So I just recently came across an article titled "35 Facts That Prove 'Space Jam' is Criminally Underrated". This is my interpretation of these facts and reasoning for why Space Jam needs more appreciation

Reason #1- "I Believe I Can Fly"

Like seriously? how does this song not make you feel like you can defeat an evil alien race, even though you're just a child and have no idea that that is what your future holds. Like honestly, it just makes me want to hug a pile of warm blankets and color in coloring books and eat lots of snack pack pudding. THAT kind of good.

Reason #2-Michael Jordan

Who else DIED when Michael Jordan went to dunk as a small child and then all of a sudden BOOM he's a freaking NBA PLAYER?! LIKE WHAT?! then you have all of these short and fast clips of him doing basketball-y things and plays the space jam song and just makes you FREAKIN PUMPED and want to go buy overpriced beer and hot dogs and an extra extra large popcorn and cheer for MJ!! Like, whats gonna happen next? Doesn't matter, MJ rocks.

Reason #3-CROSS WORLD SHIT

So, there's all of the Looney Tunes, right? Yeah thats pretty cool, i've been a fan of them since birth. NBD. OH WAIT WE'RE IN THE REAL WORLD NOW? AND BACK IN LOONEY TUNE LAND?! AND ANIMATED CREATURES ARE INTERACTING WITH A REAL HUMAN AND GO TO HIS HOUSE TO GET HIS BASKETBALL SHOES FROM HIS TERRIFYINGLY GIGANTIC DOG?! Tell me another movie with this much awesome. I dare you.

Reason #4-Danny Freaking DeVito

I don't need to explain much why its amazing that Danny DeVito is the voice of the mean fat bad guy alien in this movie. You can pretty much even see a resemblance between the two. Perfection.

Reason #5-Roger Ebert?

Yeah, I dont get that one.

Reason #6- The Looney Tunes teach you how to play basketball

How nice of them. Some kids just dont get it. But now they know. 

Reason #7- MJ Shirtless

I remember a lot of girls going WOOOOOOOOOHHHH when this happened. Any excuse for a hot professional athlete to take their shirt off? Who wouldn't love that. Well, even if people dont I don't care they can go home this is my blog.

Reason #8-Daffy Duck Reminds You You're A Douchebag

Seeing that Purple and Yellow thug life fake gangsta baggy pants outfit just makes me LOL. Like i actually laugh out loud, maybe pee a little bit on accident, but you'll never know for sure. Also gotta love the silhouettes of the skanky bitches on the wall. Really sets up the scene.

Reason #9- Bugs and MJ Mack It

People, this is probably the best romance ever to hit the screen. Forget Jack and Rose, THIS is the good stuff. Personally, i think Bugs uses a little too much face though.

Reason #10-Michael Jordan's Baseball Career

lets be real, that one was just for a big laugh.

Reason #11-WB Porn?

I mean, yeah I guess Daffy with WB taped to his ass and kissing it may constitute as porn? theres also the Bugs boner thing, but we'll get there later

Reason #12-MJ Sponsors Jokes

Who doesn't love Bill Murray? And the fact that he's in this movie? AND can play basketball? AND THEN THROW IN THE UMBRELLA HAT i just can't bye im done. <3

Reason #16- Charles Barkley is a wannabe according to a 15 year old girl

Bout time someone else called him out on it. that SNL performance was terrible.

Reason #17-Charles Barkley makes Madonna Joke

But the fact that he dated her makes me want to vom dot com.

Reason #18-Patrick Ewing: Trouble Performing in bed?

Also the fact that the music playing is all OOHHH YEAHHHH sensual like Yello and all of the different bball guys on the lounge chair thing and then the little itty bitty one and im just like GAWD HES SO TINY and i smile and eat more popcorn.

I don't have those weird Lola Bunny male fantasies, but i would definitely aspire to be as badass as her. Don't EVER call me doll.

Reason #20-Boner Joke

When Bugs meets Lola and he gets all rigid like a breadstick (or a boner) and falls to the ground. theres actually a lot of sexual jokes in this movie, and I kinda sorta love it a lot.

Reason #21-Shot in front of a green screen?

BUT THE ACTING LOOKS SO REAL? YOU MEAN ALL OF THOSE ANIMATED CHARACTERS WEREN'T REALLY ALL THERE?!?!

