This is what I thought.((Disclaimer: Everything that was written below was purely from my point of view. I’m not trying to persuade anyone to believe in anything. After you’ve read the post, don’t waste your time if you don’t have anything intelligent to say, k?))

Firstly, I’ll lay out related rumors of homosexuality in kpop:1 (April 6, 2015): Boy band member I, whose group is known for their perfect choreography, recently came out to his members. He’s always been suspected to be gay or a transgender between fans but the topic was forgotten because he was able to adjust to celebrity life well. Recently, however, he confessed to his fellow members. Having trained with him since pre-debut, the members weren’t surprised. [there was another blind item in 2013 related to this bcoz of the matched description but I couldn’t find the source; “A member of a boy group came out to his group this year. None of his groupmates were surprised by his coming out. The group this member is a part of has 5 to 7 members and are known for their synchronization“]

2 (September 17, 2015): One news media outlet has an exclusive report on evidence they’ve collected over the same-sex couple within an idol group. It has been customary for reports on celebrities coming out of the closet to be banned from being reported but after waiting on the piece of news for months, the outlet has decided to break that custom. The same-sex couple that they will be revealing are two members in the same group and are trending idols that are expected to cause a ripple in the industry. The outlet is currently preparing for the inevitable lawsuit that will result from the report.

3 (March 12, 2016): The rumor no.2 was brought up again. 

4 (April 25, 2016): An A-list idol group member ‘A’ is said to have fallen in love with none other than fellow member ‘B’. They’ve apparently been dating for five years now and the scandal is expected to be huge especially considering that they’re idol members from the same top level group. A and B were actually caught by a paparazzi last year but came to a compromise with paparazzi company C to bury the articles. A and B are still continuing their relationship.

DP once announced they’ve exclusive release for May about a gay couple on April 12, 2013. This was supposedly the article but as you can see, there’s no translation about the gay couple. I found a Tumblr post about the article posted on April 15, 2013. It’s most likely referring to that DP article. However, you can just press CTRL+F and type ‘gay’ or ‘homosexual’ on that article. You’ll find people commented about the gay couple. They’ve removed the gay couple statement? Why?

But do keep in mind that these 4 rumors might not be talking about the same person/people because the description doesn’t match.

No. 1I really don’t want to bring this up. But I’ll leave these links (1, 2, 3) for you to look into it. I like In_finite but I don’t think I can call myself an In_spirit. I don’t follow them as well as I follow EXO. If you’ve looked into link 3, you could see how In_spirits were backing him up. They know about it even before the rumor. I can’t say much since I don’t know much about In_finite but I trust those In_spirits’ words. They know In_finite’s members more than I do.

No 2, 3 & 4These three rumors are likely to be tangible. Why?

If you look at rumor 1. It was released once only. It created curiosity to the public because it was a rumor regarding a gay idol. There was no rumor about the same thing repeated in the future. Netizens started to hint on things, I’m not talking about ifans here. Most of them hinted on that same person. The rumor heats up for the first few days and after the claimant and the video of that person crying, things died down. No official statement from any media outlet was released. The public knew who they’re talking about and the reaction from the public wasn’t that bad. Everyone was very understandable even the kfans. An official statement would only make the public hate the media outlets even more. It would be damaging not benefiting them. Media outlets main focus are profit and attention.

I’m not trying to say that it was him but the possibility that it was him is high. And the fact that the rumor died down after that crying incident basically pointed out that it was him.

Now, move on to rumors 2, 3 & 4. As you can see, the first time the rumor surfaced was from Sept 2015 and there was no English translation. Then, the rumor resurfaced again for an unknown reason.

The first time the rumor was brought up, the netizens didn’t react much because it is called a rumor for a reason. The possibility is just a false rumor to attract attention is high. Homosexuality is still a sensitive topic in SK. Then the rumor died down, forgotten and lost. On March 2016, the rumor was mentioned again. This means something. They want the public attention again. If 2 repetitive events took place, it will definitely catch everyone’s attention. This is logically speaking. When an incident happens once, people will look at it as it is and take any related measures to tend it. When it happens again, it wakes up the people’s mind, ‘oh something must be wrong’ and more well-thought measures are taken.

Moreover, the rumor wouldn’t be created without a reason. It might be a false rumor but it could a tool to cover something else up - the diversion of attention. This is a common tactic used.

Next, the hints given were too vague compared to the rumor 1.

As for rumor 1, they basically wanted the public to know. The hints were too obvious and very descriptive comparing to rumor 2. They even mentioned the gender of the idol by using the word ‘He’. However for rumor 2, they didn’t mention the gender. Why? Because then they’ve released another rumor. They’re testing the water, creating a wave of reaction from the public.

Rumor 4 was released in April 2016. It gave out more distinctive hints.

The hint trending idols from rumor 2 were vague as well. They actually helping the public to narrow down the list of possible groups when they mentioned A-list group member from a top level group. It could be from an A-list group member from a top level group who is trending.

The question now is which groups has an A-list group members?

Tbh, there are a lot and not a hard question to answer. Just lay out all the idols name that you thought of when the question was asked.

Now, the problem is the gender. It could be a girl or boy groups. They mentioned these from the two rumors that it could cause a ripple in the industry and the scandal is expected to be huge. Just ask yourself. Would a girl group scandal affect you as much as boy group does? To me nope. The majority of the fandom is made up of female and stan boy groups. It’s a fact and doesn’t apply to kpop only.

Just look at the dating news. When SN_SD was confirmed dating, it doesn’t cause a huge uproar to the public comparing to Baek yeon. SN_SD was related to both scandals but when there is a famous boy idol involved, the impact was different. Su_zy dating also didn’t cause a huge chaos. We all know that actor/actress dating news are quite common in SK and the reaction from the public has always been positive. But Su_zy known as SK first love and everyone is very accepting of her dating Lee Min_ho.

