did#i have my beloved blorbos don’t get me wrong it’s just that#xwp was epic. xwp was one love for a thousand lifetimes. xwp was romance at its absolute most egregious#xwp wasn’t the story that ends when the will they/won’t they couple finally get together and live happily ever after#it was a story devoted to everything after that#and I’m gonna sit in my corner and blow kisses at the heavens for placing it in such a precarious cultural climate#that ultimately nourished a tale of such overt devotion#one that is extremely hard to replicate today#xwp (via @shiryawashere )
