I was 20 years old when I came out, a little late to the game but, i was terrified. Fear of rejection from my peers and family made me suppress who I really was and in effect caused me to not live my truth. But friends I am here to tell you I recieved so much more love than hate. I am beyond lucky to have the family and friends I have and to be able to live my truth without fear everyday. Hug your LGBTQ+ friends.
