So, washed my hair with a half maximum hydration method (skipped the clay rinse... I got lazy) then I applied the assigned gel with a little bit of oil to the hair and done an overnight twist out. Loving the curls, I keep looking at this other pic checking to see if my length is there yet! I guess that's the bit that takes patience, but I'm telling you now the best thing I could've done along this journey was to love my natural hair however it grows... I'm in love with my cu-curls ☺

Wash day... Full maximum hydration method, this is the clay rinse step... Must remind myself to add something to make this smell nicer!

Pic 1. Dec '14: First wash n go using the max hydration method, curls were very tight then! I'm thinking that I didn't do the leave in and gel step properly? Pic 2. Jan '15: Wash n go following the full method, curls again are pretty tight - again don't think I done the last step properly. Pic 3 & 4. Feb '15: completed the full method then made sure to separate the Hair into sections when applying the gel, looks noticeably better, this was even a twist out worn the following day. Progress! ☺

Maximum hydration method... I've been following the rules of this quite loosely due to time allowances and patience but I have seen an improvement in the way my hair curls. They do say to complete this every 3 days, I try my best to stick to it but it's demanding - I am however trying to be more focused now. I also have been lazy and have only done the baking soda step (1) followed by the leave in conditioner and gel step (5)... Extremely lazy I know but I'm getting better, especially now that I've seen results!

The undecided, they've made their decision. They'll probably have their cake and eat it too... The same way how people sit back and do nothing to resolve issues, it's just as bad as creating the problem in the first place. These wishy washy disloyal people don't deserve time, energy or emotion... #CutEmLoose

For 2015 I wanna see bigger hair and even bigger smiles ☺

So in day two of my maximum hydration regimen I failed, a lot. To recap on day one, it was a great day, had a nice experience with my first wash and go. Then I had to re wet my hair and it felt a little odd because it had just got dry, so when I was doing the baking soda rinse it felt like I was stripping my hair. I then went on to DC overnight, I didn't have a great night's sleep so when I woke up I had to run errands before I could tackle any hair regimens (I wore a hat). It wasn't until after 3 I was able to rinse out the DC. It didn't feel great, I really over conditioned. So then I didn't want to further strip it with the clay rinse so I added some watered down leave in and oil, and put it into twists. My scalp feels very dry at the moment, I usually like to put more product on my hair so that it doesn't have this dull dry feel. Not sure if I want to be wetting my hair everyday if it's going to end up this dry afterwards. Any thoughts?

Day 1 of Maximum hydration method. Completed steps 1 & 2 last night and continued the rest this morning (5 steps in total). I actually liked the results, I've never done a wash and go before and wasn't sure how my hair would look (when wet and when it dried) but I do love it. As I said the winter made my hair awfully dry but I'm hoping to regain some moisture ☺
