At that point , Chuck doesn’t bother hiding that soft , soft smile of his , squeezing Raleigh’s hand gently , swaying closely enough that their shoulders brushed with every inhalation . 

If this was their hard - earned peace ? Chuck was not complaining .

For a second , Chuck thinks he mishears , brow furrowing . And he couldn’t exactly feign hard of hearing since he was in top form , so he just stares at Raleigh for a few seconds .
