UNDEAD :

Rei is a peculiar fella to me. The obvious choice would be to make him a bat, but I don't think a bat actually fits him much, plus the fact he's been groomed to believe he's a vampire in the first place. Feels icky. THEREFORE!!! I'm calling him a kitty cat (black panther). Black panthers aren't actually their own species. They are jaguars or leopards with a genetic trait that makes them super dark. They look like something they're not, their own creature, but they're not. That resonates with him I feel

Kaoru.. is really difficult. I honest to god see him as an abused dog. Probably a golden retriever. He's been hurt, yet he's so desperate to fill that void that it comes back on him so hard it ends up hurting the people around him. An abused dog doesn't need to be taught a lesson. An abused dog needs patience and understanding. Uuuaahhh my chud

Adonis. Kind of a tough one. Probably a feline too... cats have a reputation for being hard to handle, being assholes, not being good pets. But it's stereotypes. Cats are some of the sweetest animals you'll ever meet, even if they're aloof, distant. They need time to warm up to you, and when they do, they are the sweetest. A little strange but sweet in their own way.

BEST FOR LAST KOOOOGGGGAAAA!! A dog. You saw it coming, I saw it coming. Unavoidable. I'd call him a rottweiler but that's what he WANTS to be. My man is like a husky dude 🥹 or a chihuahua. VALKYRIE :

Shu would. Yeah. Spider. I think this one is kind of obvious to you, but a spider just fits him so well.. his need for control, it makes me think of a spider web. Spiders are very misunderstood critters too, but I'm not going to really dwell on this guy for much longer because this freak just HAD to be a spider.

Mademoiselle. Ggghhhhrrrhh. It's really hard to decide for her??? I can interpret her in many ways. She's a very calming, supportive figure.. like a mother with her young. The first thing that pops into my head about a mother with her young is some kind of bird. Something something shu being her baby bird learning how to fly and leave the nest, no longer relying on his mother. She'll always be there, but he's long outgrown the nest she carefully built to shelter him. ROLLS ON THE FLOOR AND WEEPS

Mika. Dude. I don't fucking know 🥹 obvious pick would be a corvid but. I don't wanna. I want to pick something that would match his lore, how willing he was to destroy himself if it gets a smile out of Shu. But I don't know. I DON'T KNOW!!

Also unsure for Miss Doll.. my girl gives eerie, mysterious, and creepy vibes. Honestly, otherworldly. I think for that reason, I'm going to go with an elk. Absolute majestic beasts.

ARASHI :

Oh my god, my wife. See.. arashi would be a horse, not any breed in mind but a horse. Doomed by her own narrative of people pleasing. I will get really insanely sad if I keep angst pilling her though so I'm going to leave that. Like that. My MAJESTIC BEASSSST!! MY STEED!!
