The inspiration for this skin is pretty clearly Lana Del Rey’s White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter.This woman gives me so much creative fuel.

This one was frustrating at some points but mostly it was just a good time. If you'd like to try it out, the code is under the cut.

I was going for vibe-y and monochromatic and I went super hard on the latter. If this looks like a thing you'd want (or want to edit), you can find the code here.

Credit to @ao3skin for the code that I modified to change the menu colours and adjust the tags. I literally could not do that without copy/pasting your stuff first 💗

"i learn more from thinking machine. human gender preference. attraction to same gender, means word 'gay.' all eridian same gender." rocky stands straight up. "rocky come out to grace now. all rocky plural gay, statement."

"...wow, that's... rock, i'm not sure it makes much sense to apply human ideas of sexual orientation to a monogendered species."

a long and judgmental pause. then:

Biker Wriolette

Wrio's car finally broke down. Old thing was barely functioning anyway, but now... it's finally time for a change.

However, he's broke. No car money, he could barely afford gas as is. What now?

Goes to Kaveh, his mechanic friend. Can he save the old lady? No, but he does have an old vespa he's willing to give for free.

Wrio takes days to think about it. He doesn't have an A2 license, but getting one would still be much less expensive than a whole car, and this could really cut his gas prices.

Goes and gets an A2 license. He's a careful driver, even though on the daily he likes to act tough, he's still so new and inexperianced, and being so vulnerable on the road is frightening...

Still new to his Vespa, Wrio encounters them for the first time: long, plain black leather jacket that whips behind them like a cloak, a wholly black, shiney helmet covering their face, impressive boots and tight black pants defining everything all too well, but it's hard to discern it when they flash by him on their monster motorcycle, vrooming loudly and quite honestly, obnoxiously.

Wrio would LOVE to race. He gets the feeling that this mystery rider is showing off to spite him but well, he's on a vespa. Whoever this is never spoke to him either, not like the road is any place for conversation.

When they both stop for a red light he tries to talk, but that snob rider just gestures for him to watch the light. Wrio is miffed.

Gas station. Okay. Wrio's going about his business when they arrive, bringing their beast of a motorcycle to a halt and slowly taking off their helmet.

Flowey white hair, blue streaks and tints, handsome face. Wrio's so star struck, he just stands there and stares slack jawed until Neuvilette leaves.

Holy shit honestly. So unfair, that asshole turned out to be terribly attractive.

Back to Kaveh. That guy drives a masterpiece he's been working on for a while, a gold white and green tinted motorcycle he lovingly named Mehrak. If possible he would like to keep any and all strange hands strictly off it, but since Wrio called on that one favor back when he got blackout drunk, Kaveh lets him borrow it.

Wrio wants to impress the hot guy pretty bad. He's also scared, both of riding such a beast and of damaging it, but he's resolved to try.

He can't do this. Stops at the side of the road, panicking.

Worst timing, that guy shows up, spots him and slows. Wrio panics as he watches the bane of his existence get off his motorcycle and walk over to ask if he needs help.

That's his first time hearing Neuvilette's voice, actually.

This lil crush is getting out of hand.

Neuvilette is offering to give him a ride home so he doesn't have to wait for a toe truck.

Don't mind if he does!

Romantic scene where Wrio sits behind cool ass Neuvilette on his cool ass motorcycle going vrooooooom, hands clutching his shirt and groping minimal feels (lie)

Wrio knows he's gay, has known since he was a teenager, but he wasn't aware he was that gay until today.

Kaveh is going to flip but like. Worth it honsetly

Neuvilette is so hot on his motorcycle, he'd do it again if he didn't think that'd raise suspicion

They start talking. Embarassing to admit, but Wriothesley memorized Neuvilette's usual drive times: goes home from work much later than he could, comes in earlier.

Boss is happy with him. Calls it motivation. Doesn't know that it's for gay reasons

Neuvilette is a bit shy when talking about himself. Likes talking about his motorcycle better. They can work on that.

Neuvilette is a JUDGE holy shit? A judge who rides a motorcycle?? For "stress relief"??? Sexy as fuck

"Come on, such a well invested ride, no way you didn't name it." Kaveh named Mehrak, it's normal. Takes a lot of encouragement for Neuvilette to finally share it.

"...its name is the Cardinal."

Would be cool if he wasn't so awkward about it. Fucking goofy

Wrio admits he's still kind of scared on his vespa.

Cue private ride sessions

You can imagine the rest

Kaveh an unwilling 3rd wheel on a ride. "Thanks for inviting me, please never do that again."

Hot rider couple

His own words spoken to his (now former) team leader now replayed in Wriothesley's mind, running the argument back as he took in his superior's words.

"You're serious," he realized, frozen in place. "He left? Quit, just like that?"

"Management caught wind of your argument last friday, we believe that may have played into why he decided to resign."

Wriothesley cringed. While it was true that their team leader was a lazy piece of work, he didn't think standing up for his team for a change would lead the guy to immediately resign.

What now? Was it- archons, he was bound to get fired now, wasn't he?

"...We've also noticed your continous efforts and deducation to this project. After a thorough examination, it is apparent your preformance over the span of the last few months had improved significantly."

What?

"What are you saying?" Wrio asked, hoping he wasn't coming off too blunt.

"We would like to hand you the reigns over project meropide, if you're willing." The man offered. "This position is best occupied by someone who truly cares, as you yourself put it... We believe you are that guy."

Wriothesley blanked, silently panicking.

A promotion, he was getting a promotion.

...

Revving his engine, he let himself feel.

He wasn't really the type to yell, not even in his happiest moments. He did, however, break out his widest smile since he could remember.

Years of working under the same company, treated like a damn prisoner at the mercy of that asshole of a team leader... it all changed in a single day; the power was now in his hands to make project meropide truly great.

Could this day get any better?

As if answering his prompt, Wriothesley heard the tell-tale sound of Neuvilette's smooth motorcycle coming to a stop on the next lane over.

"You seem happy," Neuvilette stated, voice slightly raised over the humming of the cars behind them.

"I got promoted!" Wriothesley replied, turning that brilliant smile Neuvilette's way.

"Congratulations." Neuvilette smiled back, eyes soft.

Wriothesley couldn't help it.

"It's thanks to you!"

Neuvilette blinked. "Me?"

"Yeah!" Wrio affirmed, turining his eyes back to the lights.

"...How so?" Neuvilette asked eventually.

You're the reason I've been going to work early, Wrio thought. The reason I've been driving home late, dedicating myself to the project, trying harder, working harder to become somebody. It was all so very bland before he met Neuvilette, he could barely find the motivation to do anything at all.

"It just is." He restated, knowing Neuvilette wasn't nosy enough to probe.

"Glad I could be of assistance," Neuvilette accepted lightly, letting it be. "Should I expect to see you less?"

"Nah," Wrio rejected the idea immediately. The company would have to pry his drive times away from his cold, dead hands. "I'll just get more freedom to do what I think we should as a team. More responsibilities too, but that's worth me getting to rule over the entire department. Feels kinda noble."

"I'm sure your new subjects will be just as happy to live under your 'rule', your grace."

Wriothesley snorted.

He was going to answer, shoot back with a retort just as sharp when the light changed, cutting their conversation short.