Move on to the A-list group member from a top level group who is trending (3 KEY TERMS!). I’m aware that they are a lot of A-list group member from a top level group. A top level group included the ones that have come a long way. However, if we’re talking about A-list group member from a top level group who is trending, the outcome is different. Don’t forget the word trending.

There’s no doubt that the four groups’ popularity are huge across the world. However, there’s also a possibility that it might not be them.

And let’s not forget DP article about the gay couple back in April 2013. If that article is related to the other three rumors (which is very likely since only DP is into scandalous matter), BTS_ is already out of the topic. Why? The article was released in April 2013 while BTS_ debuted in June 2013.

Another reason that it couldn’t be BTS_ is because of their label company, Big Hit. As mentioned, A and B were actually caught by a paparazzi last year but came to a compromise with paparazzi company C to bury the articles. Let’s be honest here that money was involved in the negotiation between the two parties. It had to be a big company that was able to play along with the company C’s game. This also applies to In_finite since Woolim is much likely, not capable of suppressing the news and a similar topic was pointed to one of the members at the same year (April 2015). If they wanted to drop the bomb, they could drop it all at once to create a much stronger impact.

Now, we’re left with SHI_Nee and EXO_.(Why everything that is so scandalous always lead to SM? God, I’m sick of this company)

Let’s focus on these two hints: Dating for five years and caught by a paparazzi last year.

SHI_Nee debuted in 2008 while EXO_ debuted in 2012. The 5 years dating is possible for both groups if added with their training period as mentioned by one of the netizens.

I’ve read through some kfans reaction towards this. The majority said it could be Jongxxkey. It’s possible since all Sha_wol already know Key_ is not as straight as everyone thought he is (a kshawol said it herself). There are so many proofs. I was so shocked when I went googled it up.

Key_ was rumored to be dating PHS in 2013 (just google it up. I can’t provide links since this is not an official statement). Watch this video. His reaction is so cute at 2:31 when PHS walked on the runway! His facial expression changed so much from 2:26-2:30.

If they’re indeed dating, Jongxxkey is out of the list because they didn’t fulfill the 5 years dating.

I can’t think of any other SHI_Nee pairing since I’m referring to kfans’s point of view. So yeah.

Next, EXO_. Possible pairing? Easy: Chan_Baek.

But there’s a big possibility that it is not Chan_Baek since Baek_hyun entered the company at 2011 and EXO_ just recently celebrated their 4 years anniversary. So the timing for the 5 years dating is not quite right unless those two are good at speed date ;)

If they’re good at speed date, then it could be them because of Baek_yeon dating news. Remember this statement: cause a ripple in the industry. SM already confirmed the dating news and if they outed the gay couple who has been dating for 5 years, it would be contradicting to Baek_yeon. It will definitely cause a ripple in the industry - SM. People will attack SM since they’ve been fooled by Baek_yeon.

So, I’ll just summarize things up:1. 150501 - Rumor about Kaisoo kissing at the backstage picture taken by a fan (could be linked to the statement about the evidence they’ve collected and the couple was discovered by the paparazzi last year)2. The above statement about Chan_Baek also applies to kaisoo because of kaixxstal dating news.2. Kyungsoo and Kai training period matched the 5 years dating statement.3. The rumor first surfaced on September 17, 2015. Then, on September 20, EXO went to Fiji for vacation/photoshoot?5. The changes with their interaction towards each other before the mess and after the mess.6. Kaixxstal dating news release after the gay rumor was brought up.

There could be more but I believe you know everything by now.

However, the statement A-list idol group member 'A’ is said to have fallen in love with none other than fellow member 'B’ doesn’t support Kaisoo. I consider both individuals fell under A-list group member. Why? Kai with his recent dating news and voted as the best dancer in kpop while Soo with his acting career. So……

Putting those aside, Idk why but if it isn’t someone from SHI_Nee or EXO_, it has to be someone from SM. Why am I so sure about this? The timing is so right.

The people behind the rumor know they can’t out the couple without getting sued. So, they’re taking advantage of the public attention that is currently on SM (Kaixxstal dating confirmation). They wanted the people to think that it is someone from SM. Why would they hold the rumor from Sept 2015 and brought it up again this year during SM crucial time? Yeah, coincidence right? If their intention is to divert the people attention from the actual couple, where does it benefit them? They’re not working for SM. Their main purpose is to find and release scandalous news.

Analysis scandals’ pattern related to SM1. SHI_Nee Jong hyun dating confirmation and OnewxJungah dating pictures (2010)2. Baek yeon dating confirmation and Kris&Luhan lawsuit (2014)(there’s actually more)

I have a strong feeling that they’ll release the news since the rumor keeps on coming back. Even though it is not kaisoo, I just don’t want their relationship to be reveal tbh with the current circumstances. They’ve been together for 5 years! 5 goddamn years! I can’t even sustain my bias list more than a month! (LOL totally not related).

The feelings that they’ve for each other already passed the ‘testing the waters’, I-like-you and let’s date and see how it goes. They’re in love with each other. It’s so fucking beautiful I just can’t. Even after they got caught last year and the rumor resurfaced in March 2016, they’re still together.

According to their body language and their reactions (esp Jongin's) and if indeed no one told Jongin about Kyungsoo being the guest for this episode, I can tell that Kyungsoo told him a white lie that morning, that he'd go somewhere to do something, while Jongin had his filming for Jeongwaja..

Until Kyungsoo actually surprised him and was flabbergasted, mixed feelings at the same time!!

He looked at him like "didn't you say you're going [..]? What are you doing here? Why did you lie to me? What's going on?!"
