I've watched it multiple times and Ksoo looked affected by the conversation Jongin had with that noona fan while the others looked fine. The phone call starts at 1:12:22 and at 1:13:02 he has an interesting expression. Watch all the segment, it's quite interesting.
First of all, Iām sorry this is late. I hope youāre not too annoyed with me.
I just wanna say that Iām confident they all knew who the girl was calling for before hand. The moment she began talking Kai was smiling (if she was from primary how would he immediately know who she was after all these years?), it looks like Chen glanced at him immediately atĀ 1:12:38 and continued to watch him for a bit, Baekhyun at 1:12:31, Xiumin (very quickly) at 1:12:33, D.O and Xiumin at 1:12:36 etc you get what I mean. Iām sure they all kind of had an idea or knew beforehand. It doesnāt help that Kai is looking down like a blushing school boy.Ā
Iām pretty sure Kyungsoo suspected it to be Kai, but the moment Kai said it was him, Kyungsoo immediately decided he needed to fix the microphone in front of him, scratch his face and begin to fiddle with his fingers. This all happens consecutively, Iām not kidding. It was so sudden and out of the blue, itās not normal to do something like this casually. These are all gestures performed under stress, the fixing of the microphone and fiddling is him trying to give himself something to do in order to cope with the situation. Itās a way of allowing yourself to sit through a conversation youāre not necessarily interested in by distracting yourself, and the way he does these gestures implies he doesnāt like it at all.Ā
He continues to fiddle up until 1:14:00 (he may still be fidgeting as his arms occasionally twitch a little bit but this isnāt a reliable observation as I canāt directly see it) where he then moves his hands to hide them behind the desk and leans away (a signal of distancing oneself and a sense of disagreement; a negative gesture) and he stays like that while looking at Kai, this is when the caller says:Ā āJonginnie was cute and loveable, he was very famous.ā
Kyungsoo was trying to smile but his smile looked rather bitter. At 1:13:23 he glances at Kai and looks down and he stops trying to smile. Itās like seeing Kaiās responses put him off?
The golden moment is when Jongin said theĀ āNoonas were really pretty back then [at his school]ā and the caller admits to being one of the pretty ones. All the members are impressed, they were so excited and happy for Jongin, expect Kyungsoo who instead had this bitter smile on his face again. At that moment, 1:15:28, Chanyeol appears to be looking at Kyugnsoo. Kai smirks as if heās so pleased with himself of knowing a really pretty Noona. Kyungsoo just genuinely looked really upset.Ā
Kyungsoo unlike everyone else keeps turning to his right and looking at the other members reactions, he does this a few times while the others seem to beĀ absorbed in the conversation taking place. Itās a little strange. By the end of it 1:29:10, everyone was happy and waving the Noona away happily and Kyungsoo just looked so upset, he didnāt smile or wave back or bid her goodbye.Ā
On the other hand, Jongin throughout the phone call kept reaching up to cover his forehead and rub it. This is a strong indicator of someone feeling discomfort. He also doesnāt openly move around a lot during the session just remains still. I do think he enjoyed the talk but there was something making him uncomfortable, especially since he kept repeating the movement. When someone adjusts their hair whilst rubbing forehead as Jongin did several times, it typically indicates the encounter of a stressful situation. These would also be considered pacifying gestures.
I do think Kyungsoo was jealous (maybe more frustrated than Jealous) because these behaviours only came out during the conversation with the Noona. Jongin on the other day I believe didnāt mind the situation and most likely enjoyed it however he does show signs of being stressed in a negative way.Ā
