I don't mind when immortal x mortal ships have gaps because immortal characters are presented as frozen in time, at a certain level of mental maturity, so say an immortal who presents themselves as 35 could date anywhere from 25 to 50 without it bothering me.

An immortal who was frozen at 18 cannot date a mortal who is 45. That's fucked up. Do you follow

I'm happy with Flins (designed to come off as around 30) and Illuga, Flins and Varka, I even joked about Lohen and Pantalone with Pantalone being frozen at around 35 and them both being canonically fucked in the head,

But Varka is canonically 40-50, he's of the same generation as Crepus and Seamus, and as insane as he is Lohen comes off as maybe 22 ish??

It takes some time to finally tear his eyes away from his creation and back to his tablet, where he was working on the final touches for his personality. He would be rational in all the ways Kaveh had been scorned for lacking. He would balance him out, challenge Kaveh, bring him to heights Kaveh would have never even known existed alone.

He would be beautiful, and he would be perfect.
