Throwback Thursday to the worst day of my life! 💔 You gotta catalogue the good AND the bad, and WOW was this bad! The whole krewe was absolutely wrecked by Kralk (I’m still amazed I got a shot of him head-on before he slam-dunked us) AND our sweet baby girl crystal daughter got killed! Not permanently, but we thought it was! I’ve like, died before and even that was a better day than this one. Good pictures tho. . #just-jala-things

Some might call this lighting “ominous”, but I call it gorgeous (AND ominous)! I know that a dragon response mission isn’t the greatest time to be snapping shots of yourself, but don’t worry- I waited until the Destroyer of the Great Bridge was defeated (and Jory and Jhavi were arguing 🙄) to capture these looks. (fr tho, I tried to ask Jory how Kas was and she stonewalled me. ME!) . #just-jala-things

When you’re feeling stressed out from saving the world (or handling guild disputes, LOL), nothing clears the head like a skyscale flight! My sweet Tulip is always ready for an adventure, and she’s very photogenic. Here we are flying over the Brand in Jahai Bluffs! Very pretty, very dangerous! Don’t get hit by lightning! . #just-jala-things

After the Metal Legion concert (rock on!), Gloopal said he heard of a really nice spot nearby for hiking! Grothmar Valley is gorgeous (so many flowers), so I was totally down. I started to get a little suspicious when he said the trail was called ‘The Gauntlet of the Khan-Ur’, and dang it, wouldn’t you know it was a jumping puzzle! SIGH. I found a nice place to snap some pics while they started jumping around. The moon was so bright, everything was beautiful! So, all-in-all, not terrible. Excellent aesthetics. . #just-jala-things

I can’t believe I got to meet my FAV author Snargle Goldclaw! (In the Eye of the North, no less!) I have every one of his books- and they’re all AMAZING. I’m currently making my way through The Ebonlocke Covenant for the third time and it’s just as good as the first time I read it! . #just-jala-things

Okay, this one’s a little embarrassing but at the same time I look kinda great? So I’m posting it. hashtag no regrets! Jiyak snapped this one for me by accident after I got my butt handed to me by the Minister of Morale. It’s just so dramatic and mysterious! Am I dead? Am I posing? Am I knocked on my ass and completely unintelligible? I mean, it’s the last one, but still, the drama! . #just-jala-things

AHHH I FINALLY GOT TO SEE METAL LEGION!! I was line for tickets for THREE YEARS. They were so good- The Ballad of Soulkeeper was a masterpiece. Of course I took my krewe along- even though it turned out that they weren’t really into metal. :/ Whaaaat. Gloopal kept talking about electronica and it’s like, I get it, we’re asura! 🙄 Jiyak got into the spirit in the mosh pit, which was fun. Send good vibes my way- I’m trying to get a tshirt but the only way to get them rn is scalpers, UGH. . #just-jala-things

Makali Outpost is a tiny village constantly beset by Mordant Crescent and the Forged (not to mention the dry heat of the desert, lol), but at night it’s the best place to stargaze. If you’re ever passing through the Desert Highlands, go at night! You won’t regret it! (unless you run into the Mordant Crescent. Or the Forged. Or the sandsharks. Or the sand eels. Just avoid all that and you’ll love it!) . #just-jala-things

You HAVE to visit the Temple of Kormir in the Crystal Oasis during the day - the sunshine makes the colors on these beautiful mosaics POP, and it’ll really bring out that sunshiney pop in your look! Plus, I tried hummus for the first time here. Hummus! Who knew? . #just-jala-things

What’s a perfect time to get your look right and snap a few pics? Uh, when your krewe is agonizing over a jumping puzzle! We all have our skills and specialties, and jumping is NOT one of mine.
