Of course I'm going to fix up this blog as well but that is a fresh start! I'm super excited about where it will be leading us!

I do actually plan on writing stuff as well! I might take requests but! I'm very much going to be writing stuff I want to. I will eventually make a list of fandoms and stuff I'm in, maybe try to keep it around the top y'know.

Sadly I haven't 'had the chance' to watch the 2024 version of the crow, 1. I don't won't to watch it alone, and 2. it's not out anywhere where I am yet. And no I'm not hating on this newer movie or anything. HOWEVER I do have opinions on it.

I love Eric Draven (1994; Brandon Lee) and I think he will forever be the best Eric Draven, aka no one will ever be able to top him. Brandon just gave off that Gothic protagonist vibe. Which was PERFECT for the role of Eric Draven. I find it really sad that he was killed on set.

I have been thinking about this since I heard the 2024 version was coming out. They are making the adaptation/remake 30 years after the original. If you didn't know the lore behind the ORIGINAL (Brandon Lee) Eric Draven, he we are. Eric was a rock star, had a band and everything. Shelly and Eric had a, friend is what I would say, that was like 13 that came over because her mom was always working or being a drugie/pr0st!tut3. Eric came back from the dead exactlly 1 year after their d3ath to avenge the love of his life Shelly.

Eric finds all of the people that played a part in r@ping and murd3ring Shelly. Before k!lling them all he burns down a pawn shop in order to get Shelly's engagement ring back.

Well as some point, Eric tries to k!ll himself, although this is not shown in the movie due to it being a very touchy subject, it was a very big part of the comic. Which is what the movie is based on. That's why Eric had tape around his torso, wrists and hands, not a fashion statement, it was because he tried to k!ll himself.

From what I know about the newer movie, it seems like a lot of the lore might be changing, which I personally find weird because if it's practically a different story line they should just use different characters instead of Eric and Shelly.

I am in no way shape or form saying that Bill couldn't or isn't a good Eric, I just have high Eric standards. I think that the character design could have been better is all. Like I said I'm still waiting to see the new movie therefore I can't say if the way the new Eric is, is any good.