Reason #22-Tune Squad and MonStars

The most original names. I love it. And I WILL buy a Tune Squad jersey.

Reason #23-Pulp Fiction Reference

Because who doesn't love really strange awesome movies where a chick is stabbed in the chest with adrenaline and john travolta dances like a boss.

Reason #24-Scoring

Well, to be honest, the scores changed the whole entire game. The math didn't make sense, and honestly i dont think the writers cared at all. which is pretty damn awesome. Especially when it just went blank and said "Kinda one sided isn't it?"

Reason #25- Only one Fart Joke

Honestly though, I kinda wish there was more

Reason #26-Bill Murray confused for Dan Aykroyd

Classic. #Ghostbusters

Reason #27-Michael Jordan's magic arm

You can't tell me you didn't wish your arm did that.

Reason #28-Mike's Baseball Entrance

OH, and I Believe I Can Fly plays again. Way to pull the whole movie together and make me wanna hug every teddy bear I own and drown myself in ice cream and chocolate.

Reason #29-MJ's Fake Family

Nothing better than having the wife and kids put in your movie..especially when its not your real wife and kids!

Reason #30-MJ goes MLB

Inspired to join MLB after his father died, just like in real life. WHOAH.

Reason #31-Bugs Bunny trumps Air Jordan

Nothing better than seeing the movie poster and seeing that Bugs, a fictional character who was pretty much drawn onto the poster, is billed higher than Michael Jordan, a professional athlete, who actually got paid to be in the movie.

Reason #32-The Whole Movie is based on a Nike Ad

I can't help it. Sometimes I get just so irritated that I throw all caution to the wind and REALLY let people know how i'm feeling. Oops.

The background to this statement is as follows:

So, I work hard. Not for attention or praise, not for perks or anything. I work hard because its the right thing to do. Some other people that I work with though, don't have the same philosophy. My problem is that when someone else isn't doing what they should be and is randomly wandering around like they belong in a hot dog suit handing out fliers, I step in and take on everything they were supposed to be doing, or at least trying to. This can get stressful when I get left alone by myself working 4 stations by myself, trying to make all of the guests happy, and trying to maintain my sanity. Last night was one of these nights, and the night that I really lost it.

My boss is great. He's nice and fun and really understanding and goes out of his way for everyone. And yesterday, I was a really big jerk to him :\ I was irritated because I felt like I was doing and always do all of this work and no one cares about it, but the people who constantly do nothing get praise when they move a box from one side of the room to the other. I actually almost quit last night, but I'm glad I didn't.

I have a great job, and I like it. I don't want a different one. I might complain about it constantly, but at the end of the day I can just say that tomorrow is a new day, and i'll be excited to go back and do it all over again. I'm always going to have to deal with irritating people, who come to work to socialize and don't care about anyone else. I'm just going to have to learn how to deal with it and come to grips with the fact that I know I'm doing my best, and thats all that matters. I don't need notice or acknowledgement, I don't need perks for doing the right thing. I guess sometimes it would be nice to be told i'm doing a great job, but I don't want it to be just because I look irritated or like I'm having a shitty day. I want it to be because someone genuinely cares that I'm doing my best and that I'm making a difference. Oh well, I dont even really know what I'm saying anymore.

Its not like, a problem or anything. I like my job. We're in that weird phase where i'm pretty significantly into it but not comfortable saying the "L" word yet for fear of messing up the relationship. I like where we are right now. We're in a good place.

It kind of feels like that part of the relationship where you might even feel like you're probably spending too much time with them, but you're ignoring that small weird feeling that says "take a day for yourself". I mean yeah, i'm only there 3-4 days a week in a mandatory sense, but I spend a fair amount of my free time there too, whether i'm just passing through or there with friends. But when i'm there with my friends its weird, because I feel like I can't fully enjoy myself, knowing the restrictions I have because i'm employed there. 

A lot of things about it are great. It's fun, I enjoy spending time there, and time flies when i'm there because I'm having a good time, but its starting to affect my education. I have trouble balancing the different aspects of my life and feel like i'm putting more into my single digit an hour job than my $40,000 a year education. Oh well, people do crazy things when they're in lo...HA! almost got me to say it, but i'm smarter than that. 

I can't think of any more ironic comparisons to relationships, so this post is done for now. 

I complain about things all the time. 

I spend an excessive amount of time on the internet. 

I needed one more thing to distract me from all of the work I should be doing.
