As a kpop fan and and kpop blog, let me say: I’m sorry. This is awful and is not something I can see any of the groups/people in these posts supporting. If you’re this kind of fan/person then STAY AWAY FROM MY BLOG!!!! I’m ashamed to be part of the same fandom as these people. Every fandom has its good and bad sides, but this is unacceptable. A 20 year old boy died today, he was someone’s brother, son, friend, and so much more; but most of all he was a HUMAN BEING! What possibly makes you think you it’s okay to do this? And for those who want to hide behind the fame and popularity of the group/idol you stan, then I’ll remind you the Cameron Boyce made his own mark as a celebrity. He started acting as a child and is well known for his roles, while also gaining fame as a dancer and part of a dance crew. He’s noted for raising $27,00 for the Thirst Project. Just to name a few things. His work gave him the chance to become people’s inspiration, representation, and more. Except none of that should have to be stated when it comes to treating him and his death with BASIC RESPECT! I honestly don’t know what to else to say to explain how wrong this is, and I’m still shocked I even have to. I really hope some of the kpop groups find out about this and take the chance to speak out against it, and if they do find out and don’t say a word or, worst of all, support this kind of behavior then I’m done supporting them. For those of you who want to call me a fake fan or don’t follow me or whatever, go ahead because I feel no shame or regret for that statement. I have the hope and belief that the groups and idols I stan are good people and have basic morals, but obviously the same can’t be said for some of the fans.
