I’ve loved the Discworld series since I was 9, and even at my age, I’m still trying to figure out life (spoiler alert: I haven’t).

I devour anything from sci-fi to crime, to fantasy and thrillers. Have also been known to partake in a wee bit of smut (okay, a lot)

I’m sarcastic, drink too much coffee, swear an insane amount, and I'm old enough to know better, but I really don't.

When I'm not reading a good book, I'm attempting to write one!

I am terrible at charging my kindle, got all comfy in bed and it was just not turning on.

However, a good excuse to begin Hooked by Emily McIntyre.

Kindles are convenient, but physical books will never let me down.

These books are stunning, and they even included some lovely bookish goodies with them too. It was such a nice surprise! A very much needed pick me up after the last few days.

I can’t wait to get stuck into the series. And once I’ve finished reading them, I’m planning to pay it forward and pass the set on to someone else in the community so they can enjoy them as well. 💛

After all, books are meant to be shared and loved.

I NEED Advice on DNF a book. Yes, sacrilegious I know.

I'm doing a few ARC readings and I have a book which I really liked the idea of. However, as soon as I opened it on my kindle I was bombarded with nearly a dozen pages of a glossary and a list of who's who in a book I haven't even begun to read.

It's thrown me off majorly and I'm now struggling to get through the first chapter because the characters haven't been introduced well at all.

It's like the Author is acting under the assumption that we know all about this universe and what's going on.

I feel horrible DNF a book so quickly but my brain is gonna explode.
