All jokes about Netflix and social distancing aside, the coronavirus outbreak is causing financial uncertainty for a lot of people. From workers who rely on tips to events staffers for now-canceled festivals and trade shows, there are plenty of scenarios where the income you can typically count on may not come through.
Sorry this is off topic again but it seems useful and no one is really talking about this? If your income is affected by coronavirus, because your workplace has shut down, or because you’re sick or caretaking, the government will give you free money (unemployment insurance.) It is yours, you deserve it, the gov just gave $1.5 trillion as a capital injection like it’s no big deal; they could have given every American $4,870 for that amount, so really don’t feel bad about taking what you need.
