oh my god. most of life really is about the little things. a good haircut, a nice playlist, trying a new recipe that turns out well, a poem that hits home, a comfortable spot in the sun, spontaneous messages, a pen you enjoy writing with, tea with the right temperature to drink, buying that thing you’ve been eyeing for a while, a warm bed. yeah. im so grateful for the little enjoyments

i think it has served it's purpose, i am going to get rid of the US now

the way that this is a sonnet the two lines at the end metatextual shift as well in terms of subverting the sonnet form i feel normal

I’m going to find divine signs in all encounters whether I wake up w the sunset and decide for myself that it’s going to be a good day or there’s a bunch of pennies heads up on the ground or a crow hops alongside me on the sidewalk I know a message is being sent bc the universe loves me and I love her too
