I can’t believe my new most aesthetically pleasing art piece is a gay mouse and even gayer rat
So me and my roommate have been rewatching The Great Mouse Detective yesterday and she said “Like, everybody already headcanoned that they are bitter exes, and they are really accustomed with these roles, but can you imagine how it was in the very beginning of their rivalry”, and I was like “you bet I can”.
So the POV is that this is one of their first encounters as enemies since the break up (after Basil found out that Ratigan is a criminal and was like “it’s either me or crimes”) and there was a chase when at some point Basil trips and is about to fall down the roof, but all of a sudden he is being saved by his rat. So…. the ✨tension✨🤌🏼
