Cosby’s spokespeople, Andrew Wyatt and Ebonee Benson, told “Good Day Alabama” Wednesday the comedian is planning a series of town halls this summer to educate young people about sexual assault.

More specifically, they say he’s planning on teaching ‘em how to look out for warning signs from potential victims and accusations that could follow.

I really don’t even have much to say.  Bill Cosby is actually dead to me now.  Before, he was just a creepy rapist and I guess I’m so used to that particular kind of Scum of the Earth that I had the luxury of just putting him out of my mind.  I just don’t think about Bill Cosby.  He assaulted a bunch of women, admitted under oath that he has drugged women and that he had women procured for him, and an embarrassing percentage of the Black community still acts like it’s a witch hunt against a rich Black man.  I stopped having the energy for that fight.  They’re like Trump voters to me – you exist, you’re set in your ways, and there’s nothing I can do to change your mind, so just stay away from me with your ignorance.

But this is an extra step further.  He wants to have town halls to help young people stay out of situations where they could be accused of sexual assault?  What’s that Outline like?

I. Don’t Drug Women      A. Don’t buy date rape drugs.      B. If you buy date rape drugs, don’t put them in women’s drinks.      C. If you put them in women’s drinks, see section III. II. Don’t Assault Women      A. Don’t use your power, influence, or drugs to coerce women into sex.      B. Don’t engage in sexual activity with a woman who says no.      C. Don’t engage in sexual activity with a woman who is incapable of saying no because you drugged them.      D. If you do engage, see section III. III. Convince Your Victims Not To Tell      A. Intimidate them into silence.             1. Use your power and connections             2. Tell them no one will believe them anyway.      B. Pay them off.

What else could Bill Cosby possibly have to say on the subject?  What level of garbage do you have to be?  He just needs to disappear for the rest of his life, not make the rounds to give lectures on a hypothetical that isn’t a problem.  There’s no movement among women to just go around falsely accusing men of assault, so to give lectures on how to avoid it implicates a trend that doesn’t exist.  He is even more disgusting to me and so is anyone who goes to hear him speak.

For the first time in more than four decades, the Yellowstone grizzly bear is set to lose its federal protections under the Endangered Species Act. Citing a rebound in the bear’s population, the U.S. Department of Interior announced its intention Thursday to end these protections and return oversight of the animal’s status to the state level.

The agency says the rule to remove the grizzly from the endangered species list will be published “in coming days” and “will take effect 30 days after publication.”

“This achievement stands as one of America’s great conservation successes; the culmination of decades of hard work and dedication on the part of the state, tribal, federal and private partners,” Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said in a statement. “As a Montanan, I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together.”

Since those federal protections were instituted in 1975, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem grizzly bear population has climbed from 136 to roughly 700, according to the National Park Service. The NPS says the bears — which generally roam in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho — “have gradually expanded their occupied habitat by more than 50%.”
