Ironic how as soon as Kageura squad locked in and decided to (do the bare minimum prep wise) watch the logs, they ran into TWO back to back matchups where the logs were distinctly unhelpful (vs. “rookie” Hyuse and Taichi's lights out tactic, and then vs. Koarai and Okudera's new bullet triggers). I'm sure they emerged from this with renewed motivation to always study the logs and prep beforehand... not.
Kageura: What's the point of watching the logs if THEY'RE NEVER ACCURATE!!!
Tangentially related but I keep thinking about how there's even further evidence that Kageura squad does not do strategy meetings in advance they just show up day of and do their own thing. It's the okonomiyaki restaurant scene where they're discussing how Chika can't shoot people and Kage is like “Wtf are you guys talking about” and Zoe goes “You should watch the logs more often ;;”
Osamu was all but losing his mind pre Round 4 because Chika told Ema about her inability to shoot. But apparently Ema didn't bother to share this information with his squad mates, even though he was the one who pointed out that she shouldn't have told him. Zoe only figured it out from watching logs and Kage didn't know anything at all. Given, Kageura squad is the team that cares the least about snipers because Kage will know in the moment if Chika ever tries to shoot him. But still. They were the one team that got this info directly and they were also the one team that did nothing with it.
