the novelty of having pets really does never wear off i’ve had my cat for ten years and i still look at him strolling around like can you believe this. a cat. is everyone seeing this. he’s alive he has bones and all. unbelievable

One thing I've noticed getting older is that the youth of today are really not all that meaningfully different from the youth of yesterday and anybody insisting otherwise has a downright revisionist view of those years and/or is trying to sell you nostalgia slop. Believe in this.

new years eve is my favorite holiday like let’s go out and get drunk and dance or stay in and watch tv all to celebrate another year we didn’t kill ourselves. i love you.
